Is there a way we can take the led notification from the cm7 kernel and add it to 2.2 kernels?
Thanks

he's talking about the different implementation of BLN. isntead of using BLN, the sgs CM7 thread mad ethier own version and called it LEDnotification. Still uses the same keys as bln.
OP: i have a feeling it can't be ported as the control for the lights is in a cm7 specific settings .apk
Ah, same thing more or less, didn't realize it had a different name. Thanks.

I switched back to Bionix 1.3.1 just because it does seem like the best ROM for the vibrant. I say best ported 2.2.1 rom for Vibrant is Simply Honey ;p.
I ported over, mostly, the Touch of Androdena theme that was for Simply Honey.
The only thing that I don't know how to change (xml files and such) is the font color in the pull down. Instead of white as it is on Simply Honey, it's black. You can still see the text but I'd like it to be white but eh don't know which xml changes that..
Oh and also the volume notifications (when you turn volume up or down) have a green bar... no idea how to change that.
Screenshots are pretty identical to the theme for Simply Honey aside from the aforementioned bugs above ;p.
The volume bar color should be progress_horizontal.xml under framework/res/drawable. Haven't tried it yet, but maybe replacing it with one that you know is blue might take care of it.

Ah it did work but messed up a progress bar when first syncing account :/.
What account? I'm not a themer and don't know to much about this...maybe one of seasoned ones will help...looks good though!

I re-synced my google and that litter progress bar was all kinds of weird but I'll give it another try later.
I think the TV animation when the screen turns off/on, on CM7 looks pretty cool. Is something like that possible on comm rom?
I'm assuming it requires source or it isn't possible at all but I thought I would ask!
TSM is adding the CRT animation and over scroll glow effect when they release the gingerbread com rom

Well that's awesome! +1
The GB leak the new ComRom will be based on already comes with the CRT screen-off effect, actually.
Why did nitsuj specifically mention that it was included then? I thought the EC09 leak didn't include it. Unless they have something different...

It was on EC09 (and in NAMELESS and TechnoROM) for me. I'd assume he just mentioned the effect because he was responding to the question "How will this be different from ComRom 2.1?" rather than "How will this be different from stock EC09?"
That makes sense. Thanks
Hey. Is there a hack or perhaps an app to get all the LED colours working on the Atrix? Thanks.

which led? the notification one? if so use light flow from the market.
Yep I think OP is wanting to know more about an App like light flow myself...

You can use the "sky blue" color now with Light Flow, that hasnt always been available.
With the next build of CM7 you will be able to use all the colors too, directly from CM Settings.

Wow, can't wait for CM7 to come out of Beta!
use Light Flow, works great
What are the current working bln roms right out of the flash? I know the newest leak works great.

CM7 is one of them. It also has some added features to control it via Notification Timeout which can be set so the wakelock doesn't drain your battery over a long period of not checking your phone.
It also has a backlight timeout which is just for the 4 soft buttons while in use.

The 2.3.6 leak by shoman works awesome for BLN support. Just grab BLN control from the market and you can adjust the notification timeout for the wakelock issue just like in CM7 mentioned above.

Hey guys, so far I am really happy with my S4. I have no complaints but one, the notification light. Dear god Samsung couldn't have possibly used a worse color. Its such a dark blue you can't even see it unless its very dark in the room you are in. I really want to change the color of the light but all of the apps have problems. I have Xposed installed and working and wanam running too. Is there any way I can change the color of the notification to like white or something?

That my friend is a darn good question. I used it and loved it on my Galaxy Nexus, but went to the HTC One from there and the light options were very limited. I have yet to test it out on my S4. But it seem the guy above me on this post likes it..I do believe there is a Lite version that you can test out as well!

I've used it on my S4 and loved it, you can pretty much set any type of notification to any color of led (granted if that color is supported by our device) you can also, if my memory serves me right, change the duration and and frequency of the led.

S4 has an RGB led for notifications. When I used lightflow, the best colors were, Red, Green, Blue, Purple, White, Pink. Yellow kind of worked, and some of the lighter colors, auqua, etc looked like white. It works good, if memory serves me correct, sometimes it would not reset it's notification, but other than that, it was pretty good.
you can download a LED notification manager that works just fine from playstore...
