[Q] Lock Screen Walpaper - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
Has anyone worked out how to change the lockscreen wallpaper? I want to switch it for one more in keeping with the one I have on my Launcher.
Just can't seem to find the option.

Widget Locker. The popular most app out there.
(I don't use any 3rd party Lock Screen app.)
Regards.
You mean changing the way it looks? Or the image?
Just so people are aware widget locker looks good but does drain your battery a lot so i just stick with the normal lockscreen.

That I said at least 10 times, but people don't care as they love the app so much
Just flash a ROM that has lockscreens...

If you mean change the image then hit the menu button from the home screen and select "settings"
In the subsequent menu select "Display" then the top menu item "Screen Display". On this menu you will find options to set font size, home screen wallpaper, lock screen wallpaper and lock screen clock position.
Some widgets also offer lock screen custom options.
You can also go to the "Location and Security" menu in the main settings menu for some other options on the lock screen like password or pattern requirements to unlock.
Hope this is of some help.

I think there's an option on bools.xml which you can enable the horizontal lock screen. Search for the crt animation tutorial and look on the same file that you enable the animation and you'll find the option.

[Q] Disable notification pulldown widget animation

The animation when the notification bar is pulled down is freaking annoying. Any means currently for us to disable that?
Yes please! Really annoying "feature"

Disable all animations might do it. Go to settings, developer options, Animation. Turn both window & transition animations off. I'm not sure if this will work since I haven't received my SGS3 yet. if it does please press the thanks button.
Thanks for replying.. But nope, had also tried disabling both settings earlier
Has anyone found a resolution?
This really is annoying.
Btw, any way to configure/move the widgets?
bump

[Q]Changing Lockscreen Timer CM7

My friend is on CM7 for the Evo 4g. He wants to know if there's any way to increase how long the lock screen stays lit up before it sleeps again(like when you light it up to check the time). I've personally never seen any option for that before, and honestly never cared about it but now I'm curious.
So does anyone know where or how to change that setting? I'm not adverse to modifying a few system files here and there if necessary.

I had the cm7 a few month ago and i think i can remember that u can change it in the cm settings.
I know the settings are huge =) but anywhere in there i think under the topic where u can change the way the screen is locked (not the one in the system settings go to settings-->cyanogenmod settings)
Let me know if i was right
..
Go to settings --> Cyanogen Mod settings --> Lockscreen --> Delay and timeout

[Q] Lock Screen on newly installed Hyperdrive RLS4

I just installed Hyperdrive RLS4 rom last night. I have one issue I have noticed so far is that on my lock screen where the clock is supposed to be I have favorite settings (wallpaper, ringtones, and volume) showing up. Yes, I followed the install instructions with wiping everything I needed to and rebooting before/after the install. Please help because this is irritating...
One more thing as well, I don't know if this has something to do with that but my phone will randomly do that funky verizon call ringtone without my phone lighting up or number showing up. **One note after the install I did use Titanium Backup to restore my apps/user settings.**
Thanks
Go into the lockscreen settings. There is an option to go back to the clock.

I went to Settings--> My Device--> Lock Screen -->Lock Screen Widgets, under general settings Favorite Apps or Camera is grayed out.

I am on RLS2 but if you enabled the option of multiple widgets, then the favorite apps or camera option will be available. Try it.
where is the multiple widgets option?
