I came from a fascinate and we used to be able to get the google music sync to work on it. I was curious if anyone had tried it on the Thunderbolt yet and to see if it worked?

Hi all. I have been trying to get the HTC hero music player and mail apps to work on my SGS (running Bionix Fusion 1.1/JACS UV/OC Kernel.... which is FRIGGIN' AWESOME) because I use my music player all day long. However, I have been totally unsuccessful. Does anyone out there know (and is willing to) modify these app for use on the vibrant?
I am attaching a zip with the music and mail apps and corresponding widgets from the Hero CDMA for you to use. I will keep trying but I am totally inexperienced in doing this sort of thing but would love to learn or figure it out.
I was looking through techblogs and found this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=980018 where they were able to use Google's as of yet unannounced cloud music service, but on rooted 2.3 using the 3.0 music player. I was wondering if this would work for our Fascinates on 2.2 or if anyone's tried it yet
edit: after posting this, this thread showed up http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=984228
I tried downloading the apk for this, but it would not install.. anyone else having luck? The new Music.apk is posted in android development.
I've got an issue.
I've had no problem with Netflix before this; but after upgrading, when I use any newer Netflix app I get sync problems. If I use and old apk then the audio is sync'd up fine but I get the green band at the top of the screen.
Has anyone run across this issue and has a fix for it?
Hey all I've been trolling round these forums for quite some time and now it's time to post. But before that I just want to say thanks to everyone for all the information, coding, and testing you provide! You all rock!
Ok, now that I've buttered you up a bit, I was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing issues with streaming MP3's from Amazon's Cloud player. I've been searching the "interwebs" and only found a post by tbhausen that is close to my issue - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1222597&highlight=streaming+mp3 Some people on the androidforums mentioned they had the same issue, but I haven't seen an responses on if there is a fix for it.
Basically if I'm listenting to music via Amazon MP3's cloud player, I can usually play 2 - 3 songs before the program locks up my entire phone and I need to reboot. I was hoping it might be fixed, or work better with the recent OTA M-5 update but I ran into the issue again after I updated. This time, however, I was able to at least get to my home screen and access the phone menus and apps normally with the exception of Amazon MP3 and the stock Music Player.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I just wait until either Google, Amazon, or Motorola push the next update? I'm really starting to worry because I'm loving this phone, minus those issues but it's enough of a reason enough for me to exchange it for the Evo 3D. Thoughts?
Thanks in advance!
Im having the same problems. I got fed up and switched back to google music beta for now. Ive fired off a few emails to amazon explaing my issues. Hopefully things get resolved soon.
