The Gtab came with a power supply that can be changed to fit different countries. It came, of course, with an adapter for the North American market. I'm going on a ttrip, in a few days, to Europe and will need different adapters. Where can I get them?
Opposite problem: Mine just arrived from Woot! and it came with the European adapter!!! I live in the US, so that's a big problem...I can't charge the damn thing!

my standerd mains charger has a removable plug in section. so i was wondering if HTC make the interchangable ends for use in europe or usa ect... and were i could purchase them for not alot of money in the UK
also a space USB cable, were would i get one for cheap in the uk? would be handy to keep a spare as i hear they do break.
Thanks
i bought a second charger on ebay to get a second USB cable, cost 6 dollars shipped
dont know where to buy foreign plug adapters though
If you read the label on the adapter itself, you will see it is compatible with a wide range of voltages and frequencies. Its actually a small transformer, and you will notice that laptop power supplies also have the same "worldwide" compatibility. So all you actually need is a plug adapter to actually get the prongs to fit into the wall outlets of the countries you intend to travel to. You can usually get these for a few bucks at travel stores, airports, and other places. This is the cheapest way to do it, and that way you can often use those adapters with your other electric devices (electric razor, iPod, whatever) depending on the electrical specs of those devices.
Right, I'm going on a vacation tomorrow off to the place up north that I call Japan.
Just wondering, since my Transformer is a TW SKU and it comes with the UK style plug, will it work with a travel adapater up in Japan? (the voltage for the mains over where I live is 220 or 240v IIRC, I know Japan is 110v?)
so would my charger be able to work in Japan? Would like to know within 7 hours time before I leave for the airport so I can make my mind up as I don't want to use my transformer then end up with a dead dock and tab once I drain it.
Thanks!
hopefully will get an answer before I wake up

now all the travel charger can be use in every where, what you need is an universal power plug, which can be change of the pin for different country.
Using just a regular adapter might not work at all. Probably requires a voltage converter too.
Well on the label it says 100 - 240 volts 50/60hz. So, yea, it will probably work, you just need a converter for the plug.
It works. Got my transformer in Shanghai including the dock and have it connected to 220V here in Germany. A simple adapter is enough.

Title says it all. Any ideas?
It might and might not work in North America, because in UK the power current is 220V whereas in US it's 120V but it the power input for the adapter is from 120V to 220V then it will work. And also the plug might be different, so you might need a "UK to USA Plug Adapter".
no it will not work. you can either get a USB>Wall adapter, or you can go out and buy any microUSB charger. ive been buying samsung phones from the UK for 4 years now, the chargers are useless for us. you CAN however buy a UK>USA adapter at radio shack for 9 dollars (best option)

Hi, I live in Canada and my galaxy s3 came with a international charger from Europe. Obviously I can't use that charger here.. But will buying a europe to USA adapter here be good enough? Will it damage the device if I charge it that way?
Hi, first Sony smartphone, long overdue. Anyways, is the magnetic charger on the side the only way to charge it? does it use standard microUSB?
also, international ZU owners, can anyone confirm if this comes with a 2 pronged US adapter? ( I'm betting against it).
I seen an unboxing that came with a dock, is that the "big-box" Taiwan one only?
Any car chargers showing up yet??
From what i understand (i dont own one) there is also a regular MicroUSB port hidden under a waterproof flap.

So far it seems that the magnetic charging cum dock is available in Taiwan boxes. Mine is a Hong Kong set and it doesn't come with it. I don't think Malaysian sets have it too.
There's of course a standard microUSB charging dock. It's located at the top left and hidden under a flap.
All the z ultra accessories need wait until next month. because this device just launched on 5 August at low yatt plaza. Form the Sony staff information the dock maybe can get after hari raya but the sbh52 bluetooh headset no ideal yet..... The dock not expensive I think around Rm199-229 the sbh52 around Rm259-299 maybe higher . The price info come from internet.

Ah yes, the Sony cum dock
It uses a standard micro usb slot and charger. Mine did not come with a US charger but the vendor gave me a US conversion adapter. I just use my old Samsung charger I used on my S4 and it works fine.
Any good quality micro usb charger of > 1.5A @ 5V will work fine. I use a Samsung charger rated at 2A
So I've got the UHC 20 charger included in my Z5P. However, this one's imported from Clove UK (I'm from Canada) so I think it's designed specifically for UK use as it's got this three-prong thing (I don't know what it's called.) What should I buy to get it working here in Canada? Is there like an adapter I can put in the charger to make it work. I've attached a picture for reference. Also, is this a quick charger?
There are adapters you could get but honestly, I'd just buy a Qualcomm certified quick charger...they are quite inexpensive now...I think Amazon has some as cheap as $9

ending part that is the USA type.
Uch20 is only a standard charger, for the cost of a region adapter you may as well buy a USA spec Sony adapter.

You should be able to get a travel adapter for that. Can be acquired from the airport. I got mine from Heathrow a while back.

Yeah, or any Qualcomm QC2.0 certified charger.
http://www.amazon.com/Qualcomm-Certified-Charge-CHOETECH-Charger/dp/B00UBK9M08/ is excellent
I have a Powergen wall charger that's great, I can't find it now, but http://www.amazon.com/Qualcomm-Certified-Anker-PowerPort-Technology/dp/B014F3D8FQ/ should work just as well.
http://www.amazon.com/Swiftrans-Charger-Adapter-Samsung-Support/dp/B00ZZG6IKU/ - good car charger
What's the model number for the U.S. Compatible Sony charger? Any one who got the Canadian Z5P what model number does it say on your charger?
