Hi, I'm still on Eclair 2.1-update1 T959UVJ16 (stock ROM) because of MobileAP .
If I upgrade to Froyo or the coming GB, will I lose MobileAP?
(Sorry, tried to post to the dev forums, but because I'm a new user XDA won't let me)
Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply.
Will MobileAP work with the stock Froyo ROM? Or will I have to use a custom ROM?

I decided to to flash my vibrant w/ the Flashable Stock JK6 - Froyo 2.2 Rom posted in the dev sec. My stock 2.1 rom w/root i would on the norm get any wheres from 675Kbps to 750+Kbps. With this new rom i am not even getting 100Kbps any suggestions, can anyone else suggest a better rom for mobileap speed?
I'm seeing 3.5Mb/s down and about 600Kb/s up through the mobile app on JK6. Maybe it's just the area you're in?
Hi guys I have a quick question, help would be appreciated. I was using axura custom rom for froyo. I upgraded from eclair. Gps never worked properly on stock 2.1. However worked perfectly on axura with no issue. Now I upgraded to official t mobile froyo update and again the gps became useless. I was just wondering if we can apply axura gps settings on official froyo release? Thanks in advance.
I have tried using the SGS Unlock Application, both the Eclair and Froyo version. I am thinking I may have to flash a stock ROM to the phone before doing so but would prefer not to.
Currently the ROM I have on there is this one here:
[ROM] Vibrant AOSP ish JK2 1.1 Official FROYO (Working GPS, WiFi Calling) *11/9/2010*

Any ideas on how to proceed??
Thanks in advance
Have you tried the root methods in the sgs unlock? if not, root it.

Since we can't change the kernel, are Froyo features like USB tethering available in the Froyo or Gingerbread custom roms for the mini/mini pro?
What about apps that require 2.2 or 2.3? Will those work on the custom roms?
Sorry for the beginner questions, I searched through the forums but couldn't find any answers to these.
Thanks!
Roy
Not sure about USB tethering, but Froyo and Gingerbread apps work fine on custom ROMs, though obviously you won't be able to run Gingerbread apps on Froyo.
Hi, where can i find stock kernel for vibrant froyo (2.2), all the links seems to be broken
thanks
These aren't for just the stock kernel, but check this thread out:

It particular this post (#224) by Fishman:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24149078&postcount=224
That's an entire stock ROM (also rooted and busy boxed) with the stock kernel included.
For Froyo or GB Roms Id say try this:

The Jaeyoon kernel is basically a stock froyo 2.2 kernel with Voodoo enabled.
I fixed the links in my original post. Copied that from somone that asked for a stock ROM and didn't pay attention that it kept the ... in the middle.
Thanks...
Thanks everyone for your help, i´m downloading some of the images i´ll try to see what fits better to me....
