Are you using an auto task killer?
And which clock widget are you referring to?

Yes, he is definitely using task killer, i had the same problem too, to fix it, open ur task killer, long click in the clock widget and put it in ignore list, that shall fix the problem

best way to keep the notification bar hidden

question in title
i know launcher pro does this but when you open up an app (like handscent sms) it shows up again.
is there any app or anything to remove the notification bar universally?
I use the zeam launcher. That has an option that almost always hides it. Hope that helps.

im prettyed used to launcherpro and would prefer to stick with it
I dont know of a way to do it in apps, but if you want it gone on your lockscreen as well, I use Widget Locker to accomplish this as well as place a bunch of widgets Im always using right on my lockscreen

damn, i guess our phones just aren't meant to not have the not. bar.
only reason i'd like to have it gone is so I can further depend on widgets, just for the hell of it.
zeam launcher does it for me all the time once i hide it its gone in any app i open

[Q] Gingerbread breaks Desktop Clock App?

I've looked around as much as possible, if I missed it, not sure where.
I just did the update to Gingerbread on my Thunderbolt (stock, non-rooted)
Before updating, there was a separate Desktop Clock icon in the app drawer (launches straight in into the full screen clock, a.k.a. bedside clock)
I had this launching on plugin with Tasker... but after the update, that app icon is gone, and Tasker can't launch it either.
Is there any way to get that icon back? I looked at the bedside clock apps in the market, and none of them are a efficient and clean as the stock one.
any help or suggestions are appreciated!
Not without root. You can access it through the clock widget though.

Argh, that's unfortunate.
Though I suppose it's possible that someone might build a replacement/mimic app?

The app is still there, just not accessible through the app drawer.

Right... but couldn't a program be written to access it from the app drawer/desktop etc?

[Q] How to re-launch an app after it is killed?

Ok well basically I'm having a problem on my Galaxy S II in which when I exit all apps using the task manager, it kills my lockscreen app, WidgetLocker.
Is there a way that I can have WidgetLocker relaunch after it is killed? Or should I just not bother killing all the apps?
Thanks,
Alex

I have the same phone... Yu just have to leave widget locker running at all times if Yur using a different task killer other then the stock one that comes with the Phone then yu can just select to ignore it when yu kill all the other apps but the default doesn't have that option

There is a option for third party apps putting it into suspend mode but no option for Yur task manager not to kill it... The only way to do that is to download something like advanced task killer and just put it on the ignore list....

Ok, thanks for the replies guys, but I don't really want ATK or anything like that, the phone never lags anyway so I'll just close individual programs that I don't want open

Just uninstall WidgetLocker application and try new locker application.

No? Why on earth would I do that? WidgetLocker is a great lockscreen application and either way, ANY third party locker software will be killed by the default 'exit all' widget.

Then, the most reasonable option is this... I think it can change sound modes. If not than you probably could tweak it in the advanced settings if you have cyanogen mod

Any way to get next alarm to show on Sense 5 Lockscreen?

Hello. I am running the stock T-mobile 4.3 Rom and I am wanting to be able to see the time that my alarm is set for to show up on my lock screen. Is there any way to add this feature? Thanks.
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Premium HD app
Mine does that. I think it only shows if your phone is locked with some sort of security. I have the pattern lock enabled on mine and it shows that as well as the battery percentage as it's charging.

Do you mean alarms, or the upcoming appointments from the calendar? The appointments will show up if the "Productivity" lock screen is selected. I personally never use the alarm function - I set all my alarms via reminders in the calendar.
Yea I mean the alarm. I have some daily alarms set and it would be nice to see the next alarm time on the lockscreen.
