Is there a "X10i 2.1.A.0.435 + rooted + JIT + xRecovery" Global Generic ROM?
Something like this rom. But I don't want to have a "x10a" firmware on my x10i
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=936462
actually I have search post about the 2.1.A.0.435 firmware before I asking the question
but I am not sure if the firmware have already been rooted or not
I'm not understand what "shipped" means, etc.
So I try to hv this post to ask. Sorry for my troublesome.
Thank you very much!
It's a X10a, but when you flash 2.2.1 you'll get MT, .54 and new name : X10i
I already installed that.
Why not root and JIT yourself?
It's easy

hey 2.1.54 does this mean im using baseband 54 ?
If you r looking at your phones settings/about section and the part that says basband version said what u said, then u have .54 baseband.
Sent from XDA Premium from my X10a rooted running 2.2.1 CM Rom from Rendeiro2005
OMG what a question.

Yup, just confirmed it, stock (2.1.A.0.435), runs on bb54, and it flashes to that version no matter what you had before.
Basebands vary by region. That's basically the difference between global generic X10a and X10i firmware.
Can you be more specific?
Hi all,
I was wondering what baseband I should use if Im on A&tt with WolfBreaks Gingerbread Rom? Can I use the .54 Baseband? And I also was wondering if there was a way to strip the baseband from the Xperia Play when it launches on AT&T and we could use it on our X10s?

To use wolfs pre rooted gingerbread rom...you have to flash the ftf file that come with it in flashtool. It will be baseband .71
And yes, its ok to flash X10i firmware to a X10a. It works flawlessly.
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
This is stock kernel and baseband collection.
Hope this will help you who need to flash baseband or revert back to stock kernel, so you dont have to download full ftf firmware.
Instructions:
1. Flash it from flashtool. if you don't have or don't know about flashtool here the thread
2. Put the ftf file you've downloaded to firmware folder under flashtool folder.
3. open flashtool, click flash/electricity image and choose the ftf then flash, put your phone to flash mode (follow instructions on flashtool).
Use it with your own risk, I am not responsible if you brick your device
This is for locked and unlocked bootloader

All the files here are for MT15i .....
Can you please upload files for MT11i .....
As i know that there is not much diff in both of them in case of kernel or baseband but still if you can upload them seperatly then it will help us a lot .....
Thanks

I dont think there is any different baseband and kernel between neo amd neo v, so you can flash it on neo v as well.

Nice job AIM! I will mark this thread my near future need.
BTW a bit off topic: from your own experience, what baseband/kernel you think the best for signal?
Tks

Thanks mate
Baseband 56 from fw .42 is good for me in term of battery life but baseband 64 from fw .62 good in term of signal quality and overall quality.
And my best combination is bb 56 and stock .283 kernel.
Fyi, baseband is related to your region, what is good for me doesnt mean its good for you too.
Just give it a try.

Tks, Iwill test kernel 283 with .62 baseband

Best combination is .42 baseband + .283 kernel. Epic battery life.
Can i use .283 kernel and then still install a custom Kernel ?
How can you check the version /firmware of your kernel ?
Will the version still be .283 then ?
Im new at this ^^

You can use different baseband and kernel, not same time 2 different kernel.
Ask simply what you want to do and we help.
Etc you can use .283 baseband and .62 kernel

Please can you add kernel and baseband of 3.0.1.A.145 ??
It is the only one without the famous gps bug without data traffic.

The hardware on the Neo and Neo V isn't completely the same, Neo and Neo V have a different camera, so I think the kernel could be different for Neo and Neo V as well.

Well I am using nightElf v9 + v0.85 Tweaked ROM + .64 baseband.
I live in europe and when I enable my data connection I have battery drains.
Ive read in other topics (around here) that going to .283 kernel solves the battery drain issue ?
thanks already !

Today i flashed the 3.0.xxx baseband in my 2.3.4 with 4.0.2.a.0.62 firmware
with bad results, the boot stucks in Sony Ericsson logo, and i had to repair software with seus update .
So, don't flash old 2.3.3 baseband in new 2.3.4 firmwares !!!

You can't flash it if you not checked USB debugging mode, flashtool will refuse it.
