Hi, there.
Recently these 3 days I don't know what happen to my vibrant it can't locate the place with the network location after I flashed the s.gps 2 fixed for 7 days. I was on bionic 1.3. And then i thought it was internal messup so i odin back to jfd and now I'm on the Simply Honey Vibrant v1.0 and didn't flash the s. GPS fix yet. But still remain the same issue with the network determin location. Most of my weather apps using network determined the location which now they state location undefined.
Now I'm lost. Can anyone help me out? Million thanks

Try a different rom...sometimes certain apk added to rom will cause the phone to be bugged

Thanks first. But it seen just happen for two roms. It's like the network cannot locate placese without the GPS. Is really anyway to fix the A-GPS issue. I don't experience like long time ago. It just happen.

First off i asked this in the roms thread but no one would help so... This is my favorite Rom. It runs flawlessly except Gps. When i go on Google.com or Google earth i see the Gps in the notification bar trying to find the location but it always says after a while location cannot be found. everytime.

I had the same problem in macnut r10.
I dled GPS Test app, I set the app to keep the phone awake. Then let it run for 20 mins straight. rebooted and GPS was significantly better. Not as good as some of the 2.1 roms but usable.
K i just put Eugenes jk2 on my phone and GPS still doesn't work.. It worked on stock before i ever flashed any custom rom so wtf. I know a lot of roms i used before this past week didn't have the drivers but now they do and still can't find location....
Try what I suggested.
I used GPS without problems for almost a year, but recently it started showing my location 50-200 meters away from the actual location. In addition even after i switch off GPS the small icon of satellite is still displayed on the main screen near the batter icon. Any solution to it?
Do you have both boxes checked for my location under location and security in settings?

I checked both boxes, restarted but its same, wrong by few hundred meters.

I am using stock rom 2.3.3, GPS worked fine after the update, the problem started just lately.
Have you tried to reflash the stock firmware?

What this means is flash a sense based Rom. Open up Google Maps and verify your position on the map. Once it locks on, use Rom Manager to flash the new Rom.

There is a GPS fix that a guy is needing help testing out in the Developer Forum here. Look for it. It only has like 5 replies with me being 3 of them. I haven't had a chance to look at it much. But his GPS fix can be applied to any ROM and added a few more satellites to get you better positioning.
I have remove the rom ... all you guys can ask a different person to make a new port and have fun .
i know the rom have some bugs but it is 90% stable i see the some of you can't way for us to fish fixing the bugs .
the rom will be back up a soon we fix all the bugs ...
if you like roms with 100 bugs well XDA have developers with many roms with bugs

This rom is great and it runs flawlessly and stable.
Themes are pretty, i like them so much!
My first findings on this rom are:
1-memo app give me "Memory full"massage.
2-spirit lite app gives FC.
3-voice setting shows in Chinese lang.
4-arabic interface and keyboard support is missing.

Edit: It seems like their is a bug with text messaging. Every time I send a text I immediately get a pop up that says "message not sent" even though the text does go through.

how is camera and video recording? this rom support 720p recording ? is this base on 2.3 or ics android version ? cdma and gsm both working?

Same here, very smooth hope the source gets jelly bean update but no complaints. The camera app even has a built in barcode scanner.

cam/camcorder works flawlessly
SMS/mms sends receives fine
two things though
native launcher wont add double tap launching select app
need to change long press search key to choice app.causes reboot

Yes am using this on GSM. Working without an issue in that aspect.
My Wi-Fi is not so stable though keeps disconnecting sometimes
I've set the wifi sleep setting to "never" but it goes back to GSM data sometimes.
Dev, can we exclude some file managers (there are 3 now)(Users can always delete stuff.. but..).

Just use titanium backup to remove all the file managers you don't want.

I used this on my wifi, and the spoofs won't go away! I have force stopped the app, restarted my phone, deleted the app, disconnected my phone from from the wifi, and reset the router, all to no avail. Help please, my dad is very angry at me!

Try clearing the app data and if the problem persists you have to factory reset the phone.

Problem fixed! I re-downloaded the spoofer, started the spoofs again, and then stopped them. Guess the script hadn't been fully stopped.

Thank you so much! I've done what you did, i was sweating when i was troubleshooting this
problem, my cousin would punch straight to my face if he experienced that spoof.
Now i am afraid to/ spoofing again, My fault although, my cousin/administrator don't know about this
although i did follow the instruction and known those risks about this app until i applied it, the problem/bug maybe
