Random vibrations - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My phone randomly vibrates, usually three or more short vibrations in a row. Even when I have vibrate and haptic feedback off I get vibrations. It's not a notification or an alert or anything. My phone will just be sitting on my desk and start vibrating over and over.
Anyone else have this problem?
Anyone know how to fix it? It's rather annoying....

couple of ?? speaker phone and text volume

I am running tazz froyo, but this has been a problem for a while. When I receive a text message with sound, like one of those stupid forwards everyone gets it has no sound. I have searched the phone settings and cant find a way to disable or enable the sounds. does anyone else have this problem or know what might be causing it?
My second problem is how do you wake the phone up from sleep while on speaker phone without hanging up on the person. The only way that I have been able to do it is to press the end button which terminates the call.
thanks for the help
For the first one, I have no idea.
For the second one, I'm glad to share this as I found it out yesterday.
Press and hold the volume up button and then press the send button to wake the screen when you're on a call and the screen won't turn on.

Random vibrate?

I turned off all vibrate settings but I get random vibrate incoming calls. I tried phone right side up, face down, no ideas.
I've noticed this too but it seems to happen at certain battery level intervals. Not sure if it's just meant to warn me and I'm missing a message on the screen at the time or what.
My battery is full. I had my wife test call me multiple times and it did it once.i dint know what changed to make it do it but its an annoyance to me

[Q] CM7 Screen Temporarily (5-6 seconds) Black When Placing Call

Intermittently, when initiating a call, the screen goes blank/ black for 5-6 seconds, or longer, and does not wake up. During this time, the phone does not respond to any tactile or soft input, but ringing and other audio continues to emit from the earphone.
I do not have any sort of screen cover/ protection, or any other obtrusion to the proximity sensor.
This is extremely annoying, as sometimes, I would like to immediately hang up, or place the call on speaker, but cannot do either as no input registers.
Is this an isolated issue to me, or CM7 on the AT&T SGS2? I am not running any special apps or background services.
It 'feels' as if this is mostly caused by some sort of lag, as it does happen intermittently. i can't pin down a particular pattern during which this persists. Anyone else experience any similar symptoms?

this same issue is what made me drop cm7 and go to UnNamed
I had it and would just hit the power button to turn it back on.
Dropped this on their forums:

Holding phone to face for a call starts random apps or hangs up.

Has anyone experienced this frustration with the Mate 10 Pro. When I'm on a phone call and holding the phone to my cheek, sometimes the mute button will get pressed, the hang up button will get pressed, I'll end up in Bluetooth settings screen or on the notepad app and my cheek will have typed a few characters??
I thought the phone sensor is supposed to know when you have the phone to cheek and keep the screen off for battery savings as well as to avoid accidental hang ups, button presses or other things like this.
If there is a setting I have missed and someone can please help me, I'd be forever in your debt. Also want to know if this is something others experience too?
Thanks so much for any help.

Android pie beta random vibrate

Since upgrading to the android pie beta, I'm getting random vibrates, as if a notification has come in but I have no notification. Anyone else experienced this?
I have turned the setting on to turn the screen on with notifications. When I get the random vibrate, the screen does not turn on suggesting it's not a "hidden" notification.
