Exactly what it says in the title. Im running an unlocked dell streak on the regular o2 2.2. Never had this problem with 1.6 or 2.1. The apps literally encounter an 'error' and then comes up with the popup to force close. Its just become annoying more than anything. Any help is much appreciated. And sorry if this is a repost

Hi there I'm running Bionix with all the updates and just recently began receiving periodic SyncML DM failure notifications. I haven't changed any setting and haven't downloaded any apps. I am just wondering if anybody else has experienced this, what it means, will it iron itself out, just in general what's the skinny. Thanks in advance I appreciate it.
Update: not sure what caused it but two reboots solved it so far. I'm still not sure what would cause it and will try to reproduce it. If anybody gas any info I would appreciate it.

same here it started last night after watching youtube and leaving it on pause

I'm on Bionix V and mine started this AM. I must have closed the message 10x already. What is it? How can I stop it?

also getting this on Bionix 1.2.1, started about 30 mins ago, rebooted, now I'm getting a message in the notification bar saying "Device Management, Connecting to DM server..."
Use titanium backup pro and freeze the Device Manager 2.0 process. Its for ota updates, which you will want to stay away from if you're using bionix and voodoo.

Hi,
I am on Steve's 1.61 and whether I make or receive calls it always force closes and says no similar card. After a while everything becomes normal again. Has anyone been experiencing this and how did you resolve it please ?

If you're using a screen density other than stock (160), the phone app will crash... it sucks, and there's no solution right now, Steve said he was working on CM6 again for the Streak 5, I'm sure it would be more stable when that gets fully ported.

I'm having this very same issue with StreakDroid 1.9 and my lcd density is 160. I never changed it. There has to be more people with this similar issue.

Ever since I updated to 2.2.2, this happens. I call someone (first call of day after a reboot) they can not hear me at all. Then I call them back and they hear me just fine. Any ideas? It just seems like that first call is all screwed up.

I had that same problem. Among other problems. So I'm back on 318. Contacts disappearing and showing only numbers on 351 was it for me

Try turning on your speaker while you are calling.
When your friend answers, you can still talk on your speaker or turn it off to normal call.

I did a factory reset and that fixed it.
Got stock 2.2 unlocked streak 5 and for some strange reason I've stopped getting text delivery reports. Done a cold reboot, selected and deselected options but no joy.
Anyone got any advice ?

Which options did you selected/deselected??
Try menu>settings>Request delivery reports in stock messaging app.
If you are using a third party app(Go SMS, Chomp etc) for messaging then check for any conflicts.
Might be a issue with your carrier as well, cause have seen in past that sometimes its network issues as well, can't confirm though!!

My DS5 does it to running power rom evergreen this also happens on data and wifi.
Edit: changed to dolphin mobile from dolphin hd and it corrected my problem.

expierincing the same problem on gingerstreak 2.4.4 so i switched to Opera

may have to change browsers i get the same issue, it takes a couple minutes for the browser to display the page for me

I sadly do (although I'd rather not) I am having, more than random hiccups, some app crashes when loading pic-heavy pages. not really an actual crash because the browser simply quits without the usual error message
Oooo, mine won't crash out just takes a minute to load then works as it should after that...I do recall that happening on some of the first GB roms though and believe ithad something to do with the ui/ua(?) Strings, maybe read through the earlier DJ Steve/fards threads it's in there somewhere
