[Q] Atrix 4G IMEI decode? - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone know how to decode the IMEI number of the Atrix? What I mean is can we get any information of the phone from the IMEI number (like what date is was made, released, at which plant, which country and stuff like that)? Will be really appreciate if anyone can shed some light on my question. Thank you in advance!

Need Help Unlocking Phone

Hi there I currently own a Sprint HTC Touch Pro CDMA phone that i purchase as it first came out in the States of 2008. I need help on how to unlock my phone. I have read around the forum and hear ppl saying that i would need my IMEI number but i have no idea where to find it on my phone, I have tried the *#06# number but doesn't work can anyone help me out with this. I would really appreciate it if anyone can help me with this problem i have been having.
I have located two sets of numbers under my battery labeled as MEID HEX/MEID DEC. would either of these set of numbers be considered my IMEI number.

If you go settings>system>device info>identity it shows imei.
IMEI
I'm afraid I went to Settings > System > Device Info, and the Identity tab only shows Model and Platform (RAPH800 and PocketPC, respectively).
Where can I get my IMEI number?

The above thread states you have an "ESN" number instead of an IMEI number. Search is a powerful tool.
yeah I can't find where it says where my ESN number on my phone so i am guessing if u have a CDMA phone you really cant unlock your phone.
Use Search Luke Use the Search
I know the phone can be unlocked so you can change phone number etc...
I am looking for a similar app which the Force tells me is close by.....

I am about to do some travel and was wondering if this phone would add +61 to your stored phone numbers and minus the zero. I am in Australia and just need this Country Code. My wife has an IPhone and she can do that easy in one of the menu's somewhere. Does this phone do this if not is there an app capable of doing.
Thanks in advance

[Q] IMEI

Hey everyone,
I do not roam in this forum, ever. As you might see I don't have an EVO LTE, as much as I would want to.
Here's the thing. I want to see if I can get a good condition EVO LTE to hold me off for 6 months to a year so I can use my Desire for testing ROMs only. It would have been easy except for 2 things: a) I am in Canada so I have to ask TELUS whether it will work on their network; b) it's a CDMA phone. TELUS has CDMA network, which may help.
So I got an email back from TELUS support pointing me to this page http://mobility.telus.com/en/BC/phones-and-devices/devicecompatibility.shtml?eVar6=link. He asked me to input an IMEI and that would see whether it is compatible with the TELUS network.
So I'm trying to find an EVO LTE IMEI, but... I'm almost afraid to ask, but can someone point me in the direction of one? Is the IMEI an extremely, extremely private thing? The kind of thing that if it falls into the wrong hands, it can wreck your phone? Because this would help me greatly, but if it's supposed to be private and secure like that, then I'm fine without.
Sorry if I sound like a noob, I've just never had to deal with the serials and IMEIs except in S-OFFing my Desire, during which you have to provide a serial number (I practically have it memorized by now).
Thanks guys.

Your IMEI is extremely sensitive information. someone who gets it can mark it lost or stolen and literally make your phone a brick. on top of that they could switch it to their account ( fake person ) and make an claim for it being lost. i sell cellphones for a living and many people try that. do not give it out unless your on the phone with legit customer service.
Plus that link has no https:// secure on it. i wouldnt trust it.
IMEI is private and you shouldnt have one less you own the device...
Closing this thread before it tailspins into the wrong direction...

[Q] HTC One imei

Hello anyone able to help or to give me insight, My imei was blacklisted as this was an error and T-Mobile will not help me in anyway to unblacklist the phone. Does anyone know a way to unblacklist the phone or a workaround to get it to work on T-Mobile carriers? Thanks
You could try xposed's I ME I Çhanger, if you do let me know if it works out
