Hey Everyone,
I just bought the Atrix today. Love the phone. Rooted it in 1.2.6 and side-loaded. Attempted to install GreyBlur through SystemRestore and after I restarted the phone after installation, the phone can't get past the Dual Core Technology screen. It will get stuck on that screen, the indicator will flash red a couple times then it will restart and repeat.
How can I fix this?
Addendum
I tried holding power and vol-down and it showed fastboot at the top but nothing happened after that.
I installed GreyBlur from internal storage rather than SD (dont know if this matters)
If I want to take it back to the AT&T store is there anyway they can check that I rooted it?

Once it is done try to flash your ROM again.

Hey all, up until today I was running 1.83 with Gingerblur 4.5 on my rooted AT&T Atrix. I had the update to 4.5.91 downloaded, but read that installing the update had bricked some rooted phones.
So I put Gingerbread-Atrix-Beta-4-5.zip on my sd card, rebooted into system recovery, and installed the .zip
I rebooted, and the green resonating moto symbol appeared. Only it would show the animation, stop, dim to nothing, and repeat.
So me being the horribly inept person I am, I concluded that going into system recovery and reinstalling gingerblur 4.5 would take my phone back pre-sketchy-attempted-update.
Well that obviously didn't work, so now here's where I am:
The phone is running 1.83 with gingerblur, but mobile data can't connect and touch input has been reversed (touch on the right, thinks you touched the equivalent left spot)
at some point I tried a factory reset, I'm not really concerned with saving personal information and files
When I try turning the phone on with the + volume and power button held for RSD protocol, the phone freezes with the red moto symbol and RSD protocol at the top
I can still get into system recovery
I am a complete noob when it comes to this sort of thing. I was in the process of backing up my phone right before I tried all this, but it was interrupted part way through without me realizing. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated
EDIT: jk. Got it. Just being a god d*** noob, nothing to see here, move along
So, I managed to brick my Atrix 4G. It was originally running on Gingerbread 2.3.6, but I wanted the 4.0, so I set about rooting it and everything, which, as you can see, backfired.
What I did was:
1. Root it using the pre-install method (No "One-Click"- I actually tried that method, but it didn't work for me; thus, I had to go about doing it manually)
2. Unlocked the Bootloader.
3. Tried to install ClockWorkMod Recovery.
4. Tried installing the Custom Rom 4.0. WHICH FAILED BADLY. My phone wouldn't start at all. I mean it would switch on, and I could see the "Unlocked" on the top left, but it wouldn't go further than that.
Also, I was wondering if my phone's really rooted? because, after unlocking my Bootloader, my Superuser app's icon disappeared. The ROM manager wouldn't even work. I would get an error stating that "An error occurred while attempting to run privileged command," but I went ahead anyway, using the "Press vol. button while switching on..." method. I then cleared every single thing- i.e. factory reset, clear cached, etc. Then, I tried loading the zipped custom ROM file on my SD card; everything looked fine, as if the files were correctly uploading- at last, it even said the whole process was done. But, switching on, and waiting and waiting led me to nowhere.
Today, I re-installed the stock 2.3.4, but I wanted a 2.3.6, so I did a software update, but now my phone is stuck on the goapk logo screen. I read somewhere that this is because the Bootloader is unlocked.
HOW DO I GO BACK? D:
Had this phone for a while rooted it and everything was fine, then after replacing the phone i gave it away to a friend. Weeks later my friend asks for help saying it just sits on the AT&T logo, i take it and fiddle with it for a while.
My problems are
1.Wont boot past first splash screen.
2. Wont go into hboot if i try one of two things happens
1. If a sd card is in it a screen saying Firmware update Step 1/2 Unpacking then at the bottom it says update failed and sits on this screen.
2. If no sd card is in it will display a bright pink screen and just sit there
It was rooted
I have no idea what my friend did but suspect he isnt the culprit
different sd cards do not change anything
I have exhausted my knowledge about android and would like any advice.
I bought a Motorola Droid RAZR off of Craigslist. The ad said the phone was like new. I look at the phone and the screen shows where you can make an emergency call or to insert a SIM card. I did not have a SIM card to try out the phone but it looked good from the outside so I bought it. I get to the Verizon store to have it activated. I powered the phone off and started the reboot process. Well it never booted up. The Motorola logo came on the screen the it went to the Droid letters in white and its stuck there. I tried the factory reset and no luck. Can someone PLEASE guide me through the steps on trying to download and install the original software to see if the phone will boot up? I have downloaded Matt's utility and tried that. I started the phone in AP Fastboot. I ran the utility and pressed option 1 to install Jellybean. Everything seemed to go through ok. The phone started to reboot and the little green android guy was on the screen and the thing was spinning and installing files. Once it started to reboot after the install, it went back to being stuck on the Droid logo and thats it. I had plenty of battery when I tried to install the utility. I have a feeling I have to do more things in order to bring the phone back to life. I saw something about RSD Lite. I have no clue what steps to do. Can someone please explain the process to install the original software and get the phone back up and running. I really hate that I got ripped off and hoping someone in here can help me. Thanks in advance!!

First things first: what are the white letters saying? What is displayed, line by line, when you power it on?
EDIT
Do you still have access to the boot menu?
I recently updated my Rooted GS4 to 4.3
I started by downloading the sofftware then when i went to install it, it brought me to Clockwork recovery saying that what i was trying to install was unknown or something but i knew it was the firmware so i accepted it. It all went through installing and was booting up but stayed at the Yellow Sprint screen. for a long time
I read multiple forums looking for what to do, i reset it first by taking out the battery(over 5 times), then i tried it without the sim or sd in. Nothing. I tried wiping the data and cache from CWR still yellow screen. i am about to try restoring it to the stock rom (currently downloading it) but before i wanted to come here for help on how to do it or anything else i can possibily do.
Please help. :crying:
