Hi Guys
Recently i bought LG Optimus One P500 and i got a free 2GB microsd card
How to find out what type of class my card Belongs to
Does LG Optimus One P500 supports Micro SDHC cards ???
You can check your SD card's class by writing a considerably large file (I suggest at least 30Mb) to the disk, and then check to see what the average write speed is
From Wikipedia:
Class 0 cards do not specify performance, which includes all legacy cards prior to class specifications.
Class 2, 2 MB/s, slowest for SDHC cards.
Class 4, 4 MB/s.
Class 6, 6 MB/s.
Class 10, 10 MB/s.

I bought fist 8gb sandisk class 4 from a local shop for rs 800 4 months ago. One month ago I bought 16 gb sandisk class 4 from
Ebay.in. for rs 1200.
Both cards are top notch. On both cards I have 1gb ext 4 partition. On o1 I use 16gb and on Spica I use 8 gb. I have given my Spica to my kids.
Sandisk now usually comes in class 4. You can see "4" written inside a circle on SD card.
My advice is head over to ebay.in and buy from memorycardsindia. Its the name of seller. I got the card in 2 days through a renowned courier service.

I am, and always have used my 8gb msdhc
Sent from my GT-S5830 using XDA App
I also use 8GB Micro SD HC
from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital stated that anything above 4gb is microsdhc. "hc" stands for high capacity. ace supports upto 32gb. so, its just plain obvious
I am using a 16gb class 10 PNY card. Read speed in excess of 20Mbs write speed 9Mbs.
Suggest you buy a class 10 and also from a branded manufacturer. I read a review of some of the cards on ebay and people complaining of low r/w speeds on unbranded cards which is the reason u should by a branded card.

which micro sd card should I use for my X10 mini (E10i) ? which is the best?
SanDisk microSD hc 16GB class 4 or KINGSTON Class 10 Micro SD HC
I think class 10 would be good..
Greater the class, better the speeds..
Hi,
I am using the SanDisk Mobile Ultra 16GB I
Is there any faster Micro SD out there? class 10 or any others?
I am only referring the speed on the phone.
Perhaps i am going to get a 32gb later
Class 10 is the highest for read/write for memory cards
isn't there is something called the UHS-1?
Yes, however that class is explicitely for professional usage and as such is hard to come by and very expensive.
Additionally, it't not only about the SD, but the cardreader in the phone must also support such transfer speeds.
I have a class 4, 32GB micro sd card and i'm planning to buy a new one. I'm thinking about buying a class 10 64gb, but i don't know if the phone will support this much memory.
There is any drawback about having 64gb? Should i get a class 10 32gb instead?

It has been reported that Xperia 2011 devices like Arc S and Play support 64GB so I think it should work, but it is NOT advisable! And only ONE Neo V user has reported using 64GB hence it is a RISKY investment! :cyclops:
I'd say stick to buying a Class 10 32GB
But if you still wanna get the 64GB then here is the procedure - Insert the SDCard(It might show prompt saying Card is empty) and Format it from the phone(FAT32) and it should work.
Disclaimer : I got info from other posts. I'm not responsible if anything goes wrong with the 64GB choice! :cyclops:
