I see Ebuyer.com now have 61 units in stock for next day delivery only £99.99 inc free super saver delivery
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/270540
Update 22nd June 2011
Ebuyer now put price up to £199.99 WTF
the price is still a bit steep for early adopters who missed the asus keyboard offer in April....
... it certainly is steep - BUT i got mine at the weekend - it arrived from dabs.com (also 99 quid) -after waiting 3 weeks for stock to come in.... it is awesome - totally changes how I can use it. Really great. There was a firmware upgrade as soon as I first used it which I've seen discussed on other threads.
I just need to find a decent folio case for the whole thing now . . .

yeah..agree the kb dock itself is awesome..and should be a must have for most TF owners....
the battery in the dock really makes it a life changer..
not really complaining about its price...it's probably the only thing that's priced close to its US version...was hoping asus can extend its early adopter offer a bit though..
I wouldnt pay that much for it tbh, lucky i got mine originally from asus at the offer price but sold mine as apart from the extra juice it didnt suit my needs after using the tablet for a while but it is a clever way of making it hybrid.
but thinking about it when the asus case costs 39.99 retail with pdair cases going for £60, yiou do get a lot for your money and it does not seem that bad of value
I got mine separately because I wanted the 32 Gig version which isn't offered as a bundle with keyboard which is odd to say the least.
As you say the battery life now truly incredible.
Just got my dock on order with ebuyer.
Do you get a separate psu for the dock?

Down to 31 in stock now, wish I had the funds to pick up a dock. I can't wait to try out some coding for USB devices when I get one.

How to pruchase a keyboard dock from the UK to Spain
I wonder if any of you lads in the UK can help me: I live in Barcelona , Spain and I ordered my TF101 from the USA, I will get it in some days. In the online store they weren't offering the keyboard Dock , and I have tried to order it within Spain but it seems here they only sell it bundled with the tablet (16 gb or 32 gb). So far I haven't been able to find a shop (offline or online) that sells them separately, I have been looking into the ones you mention here from the UK but so far they all serve UK residents only. On ebay there are only a few merchants offering it but far too pricey (the cheapest is around 140 pounds (besides with English/Chinese keyboard layout), I would like one with either English or Spanish layout, so buying one from the UK would be just as good. Can anyone suggests me an online shop in the UK that delivers to continental Europe? (apart from ebay and Amazon of course)
Many thanks in advance!
You could try Dabs.ie, they have some on order at the moment but should be the European arm of Uk based Dabs.com.

Thanks, but that is only for Irish customers, I found out they only serve UK and Ireland. But thanks anyway for answering!
Just checked ebuyer and they have 9 left but put 100 pound on the price. I bought mine for 99 pound on tuesday night and they are now 199 pound. What a scam unless it is a typo
https://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/ASUS_OEM_EeePad_Transformer_TF101_Dockin_1098373.html
They have 10 left after my order at just under £100 plus p+p. Spoke to them on phone. They are not in retail packaging because they have been split from packages of the 16gb Transformer with keyboard where customers wanted the Transformer only. They still have the normal warranty.
Goodness only knows how much longer I would have to wait for the keyboard in retail packaging. I was told another week but anticipated dates have proved rather unreliable.
I have dealt with them before and they have been very helpful.
Hope this helps someone else in the UK who does not want to wait any longer.

i have a UK keyboard dock ready for shipping if anyone still needs one. £150.00 retail boxed brand new.
Its Gone Now
Just wanted to make sure you guys know first . . .
HP is currently clearing out their inventory. You can get a Touchpad now for $99. I'd jump on it before they all disappear.

Now if some enterprising developer would just port Android onto this thing!
im thinkin about buying 1 too
did you buy it in the hp website? and does it have an expandeble memory lol

Hell ya! Am trying to buy one asap. doesnt matter if we couldn't get a honeycomb on it, the community(we) cud surely mod it somehow.
Worth the price as of now.
Is it available in Europe?
As far as europe, the EU should wait until the fire sale is officially announced, which by then all the major retailers including amazon should have slashed their price. The sale is tomorrow, people here in the US got the slip though and snuck through
I guarantee tomorrow best buy will be advertising these for cheap, they have a massive unsold stock that they don't know what to do with, HP told best buy they won't take them back, so they HAVE to sell them for cheap to get rid of them
Thanks crashingout! I will be on lookout.
The hardware is too awesome to miss it, even for poor bastard like me (who thought he can't afford a decent tablet, haha... ).

ATTENTION GUYS, If you want a touchpad for dirt cheap you are going to have to be quick and resourceful. If you want one here is the latest info on where you can find them, as well as the real sale info:
http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2391460,00.asp
go there if you want to get one, and remember, there are a lot of people out there are that are probably thinking $100, thats ****ing cheap!
i just picked up mine (32gb 149$)
Staples.ca has them 16gb 99.99$ and 32gb 149.99$
THEN!. i started googling.. ahhha ..
too good a price to miss..
it WILL run linux or android.. or even just a rooted webos.
and worst case scenario my mom has a new gadget
/Kyndal
If anyone has a touchpad left over let me know... I desperately want one!
Costco has the 32GB Touchpad.
Just picked mine up today for $479.99 for 32gb Model w/Carry Case. Buy now, price match later. Either way, Costco has a 90 day return policy.

That's one thing I'm actually wondering about. What will be the ebay price after every retail shop sells these babies out?
I hope demand won't be big enough for these to sell at 250$. We'll see!

Waited to long. Everybody is sold out. Does anyone have a valid site to buy?
nlinecomputers: try this - http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=3220862
This post seems to be quite up to date. If you read it you'll find out that HP should have a lot of them soon, from BestBuy unsold stock (they give it back to HP rather than sell at 100$).
Grab me one while you're at it
fpu
Pricematching with Wal Mart seems like a good idea to try, assuming they have any in stock.
I get into town Monday morning, so I'll try to stop by with a print-out of HP's plan and give it a try.
Yeah I've been watching that site but they have nothing working.
Edit. Datavis says they have one but the site isn't loading for me. Seriously slashdotted.
Hey guys, this was included in slickdeals topic but for some reason removed later.
http://shopping1.hp.com/is-bin/INTE...E3Kg&JumpTo=OfferList#ProductLinkCrossSelling
There may be website errors when you're trying to checkout. That's due to overload and after you try a few times, it should eventually get you through.
Good luck

Anyone know if there's anywhere in the UK that's doing the fire sale? And as for porting Honeycomb over, that would make it insane
We just got one from HP's small business page.
Took about 1.5 hours since I had a lot of HTTP 500 errors and 'page not found', but I figure HP is getting slammed by people trying to buy one.
I just got the 32GB model... idk when I'm going to get it. I bought it from HP.
I know there are a lot of people asking advice about getting their Transformer Primes and being scared that they may be faulty. I was planning to get it from the USA and having it shipped overseas since it will probably take more than half a year for the Prime to reach the Philippines and they will be way overpriced to boot (16 GB Transformer + Dock still costs around $680) .
I would just like to ask how often do the faulty units come up? And how faulty will they be? Did a similar thing happen during the Transformer's launch (faulty initial shipment)?
I ask because once I order one and receive it, it will most likely be to costly to return it if I do get a faulty one. There are posts of people with defective screens and scratched sides and backs upon opening. I don't really care about the GPS but the WiFi concerns me a bit. The WiFi could become a non-issue though if I find a need to buy a pocket router in the future.
Would you personally advice waiting a few months or should I get one soon? Keep in mind that I might not be able to return it if ever there is a defect (more shipping fees + waiting).
if im you, i'll wait!

I'm in the US and am still waiting. I want to purchase the champagne (silver) from BestBuy and figured I'll end up killing two birds with one stone since they still aren't released for BB in that color. My hope is that once they release the champagne to BB they will be a newer batch with better build quality and hopefully less of the errors reported early on here.
So my opinion for you it just hold tight and wait. Most products that are pre-ordered and pushed out like the prime will have initial issues and cause some negative feedback. There are many people on here who can tell you how amazing it is.
Bought my champagne from newegg.com on Thursday, last week. It's coming tomorrow and no sales tax. You just have to keep watching the website because they appear periodically but sell out really fast. Good luck.
Good thing there's Amazon and their return policy. I'll play with mine for 29 days then file for RMA.
How long should I wait? Would the old stock be gone in say 2 months and a fresh batch be made that may have fixed some defects?
anyone have any idea how long the turnaround should be on warranty repair? I sent it in from the states and its been over a month and I have had no updates or an ETA. I called support and the guy said he didn't know and the person who would isn't in..... The next call got me the "something happened in the warehouse and I can't tell you when you'll see your device.
I'm usually pretty easy going but they have almost had my tablet longer than I have.
It took 1.5 months for them to return my charger that I sent back
Sent from my ARCHOS 80G9 using XDA Premium HD app
Got an email today finally. Apparently they ran out of stock in the warehouse. Should be mailing out my replacement in another 5 to7 days.
it must be because youre in the states you know. i sent my archos 80g9 8gb standard version back last week and got a replacement upgrade 80g9 16gb 1.5ghz turbo version within 4 days. and was quite happy
they dont repair products under warranty. so im thinking you may also get a free upgrade.
i think it will probably be something to do with the us customs . last time i bought something from the states i got 2 bills through the post where the us customs and the uk customs checked through my package and charged me for it.
Still no word of the replacement shipping out. I don't normally ***** but this is kinda silly.
I'm sure an upgrade to 16 Gb or something would soften me up, but that is just not my luck.
Their RMA said would take 10-15 business days in the states after they received it. I was on 3 weeks post receipt with no word. I contacted them via their chat. They said it will be shipping in 2-3 days. So, I guess a month would seem realistic.
Here's hoping I get one of those upgrades!
Wow, I hope I don't have to be without my tablet for a month. My RMA'd tablet was just delivered to them yesterday. It is a biatch to read my school books on my laptop.... I miss my G9.
oh no! hopefully I'm shipping my device soon once i get a reply back for my repair request...i hope it doesnt take a month
Well I got my tablet back Thursday. They received it on Feb. 2nd and I got my replacement on the 22nd of March. No free upgrade though. I will say that this one seems to have a better build quality than the original. There is absolutely no screen defect at all. It came loaded with ics too.
Also I had to get the plugins that I already bought on this one. It was not too difficult once I filled out the form on their page. I got an email back in less than a day and then just added my device to my account on the website and downloaded it.
As much as I love my G9 I am thinking about selling it once it returns from RMA. I am not a big fan of spending $300 on a device to have it sent back for a manufacturing defect and not see a replacement for over a month.
I'm starting to get annoyed. I chatted with them last week and they said it would be 2-3 days. That's was 10 days ago. I talked to them Monday and they said it would ship in today or tomorrow (it's now Weds.). This is getting ridiculous. They have now had the device for over month and it still has not shipped. I jokingly said it should ship Friday (after they said Mon or Tues), I hope I'm that lucky. Frustrated.
I sent my 80 g9 in two weeks ago and didn't hear anything. So I contacted the support yesterday and I've got my replacement today. Unluckily it's no turbo version, so no free upgrade for me
anyone who shipped their archos: what service did you use. it seems UPS does not insure products shipped?

Sent mine through the UK Post Office Special Next Day Service (Not sure if they collect international though). Was there and replaced the next day and a new tablet was shipped same day. Only problem is that it was sorted and sent out by them on friday so gotta wait the whole weekend for it now >< .
As for insurance the special delivery next day was insured for up to £500 so well over the actual tablet price.

Lucky, us in the US have to wait more than a month for a replacement. I use mine for my school books and had to buy a Kindle Fire as a temporary replacement.
UPS should insure, I use them all the time and get insurance on everything I send out. You can also use USPS or Fedex, they have insurance as well.

So after 5 weeks in Archos' possession, I finally get my tablet back. I'm a very excited. The dead spots are fixed!
Unfortunately, the excitement didn't last long. I now have screen ripples and the lock-ups are worse than ever! The sound still cuts out, but I'm starting to think that is due to a bad sound chip design. The frequent lock-ups could be related to 4.0.5. Time to contact Archos support again.
My tablets away tomorrow aswell, Loose Micro USB connection.
It was bought from Currys who told me that they don't repair Archos products, Only a replacement from them, Or a direct replacement if the store is in stock - Which it isn't so when I take it in tomorrow, They'll check over it and deliver a new one out to me next week some time?
Really strange that they don't repair the products ..
Thanks in advance
Jamie
