[Q] Software to show which applications were opened - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there any program for xperia x10 in which you can view which applications were visited previously

It is an inbuilt feature of the xperia. Press down the menu button for a view seconds and you will find the lust of apps recently opened.
Cheers!

[Q] [Problem] Lost "Universal search" when pressing "search" button

[Q] [Problem] Lost "Universal search" when pressing "search" button
Hi all,
Being playing with my Froyo Hero today (running Fusion!ROM).
I have found a new version of Google search in Market, tried to install it but keep says (Installation unsuccessful), so I assumed removing the old version I already have would solve the problem (Yes, Fusion has Google Search as default Universal Search assigned to the search button).
So I used Titanium Backup to uninstall the old version, then downloaded the new one from Market, it worked and installed successfully, but now when I press the search button in home screen nothing appear!
I use Launcher Pro, also when pressing "Menu" then "search" nothing happen!
Looks like I lost the "Google Search" to be used as the default search app , meanwhile the app exist in apps drawer and works great when I open it from there.
So it's just the link between the app and the physical button, How can I fix it
up!
anybody has a clue
Maybe go into Settings --> Apps --> go to the search app in the list and see if you can clear data/reset defaults or something similar, then try pressing the search button to see if it gives options on what app to use?
You know, like when you install an alternative home app?
.... A wild stab in the dark,... worth a try?
I can even restore Google Search with titanium backup. And yes, I did a backup of it!

Nice little app thanks, is it your work?

Does anybody noticed a strange thing? Some apps seems to create new activity instead of get focus when you switching between them with MultiTasking. Reproducable with dropbox and explorer/root explorer — you need to press "back" several times after switching to exit.

[Q] icons move it self

hello everyone
i'm facing some software problems, the mini diary icon move it self to page 3 on app menu and every time i move it back to page2 it move it self to page3 next day, its not that big deal, but you know, even sometimes the 4 main shortcuts in the bottom (dialer, contacts, messaging and apps) disappear and 4 other apps take their place, do you think i should change the rom? by the way im using an official rom
thanks in advance

app to quickly access most used apps/folders?

Im looking for an app which would show some popup window containing apps/folders which I've selected.
The idea is that I could quickly access my most-used apps, and maybe folders, without flicking through many home screens.
Im using the stock A2.1 launcher (on SE x10mp).
any suggestions?
TIA
Im not sure, but maybe Folder Organizer or App Organizer apps could help you.
Many launchers with dock, can handle folders on dock for fast access.
Cheers.
It's a widget not a popup but you could give My most used apps widget a try. Never used it myself.
thanks, but Im looking for something which could anytime popup a window from which I can launch my most -often used apps or access most-often used folders.
on my nexus one i just press and hold my search key which brings up android recent apps. i think the same functionality should be embedded with all phones as its built into android.
I have that too on my x10mp (with the home button).
but recent apps isnt the same as most used apps (I might have 20 of the latter). also, this feature doesnt show quick link to a folder or a file.

Context menu not working

Hi,
I have a wierd issue, recently noticed that none of my application injected context menu (menu that appears when you long press an application icon) is visible.
The standard menu option such as 'App Info' , and 'Uuinstall' are available. But things like 'My Apps' in Google Play or 'New Tab' in Chrome are not available. None of my apps have this app specific menus.
I am sure it was there for a long time and I lost it now for all apps. Looks like something changed in a Android wide setting.
I am on Pixel Experience Oreo ROM, could you please help me bring it back.
