Cooking 345 on UOT - Streak 5 Themes and Apps

I have a deodexed 345 stock rom. And rooted.
When I use UOT and use the old scripting with streakmod and only doing a battery change I get a bootloop. I don't get any 9.png errors either.
I have cleaned dalvik cache and removed cache partition.
Still no luck. Any suggestions?
I can't do a fresh flash because that will add the odex files again and I will not be able to use UOT.

I use stock framework-res.apk, I just flash the cooked battery meter using clockwork and it works for me. Flashing it using streakmod does not do anything.

I gave up. I flashed steakdroid 1.9 over 345. So I can get the better performance and easy mods.

how you deoxide?

Try the themes and apps section
I would also check out http://uot.dakra.lt/ to change battety and icons.
But you need to have a deodexed rom
Search auto deodexer in the xda forums and search xultimate 2.2.2 to help you learn how to deodex your rom.
You then flash using streakmod recovery or clockworkmod recovery. You can find instructions in the development section.

i have flashed the battery meter i cooked and works great.
I DO NOT HAVE A DE ODEXED ROM.
So i guess it should work without deodexing

I saw this post before. But with the stock deodexed 345 I do not get any 9.png errors on UOT. If i ever go back to stock 345 I will need to use cwm recovery instead of streakmod.

I tried using cwm recovery with no luck either.
Do you have a deodexed 345?
And what version of cwm recovery are you using on the streak?

[REQ] Lockscreens from Bionix 1.8 to T959UVJI6

Just wondering if someone could create a clockwork mod of the lockscreens from Bionix 1.8 that I could flash to T959UVJI6.

Hi,
This was already done and available before bionix included the mod, you can find the original thread, created by untermensch here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=797431
It includes flashable zip files for both stock & deodexd versions of JFD and JI6, and the source files too in case you want to make your own mods.
Cheers, =)

Thanks, but it doesn't seem like these include the Vibrant Glass Unlock and the Stock 2.1 Slider Unlock.
I'm looking for all four lockscreens which are running smoothly on Bionix 1.8
It seems that if you flash this it removes the Segmented Green Battery Icon Mod. If you reflash the Segmented Green Batter Icon mod your phone starts, but goes into a restarting mode, which is weird.
Is there a fix to use both of these?

My apologies then. There was no indication in the post that those were included.
Flashing now
Will this work NON JI6. Don't like JI6, so I am still on stock. Will this work on stock?

Just installed AFTER installing the Green Segmented mod, then the Lockscreen mod. Couldn't restart my phone. Doing a nandroid before installing the Lockscreen mod where I only have the Green Segmented mod installed. Will try it again with only this mod installed.

UOT

Is there a way to get uot themes working on stock deodexed blur? I've got the 2.1.1 FR sbf flashed and don't want to install any p-roms. I tried it once and uot does say it works on stock roms but I couldn't get it working.

U could adb pull the framework-res.apk and systemUI.apk, theme it, then push it back. This requires root though as would all methods of changing system files

Did you upload your framework-res.apk to UOT?
i dont think you even need to be de odexed to use the majority of features in theme kitchen as framework-res.apk doesnt have an .odex file (at least for me it didnt on stock 2.1.1 sbf) so you can just upload your apk, choose your mods, and then it gives you a zip to flash with cwm, make sure you check the amend scripting box as otherwise it wont flash

[Q] bionix 1.3.1 orig theme & davlik wait period

hi
i looked around for a bit but couldn't really find a specific flashable file for what im looking for... is there a zip out there to revert to the original theme/settings that came with Bionix 1.3.1? im getting bored of the simple b&w so it's time to start experimenting with some themes... :x
also... quick question about davlik.. most of the theme instructions say to wipe the davlik cache before/after installing a new theme but dont really mention anything about the waiting period that is normally associated with wiping the cache when installing a new rom. is it necessary to wait the 15-20 minutes before using my phone or can i just go ahead and start doing things with it immediately after i flash a theme?
any helpful answers appreciated. thanks!
I have been looking for the same thing! The erobos ported theme has the zip but the link to download doesn't work anymore.
The dalvik-cache must be wiped when a new theme is flashed so you won't see traces of the previous after the flash. When the phone reboots after the flash, the boot time will take longer because the phone has to rebuild the dalvik-cache that you just wiped. This only takes about an extra 5 mins tops. As for restoring a theme, you can just push the origianl files from the Bionix-V ROM package back to your phone, if you dont want to do that, PM me and i'll make you a flashable zip that does this.

[ROM]Froyo Longhorn 1.4.2 Updated 12-10-11

This is my latest version of Froyo Longhorn 1.4.2. It is still based on Simplestreak Kernel but with a few more tweaks added. I added ICS window annimations, Roboto font, and I have also added a Red and Black Theme to this version to make it look even better. My ROMs are still stable as always. As a Bonus, Since I was feeling a little nerdy, I added a Custom Flux Capacitor Boot Animation with it based on the Iphone app by Pocket Paradox. Enjoy!
Latest Version Longhorn 1.4.2 https://www.cx.com/mycx/share/O2wLgkt8EeGLExICOBtgAw/Longhorn_1.4.2.zip
Mirror Link http://www.mirrorcreator.com/files/0QI2PKIY/Longhorn_1.4.2.zip_links
Here is an updated version of Longorn with an ICS theme. It is still based off of 354, but has the Kernel from SimpleStreak1.3. It is very lightweight and fast with emphasis on stability. It is overclocked to 1.19 but the battery life suffers the higher you overclock it. I have added my tweaks to it and added some themed apks. This is Froyo version and it is running 2.2.2.
Recommended Instructions for install
1-Download both zip files to your SD card
2-Reboot into Streakmod Recovery, and flash 1.4.1 zip
3-Reboot all the way into Froyo OS
4-Reboot into Streakmod Recovery, and flash Theme Update zip
5-Reboot and enjoy
Older Versions
Longhorn 1.4.1 ICS Version http://www.multiupload.com/0YCBNRBGSD
ICS Theme Update Link (The purpose of the Theme update is to repair the text on the bottom menu bar. It needs to be installed after the 1.4.1 install. It is optional, but recommended.) http://www.multiupload.com/YW2FRNBSPF
Longhorn 1.4 http://www.multiupload.com/C5QX5DIDT7
Download and install with Streakmod.
Any Froyo AMSS and DSP1 are needed or else you get flashing lights.
I installed over 1.2 after install rebooted and aftet dell logo it stallrd for 20 mins gave up and nandroied back to 1.2. Do I need to just wait or did I do something wrong?
thank for development.
it don't work in my dell.
please fix it, many thank
What issue are you having installing it? Have you tried a factory reset?
Okay for some reason the ICS theme causes it not to boot, but it does work as an add-on. I am putting a base file up and the theme as an add-on. Bear with me till i get it up.
For those that already have it downloaded, just flash a theme after you flash 1.4 and it should boot for you.
Okay, the updated Rom and Theme are in the first post. Several issues have been worked out.
Pictures/Video needed
Would someone be so kind to upload pictures or a video of this Rom? That would be fantastic!
Thanks!

[Q] Metamorph; Revert to stock theme?

Hello,
I have a general question about metamorph themeing. If I have extracted and installed a metamorph theme and did not make a backup, is there any way to go back to the stock theme? Thanks much!
No. It replaces the files in the packages so if there was no backup, they cannot be restored which will lead to re-flashing your rom (or flashing a new one).

Yep , unless you installed (and applied) the theme through theme manager which then you could simply install (and apply) or revert to your old one (same for launchers).
One last question, do you know of any good sites/places for metamorph themes? Particularly HDPI zips, thanks!
