All of sudden I am not able to login to twitter in my HTC HD2 it says wrong username and password whereas wen i use d same credential on website it works. I tried soft reset and also changed the password for account but in vain
Also from the beginning I am not able to login to my youtube account thru HTC HD2 again it gives same error.
Can any1 tell me how can I fix this issue. Thanx in advance
Having the same issue with twitter. Installed the Feb 2011 patch for Peep and still no go. Interested to see if anyone has a solution. No problem with YouTube though.

might not apply in this case, but i had this issue myself and solved it by actually signing out completely from Twitter and YouTube on my desktop pc before logging in on my HD2. Hope this works for you guys.

Hey all,
I don't know if any of you have encountered this problem yet but I decided to download the Facebook for Windows Mobile App from the Marketplace and I logged in and everything worked fine untill I opened the app up later on to find it will not update, I tried on WIFI and 3G etc Nothing happens it starts to refresh (eg the rotating loading icon appeared) and then stops and it doesn't actually refresh.
Is there a way to go back to the original app? or is it all around better to use the Opera web version?

I'm running Dutty CDLC v15 and it's only started happening since yesterday. Maybe something wrong with Facebook? It works if you log out and log back in again though.
I uninstalled and reinstalled to see if it would work and it did, didn't think to try logging out to be honest ha-ha I think it may have something to do with the program. I will try and see what either Facebook or Microsoft says and hope they make a new update that actually works.

Facebook itself is having problems. Been reading all over Twitter, people saying Facebook is down. Don't know how the site is,but the app definitely isn't working for me.
I posted about this over in general, was told the same thing, logging in and out seems to work but you have to log in and out every time you want to update.....
its a facebook side error though that's the bottom line......

HMM .. I found a different facebook APP called XDA FACEBOOK .. it doesnt do all the things the regular facebook app does and doesnt show photos yet but it DOES refresh so I wonder whats going on...
hmmm that weird.... maybe the fb app has gone the same way as the myspace app...... right down the plughole......

I did a hard reset and installed FB first...Refresh works...after SPB backup (Restore)...didn´t Refresh...i guess it´s no FB and no Marketplace problem...
Here´s the solution...
Delete the "Facebook" and "FacebookInfo" files in the main dir of your mobile...start Facebook, login again...and it works...

Yeah I have not been able to get facebook to connect on my HD2 for a week now. I can still upload photos to facebook via the uploader, just cant update the app info... anyone know and app that works lol

have you ever changed your facebook email address? check that the contact address in account settings matches your new email. i found that though i could login with my new email the old email address was still showing as contact address. i also reinstalled the facebook app so could also have been that which started it working again for me.
In my case I'm having problems logging in.
Regardless if I tick the "remember settings" square it keeps asking me to re-login with all of my credentials even after I hadn't shut off the phone... which didn't happen when I had the old Facebook Mobile version...

Hi, I'm the developer of the XDAFacebook app, and I can say that yes FB was down last week. The reason my app still worked was because the error that was breaking everyone had an easy work-around and I was able to release an update that worked.
I would say if you are not happy with the Microsoft app, please check mine out. It is still in early beta stages but will quickly become a full mobile client. Any feedback would be wonderful!

I don't think we'll EVER see a fix. This app was developed by MS & not facebook, like on Android or Apple. So I think it's safe to say MS has abandoned it in favor of their WP7 facebook app.
I've been using joe coolish's xda facebook app. It works great, just doesn't have all the bells & whistles yet, but will.
Other than that I do use tweetdeck & the facebook app when I switch over to android, both of those are good, especially tweetdeck, you can update twitter, facebook, foursqaure & more all at once.

Since a few days, I saw that the facebook profile pictures of my friend who are in my phonebook don't sync. I ask to my friend and I saw that it the same think to all other htc device with WM6.5.
Somebody have a solution for me?

Try looking for a piece of software for your phone called BOOKSYNC - it will sync ur facebook friends pics with ur outlook entries. It won't sync automatically, but you can run it weekly (or more regularly if you want) to keep them in sync!

go on facebook, and disable https in the account settings.

I have noticed my phone always has the sync icon on the menu bar.
It never syncs unless i go in and cancel sync and then resync it.
Anyone know how i can fix this?

I think I read that this was due to having and using an HTC Sync account through the .com site. Disable that and restart, see if it helps.
Someone in the bugs threads mentioned they believed it was related to htc watch account and that deleting your htc watch account and rebooting fixes it. Might try it....

Every time I try to sync the Microsoft hotmail on the account & sync it tells me that sync is currently experiencing problems that it will be back shortly. is this going on for anybody else or is it just me. I'm trying to sync with Microsoft hotmail not the pop3 but with the exchange. Please any help gladly appreciated.

Me too. I believe this is a common issue. I have one hotmail account that works sporadically, and one that doesn't work at all.
Had the same issue. It was so annoying I switched to the hotmail app.

Yeah, it has never worked right for me either. I was wondering if the OTA might have fixed it but haven't tried setting up the account yet. Are you on the newest version?

I'm on the latest OTA, rooted. I just deleted the problematic account and readded it, and Im not getting the error now. I'm curious if it will stay that way. I have it set to push.
EDIT.. Nope, still hosed. I guess I could set it up as a pop account
I'm not glad that this is happening to a lot of people but I'm pretty happy that is not just my phone. I thought i had to go and get a replacement after 3 factory reset with no luck. hopefully it will get fix soon.
Is it possible that the OTA actually killed the Hotmail sync? When I first got my phone, Hotmail worked beautifully with the stock Email app, for several weeks, including Push email. Then, all of a sudden it just stopped working and I got the "Sync is currently experiencing problems" message. Hasn't worked since.
Has anyone been able to make it work again?

No. Many hotmail users with varying phones are have been experiencing the same issue.

Yes. It's confirmed that the stock email app doesn't push with hotmail. Download the Hotmail app from the market and you're gtg. Push on that app works great!

I have searched for the answer to this problem all over the net and can't seem to find a solution, so please forgive me if it's glaringly obvious.
I have been trying to configure my yahoo mail (.co.uk) account on the inbuilt email app on the brilliant SGS3 but to no avail. The only folders that show are Inbox, Outbox, Sent and Trash. I have added the account and removed it and tried again prior to rooting and done the same following.
I don't have a Yahoo premium account but have managed to add the account to my work phone (the HTC Sensation running ICS) and I can see all the folders perfectly fine.
Can anyone suggest what I may be doing wrong?
I'm running I9300XXLFB

Got Yahoo configured on stock Email app (yahoo.com, stateside). On my SGS3, f you pull down the folders menu and select "Show all folders," it properly shows all my custom folders.
Already tried that only folders that show when I select 'show all folders' are inbox drafts outbox trash. That's all. When I do the same on the HTC sensation I get all folders.
Makes no sense to me.

i got my sg3 a few weeks ago and ever since i haven't been able to set-up my yahoo account
i just changed the internet provider, and everything solved. earlier i couldn't access the account at all, but after changing the internet service provider everything is fine
Wow you changed isp to get folders? Seems excessive!
I was just hoping it was a known UK problem or t mobile UK problem.
