I thought a thread dedicated to screen protectors would be a great part of the forum, as i am sure many people will be interested in them
Lets all list ours and where they were bought from ie; condition being clear, anti glare etc;
Im looking into boxwave as i did for my wizard even though they are quite expensive
Here's a link to get half price invisible shields
http://www.zagg.com/showspecial
Zagg is the manufacturer of these skins, you can get a full body for $12 with the above link =)
look in cellphones>tmobile>wing
I have this on my ipod and it's great, for now I'm still using the stock tmobile screen protector along with a boxwave armor case. The boxwave case has a hard screen protector to prevent lcd cracks.
If you decide to go with the hard case here is a cheaper place than boxwave:

These are mine:
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.3805
Nothing to complain about... works perfectly, cristal clear and comes with cleaning "cloth" and instructions.... besides... $1.35 + free shipping... really hard to beat that price.
I purchased two of them and the first one still looks like new after lots of stylus usage... some of my friends bought some after seeing mine.
Hope it helps.
Anyone have the invisible shield full body protection?
great suggestions, keep it up everybody
the invisible sheild looks great, may have to try that. the full case is a mere investment at keeping the phone in pristine stock condition without anybody knowing you have it on
however at $1.35 for a crystal clear protector that is at least buying to try.
edit: zagg expired
Screen protectors and leather pouches are available on the bay. Am still looking out for plastic/vinyl protective cases. Do post if you find any!
A desktopcradle should be available within 2 weeks from kigidi.com
hopefully there will be protectors large enough to protect the lower brushed metal finishing.
On the HTC Accesoires shop site are some screenprotectors for Touch2.
HTC Touch2 Screen Protector SP P320 (2 stuks, Retail Pack)
You got to change site language probably.
Protector from PDair.com seems is a good choice, as I have serch for several shops online, the comments from PDair are always positive, and with reasonable price
My thoughts
After trying some "6 for 1.99" rubbish off ebay, I bought a Folix anti-reflective one through Amazon. Unfortunately, this was not very good - just not clear enough, and made evrthing blurred. Nice people at Folix sent me an ultra-clear one instead, and this is excellent for about £3 from Amazon.
I can confirm! I bought a FX-Clear Protection by Folix on Amazon UK and it looks great till now
i wanna order an Ultra-clear or whatever screen protector from PDAir , what's the trick with the shipping ? is it free ?
Dude, go to ebay and write HTC Touch 2 Fingerprint, you will see those from Hong Kong seller, they are great and no fingerprints on them, shipping is free
Just so nobody actually does what the previous poster suggested, I did what he suggested and bought from the Hong Kong seller and it was horrible
It blurred the screen resolution really badly and felt really bad quality. Plus, there were heaps of air bubbles.
I bought an Invisible Shield from ZAGG for the Touch2 and the results are mixed. It does go on with no air bubbles and it's as clear as not having anything on there. Unfortunately, it's quite thick and a bit rubbery, and i've noticed its made the phone harder to use.
Anybody have a good alternative?
I am also using Invisible Shield, I have no problems in using the touchscreen with invisible shield applied.
Try "Brando" brand.
using capdase here. Wanted the anti-fingerprint version but apparently that time i was looking for it, it got sold out =/
Guys i just ordered a Pdair Ultra Clear Screen Protector for HTC Touch2.Will share the results soon
Hi all:
Does anyone have any suggestions for good screen protectors for the Tilt2 off of Ebay?
I know there are a number of name brand ones which are good, but I have an Ebay gift certificate, so I'd like to buy from there if possible. I can't seem to find any of the good name brand ones on ebay, so I was hoping someone may have tried one of the ones that are available on there.
Suggestions would really be appreciated.
Thanks!
PS: I am currently using the one that came with the phone, and I was happy with its quality, but it has gotten quite scratched up, quickly, so I need to replace it.

Extremely easy to apply, barely any bubbles/air pockets to be seen. My screen looks like it doesn't even have one on.
Or you could try this link. I ordered mine, but I didn't received them yet so I don't have pictures to upload, but they look sharp

I've always ordered screen protectors from Clarivue. The one I put on my Palm TX 4 years ago is still on it. They're durable.
As to ebay, the seller I've always used for clarivues is JHongs. They currently don't have protectors for the Tilt 2 listed, but the last time I asked them to list one they didn't have up, they happily did so.
Just message them, give them the link to the Tilt 2 clarivue (linked above), tell them you're ready to buy, you heard they would list it for you, and I'll betcha in 48 hrs your new screen protector will be on the way.
I bought ebay item #250541670275. It only cost $2.98, it shipped from California, and I had it within a week. They fit the tilt 2 VERY nicely, and I can't tell there's anything on the screen. Buy it!
Thanks so much to everyone who replied!
I will definitely be ordering one of the ones suggested in this thread.
Thanks again!!

Is the one that comes with the phone any good?

I wouldn't call it bad, but in terms of durability it's lacking compared to clarivue or boxwave or some other name brands.
im To late
but your best bet would have been zagg. most of those cheap plasic one's only hold up for about 3 month or so. zagg hold up until u decide to take it off.
www.zaggs.com that the main site and there should be some on ebay also. i kno that you have a gift card.

Don't get this if you have a Tilt2. Just thought i'd give you a heads-up (it'sthe T-Mobile version).
If you still haven't purchased any scrren protector, you must have a look at this, although it's not on ebay it's very cheap and offers full body protection.

If it's not cheap enough use 20% discount cupone PPCSG20
I have excellent experience ordering from Amazon and HIGHLY recommending this seller - Eforcity. (I've ordered 3 protectors for my CDMA and got 8 in the package - someone was pissed to my bennefit )
Anyone using the anti-glare protector? Does it really reduce fingerprints like they are saying?

They say "scratch proof", but 3 of mine scratched.
Also, those "invisible shield" ones leave weird residue that does go away after a while, but it gets annoying.
After trying 3 types of screen protectors, I would HIGHLY suggest the regular scratch proof ones. They really work and the bubbles went away after a night of having it on.

Generally an anti-glare protector has a matte finish and generally the crystal clear ones are glossy. That's the distinction that matters in regards to fingerprints -- any glossy surface is going to be print-astic and hold on to finger oils with the jaws of life.
I have a clarivue anti-glare, and it is definitely more resistant to prints than the stock HTC protector was. But it's not magic, or even oleophobic, it's just an ordinary matte surface.
I also recommend a decent brand like boxwave or clarivue above some no-name protector if you want to be sure it's going to be durable. I used the same clarivue for 4 years on my palm TX and it was in a 100x better shape than the stock HTC protector was after a couple of weeks.
I lost my stock screen protector during my RMA, so I am looking for a nice cheap protector that doesn't form bubbles. My friend told me his Zagg/Bodyguardz is a soft plastic that forms bubbles, so something rigid like the stock one would be ideal.
How are the ones on eBay?
Or if anyone bought two or three screen protectors and wouldn't mind selling me an unused one, I'd be glad to buy that as well.
e-bay option
Hi,
I bought this ones on e-bay. I just applied one of them and it looks good. No bubbles and fits really well. It is an ATT Pure.

They are cheap and good.

I'm happy with the one that ATT sells on their website. You get 3 for ten bucks. Just as good as any other i've tried. DO NOT get Zagg! You can not slide your fingertip across the screen, I sent mine back.
I don't care for the feel of ZAGG myself. I like the merchandise and service at cellphoneshop.net I've bought batteries, headphones, cases, and other items for various phones, never a problem. /g
Thanks guys. At the first two repliers: I have a Touch Diamond2, not the Pure, which has a different shaped surface. I ended up buying the original HTC screen protector which is great.
This screenprotector fits perfectly. If you apply it properly you don't even see that you are using one.

i think it's nor good that i expect
there are many vertical line on the screen especially on the white screen
Invisible shield
I've been using the invisible shield on my phones for a couple of years and never had the issue you describe. Have you contacted them about it?
hi ppl, i wanna buy a screen protector for my x10 but... I do not know what to buy
ZAGG invisibleSHIELD
or
Steinheil Anti-Fingerprint Film for Sony Ericsson Xperia X10
i think ZAGG invisibleSHIELD is good, but expensive
http://www.amazon.co.uk/SONY-ERICSS...T1QI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1312324877&sr=8-1
They do the job for me
6-IN-1 and cheap
zagg ones are a waste of money, they feel too rubbery and have an orange peel effect when fitted.
i wouldnt use another one, nice cheap ones for me that you can just replace every other month if need be
I agree with Morbidx13. My first Zagg on previous phone was perfect but this one I got for X10 doesn't fit at all and looks terrible after just one year.

for me too
im kinda a headache with my screen guard. always tend to peeled off on the edge in weeks time,.]
I have a Zagg and I like it. Though I think it could have been a mm wider. There is a textile feel and a bit of orange peel effect but it feels great, is more responsive than the stock, while resistance to fingerprints and smudges is very good.
Sent from my X10i using XDA Premium App
I used Zagg but I hate its stickiness (and it's difficult to apply and there's some "powder" under the screen).
Clearfreak is OK (no stickiness), but you have to custom cut (use the one for motorola t). It's soft like Zagg but the surface isn't sticky.
I think hard protector is much easier to apply and it's not expensive as Zagg (lifetime replacement still costs you, so I give up). I use Reallook and it's very good (no "rainbow effect" like cheap hard protectors).
I used the screen protector that comes with the phone... works well for me... you just need to know how to apply it properly
