How do I install OC kernel? - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys.
I have SetCpu xda version, but I can't figure out how I flash OC kernel. I tried to install a downloaded zip kernel and install with Xrecovery, but I can't find out how I get this in SetCpu. And I have tried to choose frequency sets (QSD8x55 1024MHz) in the program but I can't get it higher then standard frequency (998MH).
I have rooted and have latest SuperUser version.
Please help. Thanks.

If you're on a 2.2 rom, flash bb52, install bb patch if needed.
then install the two files from here

Sorry for being a noob, but what is BB 52?
BusyBox?

Do you have the right firmware for the baseband?

Okay the Rom I am on is wolf's and I'm on BB 52 going to arch's rom with bb67, I did the patch before installing rom and it works but the kernel wont
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
probably, (most probably) that happens only with custom kernels. am i right?
if so you´ve downloaded the wrong files (boot.img, etc) be sure you install the right ones due to your rom/baseband/android version
Yep I tried the rom without the kernel, then once I flashed it, then it wont work. So what are trying files needed?

As fair as I'm aware, unfortunately a computer is necessary when upgrading. This is because the required baseband and kernel differ for each firmware, and can not be upgraded from the device.

A. See Quick guide to installing ROMs/kernels for newbies. If you just want to overclock, install just a kernel.
Q. How to root my official GB?
A. If you already have a custom recovery, then flash this zip. Then download busybox installer from the market and install busybox. If you don't have custom recovery, then follow the instructions here.
