Hi all,
I was wondering what baseband I should use if Im on A&tt with WolfBreaks Gingerbread Rom? Can I use the .54 Baseband? And I also was wondering if there was a way to strip the baseband from the Xperia Play when it launches on AT&T and we could use it on our X10s?

To use wolfs pre rooted gingerbread rom...you have to flash the ftf file that come with it in flashtool. It will be baseband .71
And yes, its ok to flash X10i firmware to a X10a. It works flawlessly.

U have to use flashtool from the x10 android developement section. Its there. All the directions are in that link of flashtool. I use the .54 baseband. It works with most 2.2 roms and the gingerbread in my signature. Ask more if u have trouble and u can add themes

Hi,
I have a X10i with BaseBand .54 and I want install XAT CM6FROYO rom, but this rom needs baseband .55. My question is, I can upgrade my X10i for BB .55 or for X10i is a BB .58?
Sorry for my English.

Seen this before again and again
Any rom which requires either BB.55 .54 or. 58 will work with any of these 3 BB's installed
So in otherwords there is no reason to flash a newer .55/.58 as it should work on. 54

Yup, just confirmed it, stock (2.1.A.0.435), runs on bb54, and it flashes to that version no matter what you had before.
Basebands vary by region. That's basically the difference between global generic X10a and X10i firmware.
Can you be more specific?
hi i have a mt15i xperia neo, but 3g doesn´t work with my carrier (telcel méxico) my question is:
can i downgrade/switch baseband in order to work with my 3g? or how can i get my 3g working? my android version is 2.3.4
R: [Q] switch baseband
Basebands have not much difference between them. Try instead to restore stock firmware.
Anyway to change baseband you have to use flashtool. Flash baseband part from a whole firmware, from which you want your bb.

You may be more clear about this and give some information like
Do you use a custom Rom or stock firmware
