Softbank X02T unbrick workaround - TG01 General

I sent my phone to Vietnam to unlock. I guess they could unlock (I’m not sure because, right now, I have no way to check). As a bonus they changed my rom to English but when i got my phone on my hand, I found out that pin 1 and 2 were soldered, the battery was used up (voltage was less than 3V) and it was not charging. I managed to charge the battery externally and after putting it back, when I pressed the power button, the green light blinked once and turned off. After some searching in the forum (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=680927), I found out that shorting pin 1 and 2 can wake up the phone and I could start my phone. Then I found out a easy way to do that. Here is the way I'm doing it now.
1. Solder pin 1 and 2 with 2 small flexible wires like the picture

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
2. Insert the sim and battery normally ( see the picture)
3. When starting, connects the two wires and press and hold the power button until Toshiba logo appears
4. Disconnect the wires and use the phone as normal(if you don’t disconnect, it will not charge).
Now you can charge, you can flash any English rom, do all the normal operations. Only drawback is when restarting, you have to open the back cover and connect the two wires again and disconnect.
Hope this will help unlucky X02t users until someone comes up with X02T's rom

External Screen white

Ok I did a quick search on the forum and I couldn't seem to find if anybody else had this problem.
I recently purchased a used HTC Qtek 8500 from eXpansys / Mobileplanet.
The only problem I have with the phone is that the external screen is white and won't change to anything else no matter what settings I make the change too. Obviously the screen is getting power to it but I don't have any other display other then just a white screen. See attached picture
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try a hard reset
push and release the power button, then quickly push and hold the left and right soft keys ( the buttons over the green and red buttons) when instructed press "0".
may or may not work, but worth a shot.
you may even consider opening the phone and reseating the connector of the display.. this happened a week ago to my keypad.. when it was not working.. and then after trying alot.. i noticed that when i pressed 4 hard i use to get the light.. just opened 2 screw's and removed the cable and put it back.. as good as new
Tried a hard reset as suggested.
Even tried flashing another ROM.
No difference still has the External White Screen. Anybody else have any ideas?
Bad news .... mine has the same behaviour and warranty service told me that was the lcd broken... so no warranty repair.
...although my phone has not even a little sign!!!!!
Will try to open it with the help of this guide when the phone come back from repair center.
I'll let you know

fatal failure [spanish ROM crashes phone]

hi,
i have an MDA Compact II of T-Mobile..
Previously it had German Windows Mobile 5 ROM, and I wanted to install an Spanish ROM..
Turned to be that the spanish one installed allright, but when i tourned the phone on it didn't... So i plugged it in and came to life but the battery was in 0%...
I let it plugged for half an hour but the charge didn't went up...
So i tried to install a new German Rom again but it doesn't allow me to do it because the battery is less than 50%...
I tried with several charmers but no one turned to solve my problem...
There is anything else that I can do??
Do you need mor information?? Tell me how to obtain it.. I'm preety new in this things...
Thanks
:/
There is a way,its a little bit extreme and i dont recommend it in any case but here it is if u like risking ur phones life: like battery flashing u need to connect ur phone directly to the cut off usb cable without battery,+to+,-to- all 4 wires, and the phone thinks that its backup power that ignores battery% but its still USB connected..I discovered that when i bought 3.6v instead 3.7v battery and it didnt want to start charging or start the phone if battery % below 6,so i did already explained and in the meantime little experimented. Its very low voltage on usb cables so it cant burn phone but u never know..
Like on picture connect usb wires to pins on phone those contacts go to..

Hope this helps..

USB Host and full charging at same time. v2

Our device is already quite old, but as a navigator or a video monitor in the car, he is able to perform its wonderful functions.
I wanted to make it work in the USB-Host mode and simultaneously charge current of 1-1.5 A. I tried different schemes, firmware, kernel.
That scheme, which allows the USB-Host and full charge at the same time.
Simple version:

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Complicated:
I used a reed relay type 2A and 1C.
After power on, 3pin and 4pin Samsung 30pin connector via resistors 33kOhm and 10kOhm are closed on the + 5V and the Gnd, the tablet starts full charging.
Push the button, self-locking relay K1, as well as closes 13pin through 20 kOhm resistor to the 15pin. Relays K2 and K3 switch 3pin and 4pin Samsung connector to 3pin and 2pin USB.
If the power is turned off relays K1, K2 and K3 are opened and the next occurrence of the power tab becomes full charge mode.
Capacitor C1 0,03F will delay the opening of the switch for 3-4 seconds, and allow time to safely remove the USB drive (Tasker: power on, usb drive on <- script / run shell / command: service call mount 7 s16 /mnt/sdcard/extStorages/UsbDriveA).

Problem

Hi
I have the KII-L21 version & I put the case on the wrong way round, so I presume it was pressing the power button without me realising. When I looked at it, it was displaying an EMUI message telling me not to unplug the USB or press any key.
Hoping to 'save it', I plugged it in a USB connected to wall charger.
But its been sitting there displaying this message - see attached - for over an hour without changing.
Any idea how to re-boot from this screen please ?

Have you tried doing a hard reset by pressing the Power button for at least 10 seconds?
