Hi,
I would like to reprogram my hard buttons, mostly the lock button. Is there an app that can do this? I'd like to make it launch an app when i press it and then lock it ( the app itself locks the droid ).
Thanks for help.

I haven't used Unnamed but I've used Widget Locket app. If you use that as your lockscreen, you can configure what buttons should allow your screen to unlock.
In Widget Locker there is a setting that stops screen from unlocking on volume button toggles. There's also a sub-setting that allows volume change while the screen is off while you are playing music.
I would rather not have an app just for that reason. Can someone help me fix the issue with a flash?

I was wondering if there is a way to disable the touch buttons on the bottom of the phone. I'm using the AOKP rom and I would prefer to use the onscreen buttons that you can enable in the rom settings.
I hope so. -__-

You can use an app like Root Explorer to do it. Open the app and scroll down to the file that says 'sys', then scroll down to the 'class' file. Then choose 'Leds', then 'button backlight'. You'll see a list of files, including one that says 'brightness'. Long-press the file, then select the option to open in text editor. Change the value to '0' then hit the menu, save changes and exit. There's also an option in kernel tuner to turn the capacitive button lights off, as well.
