[Q] SonyEricson screen looping

i instaled andread 2.3.4 on my xperia x10 mini pro and its now stock at sony ericson logo, how do i fix this?
Like me!
It didn't run too, and appeared always the Sony Ericsson screen. Then, i installed the 2.2 andread version, and it's the best rom i've seen: after repair the spanish keyboard and install my favourite programs, it runs perfectly, the 5 megapixels of the camera work and it doesn't waste a lot of battery
Can you boot into recovery?
If yes, then download some other rom to ur sdcard and flash it with a complete wipe!
If no, then flash it using SEUS!
Hi, I now have the same problem with my x10mini.
I tried to put in the latest cyanogen rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1051678)
and now I'm stuck at the first logo.
I cannot:
- Reboot/Turn off
- Boot
- Go into CWM using back-button a couple of times.
I can:
-
-
-
At this state, the USB has been both unplugged and plugged while trying to boot it.
I have tried all sorts of keycombinations.
I have tried CWM-installer (since it although puts phone in reboot)
I some how managed to enter the CWM-state 50-100 reboots ago.
Gave up 20 tries later.
I have spammed the back-button while booting both 20 per second and 1 per second.
Nothing works.
I do realize its bricked. The thing I might've done is installed the rom zip two times.
The first try after finally (being unabled to enter CWM in the first place) entering CWM mode to install the rom zip it just wouldnt boot past the bootscreen (this very, much annoying screen I'm stuck at now) so I tried entering CWM mode again, managed to and installed the zip again.
The mistake there might've been that I never reseted the phone before I did the second install.
Am I doomed to throw the phone in the garbage?
Reflash using SEUS
i have'd the same problem and i flash it
Tip: to install andread v7 install sony bread its the same but sony bread 4 is working, i don't know how to install andread but in sonybread install first ver. 3 then install v4
DO NOT WIPE USER DATA

[DONE]SK17i always reboot after Sony Ericsson

Sup guys!
Im so down, because i hade 2 days ago CWM 7.2.0 1.0.8 on my Xperia Mini Pro and i was bored so i just got the CM 9.0.0 1.1.1 and if just seen on it that my battery goes very fast down on that rom the camera is bad and no flashlight working so i choosed the HYBROM v14 and got the .KRsH Kernel v3.0 (MiniPro) and flashed the HYBROM v14 and it didnt work. I turn on my phone it vibrates i see the boot logo after 3 minutes it show me a black screen and then it restart again and do it allways the same if tried it with CM 9.0.0 1.1.1 boot.img with nero droid boot.img and with rage kernel boot.img and it happens allways the same on some kernels i cant enter the CWM. I tried with flashtool to got the 62. kernel from XperiaMiniPro_4.0.2.A.0.62_SK17.ftf and it doesn do andything now i tried three times to flash SK17i_4.0.2.A.0.62__1251-0103_.ftf but it is allways the same it freezes at sony ericsson logo and then after some time i got a black screen and then it restart.
What should i do please help me
I need my phone so early !
1.Have krsh kernel
2.do full wipe, clear cache
3.clear dalvik
4.in mounts and storage,do format system,format data,format cache.
5.Install the rom.
perhaps it'll work..
But before i try to do this, i have to say if tried to set back my phone with WotanClient i cant use SEUS because i have unlocked the bootloader.
So if done it but it starts with Virbation and Sony Ericsson Logo after 2-3 Minute it's black with backlight on and after 30 sec. it restarts again all the time.
But thx ill gonna try it.
EDIT://
No it didnt work because i cant enter with krsh kernel not with 1.6 or 2.0 the CWM so if tried it with the x kernel and i can enter the CWM but i tried it like u said but it doesnt change anything after boot logo it freezes gets quickly phased black and restarts.
First download the custom ROM .zip file and place it on the root of your SDcard.
Then install the kernel you have chosen via Flashtool or fastboot.
Then you will need a ClockworkMod Recovery(or any other recovery, but this is the most popular). Some kernels have it already built in, check in the kernel description.
Next, enter the Recovery by pressing volume down button many times, when phone boots and screen goes brighter. Then make factory reset, wipe cache and Dalvik Cache(last one is under Advanced). Then install zip from sdcard and choose your ROM's zip.
Oh, and if you don't know, which kernel to choose, then for Hybrom ROM should Rage Kernel and X Kernel work, I have had both on my LWW, both were good.
Yeah dude but i know how to do that all but it even dont boot it doesnt matter wichs rom or kernel i choose it allways stuck and sony ericsson logo and then it gets black and restarts.
If tried 2 firmwares with WotanClient and tried to flash a firmware.
It's just the same all the time.
What to do?
****ing damn ****.
My battery is empty and i cant charge my phone :/
The green led just blinking every 10 seconds quickly and when i try to turn it on it just vibrates and thats all.
What to do?
Does just anyone can help me pleeeease !
If you install a custom kernel, then, depending on the kernel of course, mostly you don't get the Sony Ericsson Logo.
So, you might be doing something wrong there with the kernel, as it doesn't get installed and that causes the problem.
Ok it do it like this:
- I go to my fastboot folder
- I have there:
* adb.exe
* AdbWinApi.dll
* AdbWinUsbApi.dll
* boot.img (the one wich i want)
* fastboot.exe
- I hold shift and click the right mouse button and press command prompt..
- i enter in the cmd: "fastboot -i 0xfce flash boot boot.img" because "fastboot flash boot boot.img" dont work it never worked for me
- i wait till its done
- i unplug it
- i start my phone its not working
And now i cant do something because my battery is dead and i cant charge it
When you use custom kernel like krsh rage or x, they'll have offline charging.. U just plugin your charger(not usb) it'll charge i guess so...
If flashed my phone again with Wotan and now i can charge it.
But its stucking at Sony Ericsson logo when it try's to charge.
And boot is again ****ed it justs like all the time freezing allways and then black and restart.
Is there a way to check whats broken or to set it back with a another way?
EDIT://
I flashed
- Xperia_Relock_bootloader.ftf then
- SK17i_4.0.2.A.0.62__1251-0103_.ftf and at last
- XperiaMiniPro_4.0.2.A.0.62_SK17.ftf
Not i can run the SEUS it says i have the newest version but i pressed install.
I hope it will fix the problem
EDIT2://
****ing damn **** -.-
Its like all the time the same ****.
Why cant anyone help me

Help please..
did you tried to flash any other firmware (eg. Stock 4.0.A.2.368) via flashtool?
try also to flash stock krenel, then relock bootloader and restore the firmware via PCCompanion
By the way, did you unlocked your device with test point or official method?
maybe both of them?
I unlocked my phone with the offical method and relocked it with Xperia_Relock_bootloader.ftf and it worked.
But when i flash my phone with Wotan and SEUS then my phone should be like i buyed it new or not?
Sorry for my terrible english.
EDIT://
I cant find any ftf for download, the only ftf wich i found for download was "SK17i_4.0.2.A.0.62__1251-0103_.ftf" and all other if downloaded with Wotan..

[HELP] Installing Real ICS r5.2 ROM [SOLVED]

*Update: Thanks everyone who came here and posted replies... it seems I had to check Facebook box... checking it installs Facebook app (I don't like Facebook) and solves the black screen problem I was having.
Hi everyone,
I know I'm a noob and I read all related to what I'm trying to do right now, but I just can't do it right... Hopefully someone will help me. Here's my problem:
I'm trying to install Real ICS ROM on my Xperia Mini Pro (sk17a). I installed the recommended kernel, reboot in CWM and did the following:
1. Factory reset
2. Wipe cache
3. Installed Real ICS ROM from zipcard
When I reboot my phone, I go through the setup guide, but at the end it says "the setup guide stopped". I reboot my phone again and it gets stuck on Xperia boot screen. Am I doing something? I guess so cause I just can't get to the home screen =/
This:
Do have unlocked bootloader?
Have you installed a custom kernel? If so, the right kernel for your ROM/Device?

Yes, I have unlocked bootloader (official Sony method) and installed the custom kernel recommended in the Real ICS r5.2 thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1707876&page=101). After everything is done, I get this message: "Unfortunately, setup guide stopped". I can access the settings menu via quickstatus bar, but the home screen is all black. After rebooting, it gets stuck on Xperia logo boot animation. =/
By the way, when the phone is powering on, the led turns blue and the buttons turn white, then goes off and the bootanimation comes... is that normal?
did you wipe Dalvik Cache too???

Yes, under "advanced" option, right?
Here's what I'm doing and the order of steps:
1. Checked if it has unlocked bootloader (OK)
2. Install custom kernel recommended by the thread starter, using Flashtool in flashboot mode. It says everything was done successfully.
3. After installing custom kernel, I power on phone (Xperia mini pro, sk17a version - Brazil) and press the volume down button to start the CWM mode
4. Then, I choose to "factory reset", "wipe cache partition" and "advanced > wipe Dalvik cache"
5. After that, I go and "install from zip card" and choose the custom ROM
When everything is done, my phone reboots... when in SONY logo, for a second the led turns blue and touch buttons turns bright white, then turns off... the xperia logo bootanimation comes and I can finally go thru setup wizard. But in the end, it stops working, the message says. When I reboot my phone, it gets stuck on XPERIA logo. =/
The XPERIA logo is animating, by the way. It's not frozen. It takes ages to get to home screen, and when it does, it's all black. All I can see is the quick status bar. Touch screen and buttons are responsive. The lock screen is all messed up and the button to unlock is out of range. Oh I want this ROM so badly, it is so cool.

[Q] S3 booting problem

Hi guys,
I was playing with my s3 last night. I was very sleepy so I guess i've messed something up.
Here is what I did. I downloaded MIUI-India ROM and installed. It came with its own kernel which it normally didn't include.
After downloading stweak getting CMW working back again I reflashed it and flashed the SiyahKernel 1.7 right after it. It worked and I started
sTweaks and instant flashed a second rom (ParanoidAndroid) to it with SiyahKernel 1.7 right after it. After the reboot it gets stuck on the dual bootmenu. It doesn't give any option like press vol down to boot second rom or something it just shows background after few seconds screen turns black and the buttons bellow just turns on and stays like that. Now when I tried to boot it into CMW it rewrited again with something and now I get odin mode instead. Please help me out.
Hi guys it's me again. I've fixed the problem. I have CMW flashed back again by using ODIN Desktop and now I'm running the MIUI and Paranoid Android.

cm10 first boot only

hello there guys
i have nt 16gb
i installed cwm 6.0.2.5 emmc version
and then i installed cm-10.2.1-acclaim.zip
all went well and the device booted fast
but whenever i restart or turn off the device
it wont boot any more
it pass the cyanboot screen to a black screen and stays there
wiping does solve the issue until next reboot
plz help
do i have to change the cm to an earlier version
does the gapps has anything to do with this , i didn't install it
This "boot into black screen" or "boot crash" is, unfortunately, a known and unresolved problem with 10.1.3, 10.2.x and also some 11 builds -- see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48305694#post48305694, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=49046310#post49046310, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48301259#post48301259 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48941796&postcount=94.
You might want to give the CM11 Snapshot M4 build a try (see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2670589 for how to upgrade to CM11), as I have not run into the issue with this build.
what about 10.1.2
i tried 10.1.2 and it worked
but it has some issues
there are some apps that doesn't work like candy crush and sumle apps
and nt shuts down when it has 25 percent
it shut down and stuck in a restart loop till i plug the charger
any idead?
