Possible Gtablet HoneyComb Theme - G Tablet Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey All,
I wanted to see if there is any chance the Devs can release a Honeycomb Theme similar to the samsung galaxy Tab theme.
here is the link to the Samsung Galaxy theme.

Not sure if we can get a similar look and feel until the real deal honeycomb comes out..
thanks for all your help.

you probably should have posted this in the apps and themes section to get the right exposure. The problem is we have different roms tntlite, vegan, cm7, and more. go to the other section and find someone who themes the rom you use and then ask.

on second thought...
here you go

[Q] Tutorials Or Walk throughs?

Are there any tutorials or walk throughs on how to make a theme or apply or customize/modify? I've searched and I'm really liking the awesome layouts some of you guys have posted in the screen shots thread.
When I was moddin my moto slide a few years ago, there were a lot of tutorials on how to change the looks of things, but I haven't been able to find anything here and I don't want to mess up anything, my phone is my only source of net, so if I screw it up, I'm done for!
I'm running xtrsense 4.1
sorry for the newb question and sorry if this should've been posted in q&a but I thought I might get better responses in the theme section of Eris since I'm looking for specific info pertaining to this section of the board.
Thanks in advance for any and all help
If you really wanna go wild with the theming, it's much easier to go with a Cyanogen based rom. Sense roms can be a PITA to theme. Some pages you'll want to check out though:

Thanks for the info! From what I've gathered so far is, you can flash a whole theme to the phone or just bits n pieces that you like and make something that's mixed and matched to your liking?
Are there any threads floatin around with fully complete themes that would work on an Eris runnning xtrsense?

[REQ] Miui theme.

Hello, i was wondering if anyone who knew how to theme miui could make a nice anime theme for the current miui version. Ive tryed searching for one and have come up at a loss although I have seen quite a few people asking for one.
Thanks for taking the time to read my request.
You might have better luck posting this request in Android Development/Themes fwiw (more eyes & miui themers).

[Q] [Request] Vanilla Rom for P7300

I have my 8.9 for about a week now and I would love to see Touchwiz gone. I like the dark blue looks of the basic Honeycomb much better. Hopefully if one of the devs got spare time, I would kindly ask for a Vanilla Rom for the P7300.
Thanks!

+1 on this!

Thinking of Porting Themes

I created some themes a while ago for the Captivate. I was thinking of porting some of them while I'm on leave for the Holidays. I only have a few days left and my working hours are ridiculously long. So, if I do port them I may need someone else to pick-up maintaining the themes. The poll on here is just to figure out which themes the community would like me to port. Keep in mind that some of them were made for the Captivate on Froyo before we had GB. If new screen shots for the themes are needed I'll provide them as requested. Links to the themes can be found in my signature.

New tab headache...

I just picked up my tablet the other day. The one on display in Best Buy had blue icons on the bottom for the back, home, screenshot buttons, but when I got it home, they were grey. Doing some looking I learned the blue went away with the 3.2 update. I came here to see how to change them back, but I'm still not sure. I've seen thread about themes and ROMs that both have the icons I'm after. My question is, which am I after, a ROM or a theme? I'm already rooted so a ROM isn't a problem, I just don't wan to if I don't have to. I bought ADW Launcher Ex thinking it was in there from some of the threads I read, did I miss it?
A push in the right direction would be appreciated.

the ones in best buy don't have touchwiz on it...yours does.
this is stock honeycomb 3.1 with the blue buttons and all.

flash that in cwm recovery.
that will get you to best buy software.
I am not rooted ( and therefore dont have a rom on my tab) but I have browsed the dev section quite a bit and I am pretty sure ROMS is what you are looking for. The ROMS here are based off the vanilla stock AOSP which give you the blue icons ( which I assume are the buttons in this image here? http://ausdroid.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/p1030394.jpg )
If so then you would want to look at the roms exclusively as most themes, that themers make, change the buttons there to something different. So look at the screen pics that the ROM dev posted if they are there then you are more than likely good to go

I would suggest this method as probably the easiest.
by the way a ROM is a ROM.... a theme is made to dress up a ROM.

Thanks for the quick replies. I don't want to go backwards so I'll just play with what I have for now. Tomorrow I'll probably wind up playing with some ROMs just to see what's out there.
I would check out Task 14 Revamped for a ROM and in themes and apps I'd check out b00sted's themes. Both are very recent stable and very well supported. I have never used any of b00sted's themes but I know they are kept up to date and seem very active in his thread. I've looked at a few of the screen shots of his themes and I think you'll find what you're looking for. Plus they're made for Task 14.
You can always customize one that has what you really want to change wallpaper and such that may not be your taste.
Make sure you look around before choosing a ROM so you can make sure there is a theme already posted for the ROM and the theme meets your visual needs before anything else.
Best of luck.

Looks like b00sted's ICS theme has what I'm after. Thanks for the push. Unless you may have seen other theme's out there that have the same. His are the only ISC theme's I find...
