Honeycomb music app for honeycomb emmc v4 working

This is not an app as you need all of the app for it to work. To get it to work, put the app in system/app foder using any root explorer that works, like androotfile. Then use astro to oull the lib from the apk, and then place the lib into system/lib. Then you need to go back to astro and remove the lib folder in the apk file. This method worked for me. Jumper test app opens but i cant get it to connect or sync. This was my method, hope you enjoy.

are you talking about the actual honeycomb music app from the xoom or do you mean the beta one that was leaked months ago?
The beta one for the honey comb rom. I posted this because it finally worked for me after the steps. If this has already been achieved sorry. I was happy to have a tablet music app again.over been playing aroind with the xoom dump. But the odex has given me problems

I could not delete the lib folder in the apk, but after a few minutes it worked.
ya, I used astro and kept alternating astro and androotfile to edit the apk and push the files to there places. I wish rokt explorer worked*sigh*

are you putting libjumper.so in /system/lib/ or in /system/lib/armeabi-v7a/ ?
EDIT:
works for me putting libjumper.so in /system/lib/ . FC on me if i start it up in portrait mode; weird. works and looks nice in landscape. some screens work in portrait, but not the library listings.
I'm not sure I needed to remove the /lib from the apk, but thanks nonetheless!
craby -- did you go to settings, accounts & sync, and check "Music"? i got it working on my Nexus One just to test, but i didn't try on the nook.
woo, i just tried it and it works. That's awesome. Yet again i learn something new every day... To go stream music away!
Just saw this thread, but not sure I understand it. I am on Sam's build of HC v4.0, 2nd ed. EMMC. Going out on a limb here and saying this is a diff music player than the one that comes with it? If so, where can I get the new music app in order to check it out? Thanks.

Where to hide our private videos?

Hey guys the title says it all. Where to hide my porn in the file manager so that it is invisible in the gallery.
I put my porn in my created folder 'other' but still it is visible in my gallery lol

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA xD
Remove the filename extension. Works for me
audio manager is a good app to hide any secret information....
hit the thanks button if i have helped you...
use video vault bro for videos, and photovault for images. Ask me if you want the apk.
Any folder name that begins with a ' . ' (period) wont be scanned by the gallery.

Just create a new file in dat other folder
File name ".nomedia" without quotes

Well if you really wanna hide stuff even from sdcard, use audio manager by Anuj Tenani ( The name of app is purposely named) .
It works as a audio profiler but once you long press the title of app you go into this secret world.
It encrypts data (with some simple and fast method) so even if someone gets hold of sdcard no worry. You can also uninstall the app(data remains hidden), when you reinstall you shall find everything as it is.
You have to long press the media or folder you want hide > Share > audio manager.
Good things in life are always free.
But if you just want to hide it from gallery use gallery excluder it makes the ".nomedia" files for you. (Restart gallery one or two times)

You can also zip them or add .zip extension to the master folder. Root explorer and astro play the zip directly without Unzipping.

Apending folder with .zip I think wont work, gallery will still show the content because its a folder with .zip in the name not extension.

Just tried after adding .zip to my video songs folder. Videos show in gallery but don't play. They don't play in any video player either.
Deleting the created thumbnails will also solve the problem of showing in gallery.

I'd also kilter to know
Ok, found a way. Use Astro to browse the files in the "Litening Wallpaper" .apk file. You can than copy the wallpaper file you want onto your SD card. It should appear in your gallery, like every other picture.

For some reason, I don't see those hidden/protected folders though I'm rooted.
/system/app/litening_wallpapers.apk
Than browse files, the images are in /res/drawable-hdpi-v4.

Ya this is the best app for transferring any file format(even .apk).

[Q] Stock ringtone - Over the horizon

Hello
One of my family member liked my ringtone, and asked me if it was possible for me to get it for her. So I tried, but failed. I only found the whole song. But it is not the one in the device.
So I am asking if somebody could get me the real samsung ringtone . Over the horizon?
Thank you very much.
I'm pretty sure no one on here will help you essentially steal a proprietary ringtone. But if you were rooted and happened to go to /system/media/audio/ringtones yourself, and extract the file, there is nothing anyone could do.

Wow, copyrighted ringtones ? what will they think up next !
Also: http://www.zedge.net/ringtone/1436885/
Well excuse me for assuming a Samsung ringtone bundled with a Samsung phone might be copyrighted to Samsung. Like touchwiz for example........

If anyone's interested, if you have a Nandroid backup of your stock Samsung ROM you can extract the files from sytsem.ext4.tar on a PC or Nandroid backup browser. They're under \system\media\audio\

Go download zedge from the play store and search for it. They have tones. Then get a file explorer to search for the zedge folder you'll find the ringtone in the folder. Then you can send it to your friend

On my GB it is found in /system/media/audio/ringtones. Use Root Explorer and via Bluetooth send it to the other phone.
The file is an .ogg sound file.
I would have attached the file for you to DL but don't see a file attach option in this app.
I do hope this helps you though.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
You can do this without root
From root explorer you go to
system/media/ringtones
Copy it to you sdcard
Check out these threads you can download it directly
