TG01 debug modes, this is dependant on the rom you have on your device, most TG01 roms can use these power on key combinations to get debug information.
Power on holding down camera key, this will lead to a white screen stating TEST MODE 3G TG01W, you can use camera button and volume up and down to print characters at bottom of screen
Debug Mode
Hit reset button on back of device under battery cover, while holding down camera button and volume DOWN button. Once you have chosen an option below, and saved your choice, you will be able to use the power button, volume down and camera combination to bring up debug mode until you choose option 3 which disables the option again until you use the reset button combination mentioned above.
You will get 3 options:
0:TSA Only
1:TSA+UART
2:A+UART+QXDM
3:None
Use volume up/down to select mode and press camera key to save then power on.
A very recent version of QXDM can be downloaded form here
Drivers reported to be working for the TG01 are attached below
A brief explanation of what QXDM is can be found here
Some screenshots of QXDM (taken from Qualcomm website)

Must be system diagnostics and debugging, but special software would be required, QXDM being one i found. I do not have my usb cable handy to try it though.

QXDM could be used to test radio performance for example, however i don't know much about the debug mode to be honest, i just answered the OP's question.
To turn TG01 in TestMode, it's OK, but i don't have this usb driver for QXDM. you have this driver?

Plug phone to pc and wait for drivers to install, then restart phone in debug mode and wait for drivers to install, does that work?
Or if that doesn't work for you, try activesync, there are no special drivers needed. Just TG01 modem driver.
Doesn't work.
Active Sync work in normal mode. In test mode, my windows would the qualcomm cdma technologie MSM driver. i install this driver but don't work.
I don't find the correct driver for test mode.
Sorry for my poor english.

Try getting your phone to work as a modem first. That should install the modem drivers you need.
Connect via your USB cable, then go Start/Programs/Internet Sharing. Set the upper box to USB and the lower to whichever cell connection you are using, then just hit the 'Connect' soft key. First time, your PC will load the necessary drivers, to it will take some time, but once done, it will show 'Connected' on the mobile's screen.
I tried several roms for testing the debug mode:
no debugmode or other keys to press at boot:
miROM8 [GER] 20.10. RADIO (5005.1800.05)
miROM8 [GER] 01.04.11 RADIO (0300)
miROM8 [GER] 01.04.11 RADIO (5005.1700.05)
debugmode ok at booting:
miROM1_rel. 5 [GER] RADIO (5007.0000.0321)
miROM1_rel. 6 [ENG] RADIO (5007.0000.0321)
miROM8 [GER] 01.04.11 RADIO (5007.0000.0321)
...seems that the radioversion is responsible for this feature.
I also tried serveral drivers...HTC Diag Driver is working, if u add the tg01-ids:
%OEMDevice02% = OEMPort02, USB\VID_05C6&PID_3200&MI_00
%OEMDevice02% = OEMPort02, USB\VID_05C6&PID_3200&MI_01
%OEMDevice02% = OEMPort02, USB\VID_05C6&PID_3200&MI_02
At boot I can switch to the debugmenu (reset button while holding down camera and volume DOWN button). Then I can choose 0-9,A,B,C,D...Z !!!
The camerabutton stores my option and switchs to the 2nd place. So I can choose an 2./3./4./.... option. With the "Z-option" I can delete all settings.
But if I store something with camerakey, exit with powerkey, I cant (!) switch the debugmode unter windows :-(
I tried Power on holding down camera key / Power on holding down camera key + volume DOWN / dial ##3424# or something else....
Perhaps I have a "bad" rom? Any idear?

Yes, good idea
played with my tg01 :
Booting normal : Driver "Windows Mobile-based Devie" (USB\VID_0930&PID_0D57)
Power On + Hold Vol UP : Boots Win (somethimes hangs), Driver "USBDBG KITL for MSM7200A WM7" (USB\VID_045E&PID_0301), goole for "USB RNDIS Function Driver"
Power On + Hold Vol Down : FW Flash (caution, if u have a flashfile on your SD...you cant abort this!!!)
Power On + Hold Camera : black screen, white LED, Driver "Toshiba DL" (USB\VID_0930&PID_0D80), Driver can be found in TG-Downloader
Power On + Hold Vol Up + Hold Camera : Master Clear / Factory Settings (you can abort this later)
Power On + Hold Vol Down + Hold Camera : Test Mode Screen, Driver (USB\VID_05C6&PID_3200&MI_00, USB\VID_05C6&PID_3200&MI_01, USB\VID_05C6&PID_3200&MI_02), HTCDiagDrivers?
i used the drivers from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=697487 and added under "[models]" in htcdiag.inf these 3 lines :
%OEMDevice02% = OEMPort02, USB\VID_05C6&PID_3200&MI_00
%OEMDevice02% = OEMPort02, USB\VID_05C6&PID_3200&MI_01
%OEMDevice02% = OEMPort02, USB\VID_05C6&PID_3200&MI_02
...dont know, if this is working. The XP-Devicemanager says, that everything is fine.

Something has happened to my TG01... sometimes when i boot normally, it keeps freezing and going into the debug mode... is this due to the new kitchen?

If its the white screen debug mode that displays your imei etc, then follow instructions to induce debug mode in post 2, choose 3 with the volume up down and camera buttons and then when you soft reset your phone again it should not appear.

3. When System Properties opens, click on the Hardware tab.
4. Once in the Hardware tab, click on Device Installation Settings.
5. Once the Device Installation Settings window has appeared, click on the radio button next to No, let me choose what to do.
6. Once No… has been selected, there will be three new options that appear below the previously selected choice. Click on Never install driver software from Windows Update. The check-marked box next to Automatically get the device app and info provided by your device manufacturer can be left checked.
7. Once all the changes have been made, click on Save Changes to save all the settings changed on that screen and then the screen will close.
8. Once back to the System Properties window, Click OK to save changes and close out of System Properties.
Once you have followed this tutorial, you have to follow another tutorial so that your OS can install Unsigned drivers, follow this tutorial.

Now you are ready to install USB VCOM driver.
Download driver from links given below:
For Window XP, Vista and Windows 7 (Thanks to bhargav1991): http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1786965&d=1362676523
For Windows 8 (Thanks to Kumar Abhishek): http://www.mediafire.com/?7yee2of64nhl947
1. Take the battery, SD card and SIM out of the phone
2. Open device manager (on computer search it or control panel)
3. Holding volume+ connect it to PC via USB (once you hear a sound from PC you can release Volume +)
4. In other devices MT65xx Preloader
7. Right click MT65xx Preloader
8. Go to update driver
9. Locate the drivers provided according to your OS (XP, Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8)
10. And let it do its work.
You might have to reboot your system after installing VCOM driver, to confirm connect your device once again without battery and see if you something like "MediaTek PreLoader USB VCOM Port" means your driver is installed properly if you still see "MT65xx PreLoader" you have to repeat the process.
Remember the hardware in the Device Manager is visible for few secs only.
Any solution for this?
Thanks for this!
It does install the driver correctly but i still cannot flash...
In the hardware manager i cannot see it, only when i select "see hidden devices".
Even when my telephone is connected, it will show in the driver description: the device is currently not connected.

That is adb driver, You don't have to worry about adb driver, you don't require it for flashing.

It is not the problem of driver, your Scatter file is of some different device, either download stock ROM from Moulinsky or make one using MTK droidtool.

My system is win 7 ulmate 32 bit.
How to enable installation of unsigned drivers?
The tut is for win 8, and for 64 bits.
I followed a command prompt method of " bcdedit....checks" (for win 7 /64 bit) but it did not work.
I downloaded the vcom drivers for win 7 uploaded by bharghav 1991 but on installation the system said it could not install the file because it was an INF file.
On one occasion I got the preloaded installed, which said I was good to proceed ,but nothing happened.
I have tried all the sp tools and drivers available on the internet as administrator.
My device SD and desk top have turned to virtual grave yards of software souls.
AndI am getting nowhere.
I also tried the battery in method mentioned above .
Thanks in advance

for the sole purpose of rooting my lenovo a 7000, i have installed win 8.
the drivers with the device just dont install,no matter i give auto run etc.
then I pull the battery out and pressing vol up connect my device. the click sound does not come.
and there are just too many drivers. which one should i update?
I'm on the same boat as everyone, the Windows 7 drivers do not work.
Device: LG-D325
I tried rooting, unlocking bootloader, and installing custom rom (this link).
I successfully gained root & unlocked bootloader. Than it all went down.
I flashed recovery and booted into it, using "fastboot boot recovery.img" command.
I flashed cm12.1 and after that I got the "purple screen" error.
When phone is off and I try to normally turn it on:
1st screen:
Code:
Secure booting error!
Cause: boot certification verify
2nd screen:
Code:
DemiGod Crash Handler : DBI Err Fatal!
Board Rev.: 1.0
Ram dump mode.
Option : SD card ram dump mode.
Push below files to sd card before test.
rdcookie.txt, rtcookie.txt
Please do following action.
1) Ram dump Mode. Please connect USB.
2) Get the ram dump image using QPST Configuration.
3) If sdcard ram dump enabled just wait for reboot.
4) Collect ramdump files from your pc or sdcard.
5) Send e-mail to [email protected]
The same happens when I plug in the USB cable when phone shut off.
Also, I cannot enter the fastboot menu (previously I could - before flashing CM12.1 via recovery) using volume UP + power buttons. Therefore, I cannot enter recovery.
Any info on this situation?

Use the test point method. It works very well and it's quite easy. But first I recommend you try "LG Flash Tool 2014" . If that works, no need to open up the phone for test point method. If you are already seeing pink screen demigod error DBI fatal error, no need to go for JTAG I think.
Feel free to ask if you need assistance for testpoint method. I have already published the method for few other people here on XDA. A little search will bring you there

I think you are referring to the famous "purple screen" mode. Relax, that is not hard to get pass.
Follow the steps below.
But, be warned, I am not responsible for any damage caused by following these methods.
Your phone's battery has to be charged at least 50%.
You'll need a USB "data" cable. The one came with your phone is the best. Some third party cables have only power lines connected in and they will not work. So, make sure you have the "data" cable.
1. First, we have to install the necessary drivers(I am assuming that you're using a Windows PC) .
Here are the drivers. Download, install and give your PC a restart.
2. Download LG flash tool 2014 from here and extract it to your root directory(For example, drive "C " in your PC )
3. Download the firmware file for your specific phone model. In your case, as you have mentioned, it is LG D325. This is a link to a matching firmware for LG L70 D325. This file is big and its around 920MB. After download, extract the zip file to the folder where you copied the LG Flash tool 2014.
4. I hope the above mentioned steps were followed correctly and you're ready now. Remove your battery, press the power button for 5-10 seconds and then re insert the battery. press the volume up button and plug the USB cable(The other end has to be plugged in first to PC. Refer to this video if you are unclear.
5. Now launch "LG Flash tool 2014.3.exe" (right click on it and select "run as administrator" for best results).
6. Once the program is open, and click on 1 and select your kdz file which you got from the step 3. Then click either "Normal Flash(2)" of "CSE Flash".
{

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
7. Now another window will appear and click "Start" as in this picture.
wait until the program finishes and once done, you'll get the initial setup screen on your phone with a greeting message.
If you're still unclear, please pass a comment. Happy communicating..
For a week now,i have been trying to troubleshoot these issues and they ended up in vain.
The problem occurred, when i first tried to flash CM recovery ,i Typed in "FASTBOOT oem unclock",then everything went into this havoc.
The the phone ,boots into Fastboot mode Only when i press the (Vol Urip+power).

Sure.
As the Post above mentioned (in the first comment) ,thats the way to go to fix a Hard bricked / bootloop stuck / no Display.
But if you encounter any problems or issues like i did (the QualCom 9008 ...).I did these
Note : all downloads for this adventure are already present in that guide ,Give it a thumbs up after you fix it as it just recovered a potato , link
HTML:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-x/general/guide-mega-unbrick-guide-hard-bricked-t3272108
Step 1: Requirements
Download the qualcom drivers,fastboot-adb all of that, even though i had them installed,i did a clean installation.
Download the Huge 800MB file (the Recovery tool).
Unzip them to the Desktop, 2 folders (1 for the Qualcomm driver, another for the msm).
Step 2: Set-up
Follow the turning off drive signature process from the post above ,Its fairly simple(press shift restart,advanced,f7 restart).
Install adb-drivers.
Switch off phone (press Power Button for 12 sec or so )till it vibrates and display is blank.
Press the Power Up button and plug in the Phone to your comp
If your Internet connection is turned on,mostly windows will itself download and install the driver(qualcom-xxx) for this device.
Step 3:
Now Unplug the phone.Switch it off(your display will be blank ,to begin with but remove phone press power button 12 sec (wait for vibrate )
Press power button up and plug it back in the comp. When you do this navigate to the Device manager tab ,A new entry in that table will be present Ports & Coms or so. If you dont have this ,no worries (go back to the First step and try to get your drivers re-Installed) .
Now that you have located your com port, RELINK HS-USB QDLOADER 9008(com3) in my case( you might have anything else ,but getting this is crucial).
On that Entry right click and go to Properties. In properties > Driver Tab > Update Driver
Once you click Update, Click on Browse my comp for driver
Then Click on LET ME PICK FROM A LIST
UNCHECK the SHOW COMPATIBLE HARDWARE // Have to do this !
Under Manufacturer,FIND Qualcomm Incorporated
Under MODEL,Select QUALCOMM HS- USB MSM DIAGNOSTICS xxxx (i chose the first entry,BUT MSM is integral).
Install that .RESTART COMP,IT'll PROMPT.
UNPLUG PHONE ,SWITCH OFF ,Press POWER UP+ for 12sec
Reconnect to the comp ,now your DEVICE MANAGER will show your port ENTRY as QUALCOMM HS-USB MSM DIAGNOSTICS
Click on that entry and Click on Properties > Driver >Update >Browse my comp >
Now select the folder in which you have downloaded the Qualcomm drivers x64 or x86 (from the post above ,you should have downloaded them in the beginning).
Now install that , If it asks for an Restart COMP ,RESTART comp( i restarted, just to be safe).
Step 4 : Completion
Connect the phone in fastboot mode(Just the power up+ & connect )
msm.exe > open in admin mode.
Open up the MSM.exe in the folder (the big file that you downloaded earlier the 800MB one )
It will recognize your device,If it doesn't.
Unplug Phone.
Power Off
Power Up+ ,wait 10sec ,and Plug in ,(hold the power up)
MSM.exe will recognise your device, Try to click start on that and see if it triggers it ,else just close and reopen msm.exe
Your device will be recognised Press Start, it'll do the rest.
After all this,a recovery mode will show up,click yes/ no and Continue.

Do remember this twrp recovery will only work on Android 6.0 :cyclops:
Twrp takes takes about 1-2 minutes to boot up as it has to time out the screen once to turn on the display(bug in twrp) in that time don't press anything or tap on the screen or the timeout will reset, after waiting for 1 minute(screen time out time) press power key and it should show the twrp recovery :highfive:
and yeah after flashing twrp, please flash SuperSu or Magisk or you'll face bootloop :silly:

great , what happened really
Hello to all ZenFone4 (ZE554KL) owners.
(I am not good at English so I use DeepL translation.)
I would like to backup the data of an app, please lend me your wisdom.
Here is the app that has the problem.
小説を読もう!オフラインリーダー - Apps on Google Play
More convenient, comfortable! "Restaurant novel!" And "Shousetsukaninarou"
play.google.com
This app is an offline reader for a famous Japanese novel submission site.
I have been using this app since 2014 until now.
But recently I had a problem with data backup.
This app is originally equipped with a backup function.
However, if the file size of the database (SQLite3) used internally exceeds 2GB, the backed up data is interrupted there.
Also, until now, it was possible to backup using the Android adb backup function and retrieve the data from backup.ab to get the same data even if the file size exceeded 2GB.
But now this method also stops in the middle of the backup and fails.
This app has not provided any updates since 2018.
Also, I have not been able to contact the developer by sending an email to their email address.
I thought about rooting the device and backing it up, but I have not been able to do so because I have heard (with Android in general) that unlocking the bootloader will initialize all user data.
Is there any good way to do this?
Thank you for reading this far.

あるアプリのデータのバックアップを行いたいのですが知恵を貸してください。
問題があるアプリはこれです。
小説を読もう!オフラインリーダー - Apps on Google Play
More convenient, comfortable! "Restaurant novel!" And "Shousetsukaninarou"
play.google.com

It's ok, I was pressing Volume + and - at the same time.
Unfortunately, it didn't go into EDL mode, though.
I'm sure it's a security delight, but it's a shame that it seems to be really difficult to freely play with one's own devices in recent years.
I really respect aIecxs for his erudition.
Even the modified fastboot command reboot-edl didn't work.
I don't have a deep flash cable, but I have an adapter that can pull each signal line from USB Type-C, so I will try that tomorrow.
I've changed the battery several times, so I have disassembled it, but I don't really want to use the test-point if possible because I might accidentally destroy the device.

改造したfastbootコマンドのreboot-edlでもダメでした。
deep flashケーブルは有りませんが、USB Type-Cの各信号線を引き出せるアダプタを持っているので明日それを使って試してみます。

I substituted the EDL cable with an adapter like the one in the image, but it did not enter EDL mode.
(I used a digital multimeter to verify that the wiring was correct.)
I will try again at a later date as it requires preparation and courage to disassemble and short-circuit the test points.

We have succeeded in avoiding BackupManager crashes by specifying the -nocompress option in adb backup,
