Best way to replace notification dropdown background. - Vibrant Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Wondering what the best way was to replace dropdown background. I've been using ninja morph but it take so many steps. Wanted to know it their was an easier way.
Here are a few dropdowns I've made, I did not do any of the art work and take no credit for it, all I did was edit it to look good on a transparent background. Let me know what you think.
All have transparent background taken with a grey or black wallpaper applied.

Recent apps bg Notification

Does anyone have any idea which png in com.htc.resources.apk gives you the black bg around the recent apps section? I'm going for a completely transparent notification window and I can't seem to find it. Maybe its an .xml that determines the color... Not sure There is a .png called "recent_apps_bar_background.png" but making this transparent has no effect. ITS ALL THAT'S LEFT! lol

[MORPH] Colored Icons

This is a morph I put together to add some color to my Vibrant, regardless of the ROM. I personally prefer metamorphs to flashable themes as its easy to only use parts of a theme without using others. The theme is very similar to Splash of Color, but more minimal.
Big thanks to rel500 for his Splash of Color theme as a starting point & Manup456 for his NexTheme.
Features:
Colored Icons through system (in framework)
Colored Icons on power widget built into notification pull-down
Colored Icons for Gmail ONLY if it's built into /system, and not installed from the market
Colored Icons for TouchWiz MMS (DO NOT use if you have AOSP MMS installed!)
Colored Power Widget
Colored Browser Icons
Screenshots:
It will look slightly different on every build....just download the morph and take a quick look at the images. If you like what you see, try it. Just make sure to make a nandroid backup just in case.
Download Link - Thanks to @JaiThemes for hosting!
Source of images (this is just a compilation of mine):
rel500's "Splash of Color" theme ((Link)
Manup456's NexTheme (don't know his thread anymore, but follow him on twiiter. He's an awesome guy)
Already running Splash of color. Any screen shots with your changes ?

Most of the changes are to the framework, so the morph will look different on every build. Best way to see what Im using is to download it and take a quick look at the images. Ill try and post screenshots later, but it wont help much

[THEME]{Touch of Androdena V1} for Bionix 1.3.1 4/4!!

I switched back to Bionix 1.3.1 just because it does seem like the best ROM for the vibrant. I say best ported 2.2.1 rom for Vibrant is Simply Honey ;p.
I ported over, mostly, the Touch of Androdena theme that was for Simply Honey.
The only thing that I don't know how to change (xml files and such) is the font color in the pull down. Instead of white as it is on Simply Honey, it's black. You can still see the text but I'd like it to be white but eh don't know which xml changes that..
Oh and also the volume notifications (when you turn volume up or down) have a green bar... no idea how to change that.
Screenshots are pretty identical to the theme for Simply Honey aside from the aforementioned bugs above ;p.
The volume bar color should be progress_horizontal.xml under framework/res/drawable. Haven't tried it yet, but maybe replacing it with one that you know is blue might take care of it.

thanks for you answer. i've downloaded a flashable zip of dna stock rom.
i've found weather icons in com.htc.weather.res.apk. i wanted to use that but are very strange jpg's, because they have a strange background (filled of a mix of colours as in the attached image) instead of transparent background. do you know why?

Jpg's will always have a white or colored background. You can achieve a transparent background with a png for example.
