you could do force SEUS update. follow these steps:
1. Open Seus, select you device on device selection.
2. when seus ask you to disconnect and reconnect your mini, don't. instead follow the next step.
3. hold down the middle+right+power button key.
4. once screen goes blank, release the power and middle key. but keep holding the right key.
5. seus will now recognize your mini.

[Q] brick my x10 mini pls help !

I brick my phone x10 mini and it's now stuck in SE white written name. I searched in forum and I found few solutions. I try flash tool and we succeeded to re-flash , but still not working. There has been no change, the phone remains stuck . (sorry for my english , but I don't speak very good english)
TNX in advanced !
Install SEUS on your PC/Laptop.
Switch off your phone and hold the back key whilst you insert your usb cable, the SEUS should reckognise your phone after you have accepted their T&C's and ready to reflash... It should work..
Warning: You will lose all your data what is stored on your phone memory.

Taking out the battery will put it off
In defense of the noobs around here i can't find the repair button n'or does SEUS give me the Install Anyway option. Have the latest SEUS and now i'm trying an older one hope it works, but for precaution can anybody post a link to an alternative flashing tool ? Much appreciated.

[Q] X10 Mini Firmware

I need to flash my X10 Mini, but I can't find the firmware for It anywhere with a working link. Anyone that still have the file and willing to share?
There are only plenty of links to sites that are down
I tried to install MiniCM7-2.1.9-robyn on the phone and then afterwards it just won't start anymore, so i need to flash it and then use SEUS to restore it.
UPDATE!
I found everything and fixed everything I needed by just flashing It with a stock kernel.
Just use the Repair option in Pc Companion.

I'm not looking for how to do It..... Read the question before you post. I appreciate you trying to help, but at least understand what the question Is first.
I'm looking for the firmware for the flashtool so I can flash my device (.ftf file)
They guides that teaches you how to fix a bricked phone got links to megaupload (that got shutdown not long ago) and multiupload (also got shutdown) for the firmware I'm looking for.
If you can't turn the phone on, then flashtool won't help you. You have to able to turn the phone on to get to download mode for flashtool, or Pc Companion, or SEUS to do their thing.
If your phone doesn't turn on, you've got a hard brick. Which is bad.

No, it can be a hard brick, he didn't do anything to put his device in danger (from what he claims).
He just needs a stock .ftf file for mini, which I was planning to do in the past, but did only for the pro... I am sorry my friend... There is only one solution -to make the ftf file yourself, which is something very confusing and you are going to need another mini to do this. But don't get your hopes down, it is possible, at least...

The phone it self comes to a point where there is some light on the screen, but i can't see the SE Logo anymore. I can charge the phone without problem from what it looks.
If I can get hold of another mini how can I make the ftf?
What did I do to achive this problem??
I tried to install MiniCM7-2.1.9-robyn and it ended with a phone that got stuck during boot. Then I got to a guide where someone said "Hardreset the device and use SEUS", but SEUS always says that my phone has the latest software.

As far as SEUS is concerned, you DO have the latest software. It just doesn't realise that what you have doesn't work. Select the option to reinstall the software.

Only one problem here, I don't have the option to reinstall the software at all after it says that I already have the latest software.
Can it be that the option is no longer there depending on SEUS version?

There is a repair option in PC Companion, see it, please! The repair option on PC Companion is Support Zone --> Update --> Repair.
BTW, to hard reset :
1. Turn the phone off
2. Press the POWER button
3. Press and hold home key aprox 3 seconds
4. The hard reset is starting.

You need to relock the bootloader, but in order to do that you need flashmode
It goes as follows:
If you are NOT on stock firmware, start pc companion
choose update with your phone disconnected from your pc
it will give you a repair option
choose that, select your phone model from the list and wait until it pops up the dialog telling you to connect your phone in flashmode.
Connect your phone with the usb-cable
press home and power-buttons at the same time so you get a hard reboot.
As soon as the screen goes black, release those two buttons and press the back-button, it should enter flash-mode.
If it doesn't work the first time, keep trying this method until the dialog disappears and it starts flashing.
After that, open S1Tool and press the restore-button, it will relock your bootloader and your phone should be in good working order again, hopefully.
Thanks for the reply SmG67
Thanks for the reply SmG67 but I still cannot get through to the flash mode. Adding to my original post I would like to say that I can access the xrecovery screen and also have my phone rooted having installed super user but I cannot get the flashing green light to appear no matter how much I try.I am still trying the method SmG67 has suggested till any other replies appear.
Thanks

that might work, although that link is from the Experia Arc forum, if you search in this (x10mini) forum you will find other tools to do that too.
It won't help you at all with flashmode though, because that is a hardware feature that should work, regardless what software you use.

Thanks for the reply just4lists but I am still out of luck with this issue.I guess there has been some issue with the hardware may be the chip on the device. Also if there is any solution to remove the simlock please let me know so that I can use whatever is left of the cell.

x10 mini bricked

Hi,
Here is my problem.
I have Xperia x10 mini/ yesterday , but mistake, I installed the firmware of the X10 mini PRO !!!
Now, once I understood the mistake, I want to flash with x10 mini firmware.
In order to flash I need to have FLASHTOOLS and need to press the BACK button - the problem is that since the phone is using now the wrong firmware, the BACK button (needed for the flushing ) doesn’t do anything and thus, I cannot install the correct firmware. I tried pushing all other buttons without any luck.
Any idea how I can overcome this problem ? I can’t use my phone now.

i think if back button dos not do any thing it mean's you cant connect your device into flashmode.
so i guess it's briked and you need (jtag) or (gtag) doing whit riff box.

If so you can try to install PCCOMPANION to repair.

:silly:WTF back button.
Yea you're right.
What its the custom firmware installed, you can try to push convination of buttons for example:
backbutton and Power On at same time.
Powe On and another key.
Three buttons at same time, and put the battery, and connect the cable.
When i press three button at same time in my miniPro this represent another button.
Try this.
Good Luck.

*second i performed step 3 of the said guide up to step where you execute “01-local-prop” , then i realized the the firmware i got “4.0.4 firmware” is not appearing in my choices, so i figure its not the right rom, i unplug the usb and restart the phone, then the problem starts, it keeps on restarting over and over, i tried to flash it again to Xperia Mini (ST15i)_4.0.2.A.0.42_CE.ftf but it doesnt work because it keeps on restarting, pls help, it my first time doing root, i know it’s a learning process, i hope you can help me. tnx very much. hope to hear from you soon.

Make sure your phone has a good % of battery left
1) Power off the phone.
2) Start flashtool
3) Click on the Lighting Symbol and Select Flashmode and click OK.
4) Select Appropriate Firmware and Tick Wipe User Data and Wipe Cache check box if visible and click OK. If visible click even exclude TA
PS: The appropriate firmware is a stock firmware for your device. For example the GB rom you downloaded for the downgrade and already placed in the flashtool/firmwares folder
5) click ok and follow the on-screen indications
