1. Should support maximum formats possible.
2. Should support Subtitles.
3. No lagging of course
Currently I am using V Player !!
I have searched in the market, but none was good except for Rockplayer

Hello Guys..
Suggestions please I tried almost 20 apps from market in last two days but could not find any good app to watch movies of high quality on my x10i
I find moboplayer the best player so far. It plays a lot of formats and it supports subtitles too. It also plays high quality videos with no or minimum lag.
subtitles
RockPlayer 1.0.28
Arcmedia, it's no frills, but has worked with every media i've thrown at it, just don't be retarding your cpu and it works a treat

I'm using 0.34b and it does support them, look at the settings menu, you need to switch subtitles on and they must be in srt format, but it works, no problem!

Hey everyone just noticed that the recent update to the popular VPlayer has made it so it now supports the Atrix. This is definitely one of my favorite media players

I just downloaded and tried. Video looks pretty good but everything is playing back in slow motion, including audio, when playing an mp4.

Full flash is very useful on youtube because most videos are absent from the app and mobile version
Flash player version 10.3 was also posted here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1309406
For me 10.2 and 10.3 work the same, I can't change the resolution to lower it. Whjen using 360p the video has a very low framerate, but at least audio works well!
Is anyone able to set the resolution to 240p? Even going to "playback settings" and setting quality to low didn't help.
Nice. It finally works fine on my device.
Thanks!!! It's great!!!!!
10.3 increases compatibility. Now I can play BBC iPlayer content and video feeds on BBC News. Also, the BBC iPlayer app now displays the first frame of video - on 10.2 it didn't even get that far.
Gotta get this THx for sharing
Flash 10.3 is available as well for ARMv6

Winamp is a good and free player: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5udWxsc29mdC53aW5hbXAiXQ..
Don't know if it plays wma though, you should test that

Hmm well, I'm sure PowerAMP will play them, it's a really good player but the downside is that it doesn't come for free . A player that might also be able to play the files is Doubletwist but someone wrote this about it on a forum:
On the Android app, this varies depending on the device as doubleTwist uses the system libraries for playback. Some devices such as the Droid 2 and the Droid X come with WMA support while other devices do not.
Thanks,
Henry

if you don't want to spend the money and the above player doesn't work you could also consider converting the wma files to a playable format depending on how many files you have. Hope this helps
Ok but one last question: i searched a lot, so i may ask: Is there any free converter

Looks Good..
Just download Bs player from market. No lag at all, just install it first then it will tell you which codecs you have to install

Its better to convert it to an mpeg4(.mp4) 320x240. No need to install apps. Thats my method.
Hi, I'm running HepHappys port of CM9 for the LG O1. My problem is this: when I take videos the video in the view finder is jittery. When I playback any video, either imported from a computer or taken with the phone camera it says "sorry, this video could not be played do to an error". I have tried using multiple media players to no avail. YouTube pays fine although idk about HQ. If I flash back to CM7 no problems. I've tried playing videos taken in CM7 while running CM9 and still no playback. I had the same problem on AOKP. Does any one else have this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

you are facing this problem becasue we are unable to get openmax codecs for full hardware acceleration . so if you record video it will b laggy and if you play hd video it could not be played . if you cant compromise with this problem then i suggest you to stuck with gingerbread because it is better than ics on our phones .

Try using mx player with armv6 codec, both found in the Google play store

Every ics thread shows this problem and its discussed at length in all of them. No driver from qualcomm. Nothing you can do except software decoding.

Thanks guys! I thought that was the problem.
I tried MX media player and now I can play videos! Thanks
Sorry for creating an unnecessary thread, I've looked through several ics forums and I guys I just missed it.
Thanks
