i love this case so much that i was hoping for a Transformer case to come out, so i emailed customer support at CaseCrown and this is the reply i got:
"We appreciate your interest in CaseCrown
We are currently discussing the Asus EEE Pad Transformer, so it is a possibility!
We can email you a notification if they will be available, however it will not be expected for at least 1-2 months
Otherwise, we can offer a few suggestions on generic sleeves or cases that will fit if you are interested."
i asked for alternatives and if they propose anything different than what's on the "compatible cases" thread i'll post them there. just wanted to let you all know.
They should definitely look into it, considering it's generating more hype than the Xoom.

the casecrown cases really are fantastic so it may be worth the wait unless someone else comes out with one thats just as good. i know that the "FolioGuard" case shown in this forum is the one to beat right now, but the biggest caveat there is that it doesnt have the low profile stand ability. so basically i cant put it on my desk and have the low slant angle for typing
Yeah, I can see that being a problem for some.. The FolioGuard guys read these forums with interest though, so I'll wager that the feedback has been received and taken on board
Personally, because I use Thumb Keyboard extensively when using the tablet on its own (in "split mode") - that with a low profile typing position would actually feel "sub-optimal" for me as its best used when gripping the tablet and tapping away with your thumbs
..and then there's always the dock for the real typing shenannigans...
(If only Asus could've licensed the Transformer's transforming noise whenever you docked it... geek-tastic.. *sigh*)

But someone has already emailed casecrown saying the TF101 case will be out in a few weeks within June to order. Hopefully within under the $20 mark.
This case looks great and it doesn't appear to be too thick like a lot of other cases too.
Hopefully it lives up to expectations as I'm getting tired of keeping my transformer inside due to not having a case.
I just bought a casecrown sleeve that I like quite a bit (other than the turqouise meshy crap on the inside that is a tad too rough to make me feel like it won't scratch my screen!)
Either way if they made a case like that which turned into a stand, I'd definitely purchase it Here's to hopin'!

Damn, I'm tempted to get this. I've been wanting a good case and I already have a carrying case by case crown. But Roocase's case seems like a better option because its multi angle.
Ill probably pull the trigger on this sometime this week. I just want the thinnest stand case possible. The multi angle is less important to me than being thin and light. Most of the others are bulky and if I wanted something an inch thick that protects the screen I could just just carry the keyboard dock.

The flap on the back and the way it tucks, along with the viewing angle and case material seem quite comparable...
I'm happy with the Jazz...fit is good and material is decent, especially given the price point....is rather difficult to type at the given angle...I think I would prefer something with multiple viewing/typing angles and a little better quality material...but again, for the price paid it is a good option...I'm betting the CaseCrown will give similar results...
Ryan...should give you the thin, light case you are looking for...that was my main need and am satisfied from that standpoint...

TuffLuv will work with dock but is expensiveand the bottom is mostly cut out.

just thought i'd throw in my 2 cents here. i just bought 10 CaseCrown iPad2 standby cases for upper management at work and they are really nice cases. one of my friend had one and after messing with it, i liked it enough to recommend to the execs. as soon as the case came up on amazon for the TF i ordered one immediately.

Got an auto email Friday stating they will ship Jun 27th but got nothing so shouted email to them and they stated they did not have enough stock to meet the preorders, next stock they receive is no later than July 8th. I threatened to cancel so they are willing to discount $3 if I wait till then. I preordered Jun 15.
I am in Canada and don't know how these guys ship so I may get this case by August. HA, HA!

The dock compatibility has the downside of exposing the bottom to possible dust and impact. Only way I see a case supporting dock to be fully protective when undocked is if it had some kind of detachable bottom for when you need to actually dock, Probably would be good if it was held in by tiny pop-in buttons of sorts and with a as small a presence as possible so it doesn't cause any discomfort in holding the tablet.

don't mean to be a party pooper...I had the same case for my og xoom. It is quite thickening and the propping up mechanism is less han stellar. I would save your money for something else.
I jumped in it too.. had on for my xoom and while it does add bulk.. it also adds protection and for 11 bucks, how can you go wrong

I could care less about the bulk.I had the motorola folio case for my xoom.I accidentally dropped my xoom while it was in the folio case on to the concrete upon getting out the car.I was certain the screen was cracked into pieces.But the folio case took most of the impact & saved my xoom.Imagine something like that happening to you $500+ Prime....Get the case.You can always take it out when you want to show it off.

Damn those zenus cases look nice.. Too bad there's nothing for my t989 gs2 or transformer prime... I really wish there were more high end cases with nicer materials, design, and stitching. If only android tabs had choices of cases like the ipad does

I would not think a iPad case is compatible with the asus transformer prime as the device dimensions are different.
The reson i asked about the zenus cases for the samsung galaxy tab "10.1" is because the general form factor is close (with slight differences in width).

Amazon has listings for slim cases from VERTEKS and VIPERTEK that look similar to that case for the prime.
misread the post....thought we were looking at the leather case...the slim cases don't look too bad at all!

Just cant believe these guys dont have anything in stock when a new device comes out.
This looks almost exactly like the Verteks case except that this has a cutout for the speaker. Hmmm... Didn't think about the cut out for the speaker. This might make me switch my order for the rooCase.
How exactly do those hinge / snap looking things (from the VERTEKS / VIPERTEK models) work for holding the tablet? Their hold on the device looks rather precarious

I ordered the rooCase on the 3rd, estimated to be sent out on 10th, however, today is the 11th, Amazon status still says Shipping Soon, so no idea how long it'll take.
ideally, i want something really thin, doesn't cover the Transformer look, and stands landscape and portrait mode in multi angles. i don't need protection, i need a case+stand.
the detachable inner sleeve means there are two layers on the case, sleeve, and the actual case. you can use the sleeve without case, which is kind of convinient.
I emailed as well (through amazon's "contact the seller" method), no reply yet. Mine also still says "shipping soon." I paid a lot for 2-day shipping, too, because I'd really like to take my prime to a conference I'm going to this weekend. Frustrating.

So do you recommend I order the Moko cheaper one? The Roocase though says available the Moko says 1/18. But if the speaker isn't cut out then I don't want it. I emailed the company to ask them I don't now what to do but i have to leave for work and my tablet just got here YAY!

just got an email reply saying my case went out today.

Apparently no one wants to put money into a device that may not even survive a few months. You will only get the low end stuff really. Everyone knows Apple is the real deal and isn't going anywhere....so it is a sure bet to invest. Remember, you don't need to sell Apple stock, it sells itself.
I have yet to buy one, but this is one of the few I have seen that says it is actual leather.

My friend has a roocase for his og nd its very nice.. Here is a link to one, but they make several. I like this one because the tablet is in a "detachable" sleeve. (I have a substantially similar version made by MiniSuit but it's very cheap leather - looks fine from any distance, but for $14 I know it's not good quality - it serves a purpose and looks fine for my needs.
Anyway..... check Roocase. I've seen and handled that brand and think it is nice. MUCH nicer than most anything else available. If you don't like it, return it.

tuff-luv.com has some great albeit pricey leather cases for not only the Prime Tablet but also the Tablet and Keyboard.
The real question is: "Where are all the quality non-leather cases?"
There are tons of options for leather cases with varying degrees of quality, but there are practically no non-leather cases.
I have the cheaper poetic/mono case and it has been great. No complaints.

How is it only going to last a few months? They are releasing the tf 700 in a couple of months, but that will be the same size so if anything the lifetime will be expanded more that it normally would be.
Also this is a good case, I got the exact same type just from a different company called Acase, because it was cheaper priced.

I had the tuff-luv case for the TF-101 and the quality was really nice but it was more geared towards using the dock so the bottom edge was fully exposed.

Yes, I've been looking at this one but I'm cautious on pulling the trigger. Read a review on another forum and the quality of leather was in question.

I also looked at the Roocase but I am concerned of the thickness the case would add to the tablet.
I also purchased the Mini Suit case to hold me over and agree that it's made of very very very cheap looking pleather.
So my search continues

I have several cases from this guy on our Kindles, Nooks, iPad and now TFP. Have had some for over a year and there are holding up great.
The two problems I have with this case is that it will not charge closed or when sitting in landscape as shown.
I was skeptical about different cases i kept finding online. But after taking a proper look at this one --> "GreatShield Multi-Stand Leather Protective Folio Case for ASUS TF201 Eee Pad Transformer Prime"
I went ahead and ordered it. It cost me 20pounds and was shipped from the US. In terms of quality, It is way better than any leather case for any tablet I have seen so far including those for the ipad (and I mean it). I asked someone @ my UNI to guess how much it cost me and he said "probably 70pounds". My point is, it is of the best quality, it looks sleek, professional and prestigious. Even better is the fact that it is tailor made for the transformer prime so all ports are accessible. Its design also doesn't cover up the bezel like most other tablet cases do (something i dislike with a passion).

which looks fairly similar and was not happy with the design. Used it for 10 minutes and went back to the cheap minisuit.
Most of my cases in the past did cover the bezel and I kind of got used to that.
I may just bite the bullet and try the Caseen one. At this rate I will end up with a drawer full of these cases in search for the right one.
Going to give the Acase another try tonight to see if I can get used to it.
The saddle leather one coming soon from tuff-luv looks promising. 99£, but saddle leather is a top quality product. Once a picture is available, ill probably order one, as long as I can get it to the states.

If you think that $10.00 is quality leather, or leather at all for that matter, then your standards are very low.
I have the caseen one, I'm pretty happy with it.. Doesn't add too much bulk but does add a good amount of protection. I feel the build quality is good too.

UGLY duckling. Also, they forgot to make holes for the speaker! A lot of cases apparently have forgotten to make holes for the speaker. I'm still using my Caseen Skinny case and I still love it.
Hey guys, just wanted to post my video review of this case. It really is a great case an I have been using it with my TP whenever I don't have it docked. I am looking forward to the release of their Portfolio case, which is essentially the same as this one except it holds the keyboard dock as well.

I also really like the Poetic Case. Doesn't add a lot of bulk, yet provides good protection. I like that it does not cover the bezel, unlike other leather cases such as the Caseen. My only critique is that the grooves in which the Prime rests in at 3 angled positions could be a bit deeper, as sometimes the Prime will slip out of the groove, particularly the first narrower angle groove. Other than that, great case for the price!

I recently purchased one for my Prime and really love it. For the price, it is hard to beat.
Anyone have a quick fix for how to get it to sit in the slots more stable? They aren't deep enough to hold the prime in place sometimes.

I actually had to go look, but you are correct, there are no holes for the speaker...
Kind of a bummer, heh I didn't even notice though.
It's plenty loud without the holes.. I was just watching a TV show and my wife told me to turn it down.

Mine does not have holes either.
You got the case with the white stitching (as opposed to black stitching) around the outside edges, right? I know they sold 2-3 versions of the case that are very similar to each other, but not the exact same.
My case has black stitching, or very dark, if you will.
For the money, this really is a good case. I've been very happy with it so far. I only bought till better cases came out ,but now I like it so much I haven't even bothered to look for something different.
