is it possible to port radio-fm for cm6.1?
Pretty sure, officially it wont be added, since development of CM6 is over. You will probably have to find a way yourself or ask someone experienced enough to have a look at it. Don;t know whether it is possible or not though.
tnx for reply
i try to port it from cm7.0
but it dosnt add like an app
i try to port from wildpuzzle...i port it successfully/but it has f.c eror
what should i do to use fm-radio?
Switch ROM's? Wildpuzzle one will obviously not work since it is an HTC App and they work only in Sense based ROM's, not AOSP ROMs like CM. Also, since you say you tried porting CM7's FM, and failed, maybe it is designed for Gingerbread only or something. (Just guessing here)
tnx again
so its not possible to port radio-fm to cm6.1.
isnt it?
So there's fm radio in cm7?

Hi! I just found this one: Gingerbread build with Sense from HTC Huashan
Do you think our Devs can port this to our X10i? Or is there still the problem with X10's non-standard libraries or whatever the problem with jerpelea's last Sense port was?
Sorry if this is BS. In this case, just delete the thread.
Cheers

Ok, thx.
Also got PM from jerpelea. He actually has that ROM for some days already (I'm not surprised ) but it's totally useless since the HTC Huashan uses a Texas Instruments processor and we need a build from a Qualcomm device.
Mods, please close this thread.
Is it possible to port the Gingerbread MIUI over to the Aria? or even just the notification pulldown?
Cm7 is gingerbread ... look through the themes and apps threads and I think there is a theme for 2.2 if you don't want to flash cm7.. you may need cm6 though, I can't remember

CM7 is a Gingerbread Android OS based off AOSP.
However, MIUI... is MIUI; different ROMs. He's not asking for CM7.
As far as MIUI is concerned, you could try.

If they did, I would be on it. So no.
You CAN however, try to make it look like MIUI. The analog clock, the icons..ect.
Funny that you ask... I'm actually trying but I really don't know what I'm doing
Idk why i completely looked over the miui part lol... they ported it to the nexus one, the nexus s, the hd2, and the milestone, I don't see why it wouldn't be able to be ported to the aria either, it would be fantastic if it was

those are all hdpi devices liberty is mdpi that is the problem
i seen the pngs are converted somwhere but that only part of it
Yeah and its only running on armv7 devices too. I think that's a big issue too.
I was really just testing out the ROM kitchen and seeing how much of a port it could do.
I also tried porting a hero froyo ROM (another gsm armv6 device) and apparently I am not smart enough to figure it out yet.
yeah porting is....yeah
from experience just need a compatible kernel
and then come the modules that are for that kernel, the hard part why i gave up on the espresso port

I was just looking for that thread! I couldn't remember who it was and was wanting to ask them how they managed to get it booted. I guess a mod must have deleted "dead" threads because I was looking for the cm6 build with fm radio for the floyo hero port and couldn't find it either :/
If it was just some dragging and dropping or editing some text files I could probably handle it. Or possibly if I knew what a tmp boot.img was... or status 0... or status 7...
You devs simply amaze me.
And since I'm already rambling.... has any one ever, or is it even possible to, build an aosp ROM from source for the liberty?
Yeah, MIUI is cool but the HDPI/MDPI thing and the ARMv6 kills chances of getting a port. Oh well. I love CM.
An AOSP ROM would be too close to CM for most people/devs to put the time in, in my opinion.

MIUI... the mod that looks like the iPhone? Any links to pics?
Google it. There are some good YouTube walk-through videos of it. Essentially its a bad ass combo of Android and iOS.

seriously, you're requesting yet another sense port, when we still haven't gotten a very functional port yet?
Lol I guess a group of dev should get together and work on it

Might be easier with the newer versions of Sense seeing as how less intrudive it is on an OS level. That said i'm sure its still a PITA.

Yes it is another sense rom.. but i actually think it would be easier since a newer version of it (as said).. looks way nicer as well
Its not likeim demanding it or anything.. just seeing if anybody would be up to it.. even tho the phone IS suppose to he better then the sgs2.. i guess the ROM parr of it doesnt make a difference.. more of other things

Hello Flashmaniacs
For those who don't know RCTeam, we have been around since htc Magic (sapphire) we were on Hero Desire DesireHD, and made roms like the first sense 3 on desire HD, aria to hero and sapphire, we do stock roms, but we are strong on ports, the real cooking, everyone can throw something on a ruu and release a rom, we enjoy the fun of making something run on the phone that was not meant to.
This rom is based on Bliss WWE ruu
no chinese leak

It also would be impossible to fit a rom the size of the sense 3.5 or 3d on our system partition. Someone would have to cut it in half.

Hello guys, I'll be brief. Possible that there is no updated ROM and free of bugs? If you install the 2.3.3 with sense we have the problem of wifi, if you install the cyanogen we have no sense. If we opt for a stable where everything works we are forced to go to 2.2, type Blayo.
May not be able to have a rom with sense and updated with bugs away?
We can resign ourselves? At this point I sell my htc the first bidder.
I heard about the htc rom explorer, but where?
Thanks to all.
I think that if you would use the 32 kernel with ogos rom you would not have any reboots
