I'm experiencing constant WiFi dropouts on my atrix currently running latest radio 01.92.00 on att model in Australia. I have changed several Roms gladiatix, ginger blur etc. and i still have exactly the same problem, does anyone know how to fix this?
There is no fix yet. You can try all of the different solutions posted here and it will not help.
Sorry for the bad news.

The only thing I can this of is flash back to stock and re-root. If that doesn't help I would get everything Root related off the phone and take it in to get it looked at.

I recently switched my daily driver from Axura 2.1 to Nero v1.
Prior to flashing Nero I odin'd back to stock.
I've since noticed that my 3g connection is sporadic at best, with my phone spending the majority of its time on GPRS (G icon).
While troubleshooting I've flashed the JK6 Modem back over Nero, and have noticed the same behavior.
This behavior is also evident after flashing back to stock via odin.
The question is:
Given that this problem is visible in Nero and after flashing stock via odin, is there any possibility that this is a software based problem?
If anybody has encountered similar behavior, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
(Always good to have the ducks in a row before complaining to T-Mobes)

Yeah... i'm too ... anybody know how to solve this ??? i cannot use 3G anymore...(
i've noticed the same thing! its great to finally see some posts about it cause i've been wondering! I flashed all different modems, and still no luck after flashing nero 1.
Did you flash the stock modem/kernal back as well?

Hi all. Ive ran into issues AFTER root an im wondering if any other canadian users or telus users have had it happen or have a solution. Heres the order of what i flashed and the issue it caused:
DAG ROOT : Wifi works at home but not at work...will connect but no data gets through.. I think its blocking wpa-tkip encryption which is what the network uses that im trying to connect to..
Cwm recovery: Installed fine no further issues. I tried to fix the wifi with the stock kernel...no luck.. Tried telus radio and it doesent install
then i flashed the DAG Root OC: caused startup FC's. Anyone experiencing anything similar or fixed any of these issues? Sent from my SGH-I717D using XDA
I can guess wifi issue is bcoz of gingerbread version, just deal with it for now.
Once in a while make reset ur wifi in phone.
Like SGS2, on early veraions of gingerbread used to give me hard time to connect public wifi, where you need to login for connection.
I just hope we get ICS soon, to make our Note perfectly nice all what this nice hardware deserve.

Hi.
My data and Wi-Fi keeps turning itself on. I googled around and found that this problem has been around for a while and a lot of people are complaining about this however there still isn't any solution. Some suggested that ShopSavy was doing this, but I uninstalled it and still got the problem, and I even re-installed the ROM. Looks like this is happening to ICS users only.
Really need some solution to this...
HTC Incredible S
Android version 4.0.4
IceColdSandwich vivo-8.3.AOKP-ROSSI
This bug is really annoying, need help.

Are you using any custom rom?
Edward Cullen
Well, yes, IceColdSandwich. But this problem has occurred even to the stock ICS ROM users.

Some developers made fixes for this as far as i know
I've got a problem where if my GPS is turned on and I open maps/or anything which used gps, it will scan for gps satellites(and find nothing) but also will disable my network signal for a min or so while it's trying to locate the satellite, I didn't have this problem on my stock rom however I haven't been able to get my gps to work on any custom rom or the original rom since I unlocked my bootloader.
Anywho I've decided it's time to start looking into trying another radio and I'm hoping someone can recommend one, also how can I backup my current radio? is it just on the rom level where if I use backup in CWM it'll backup the radio at the same time?
Search the forum, asked and answered many times. Find my backup thread and flash 36p radio.
Thank you for the information I found your thread however it appears that it mostly pertains to the AT&T Atrix, I should have said this in my origina thread but I have a Bell Canada Atrix 4G running radio# N_01.07.05P.
Also I'm running Turl's most recent CM9 build.
One other thing, my wife has the same atrix but is running Neutrino CM7 with the same radio and her GPS works flawlessly so maybe I'm looking in the wrong place to fix my GPS issue.
Flashing radio fix my gps problem. You should be able flash 36p but please research before.
Maybe reflashing same radio could help.

just reflashed the same radio, N_01.07.05P_can_bell_09nov2011.zip with no change. I'm going to try N_01.77.33P_can_bell.zip

Well I successfully flashed N_01.77.33P_can_bell.zip onto my phone and now when I run GPS it no longer drops my network connection however unfortunately I'm still not getting a GPS signal from any GPS testing app.
Try gps status. Also search for cm troubleshot, gps part. I'm on mobile now, is not that easy to search
I've been using GPS Status and GPS Test, searched through Turl's CM9 thread again and it looks like most ppl were able to fix it by flashing their radios however there are some ppl there who responded like me with flashing the radio not working for them either.
I mean cm 7 wiki, just google it.
Success, I flashed the radio a 4th time and now my gps is working fine.

I'm glad that you managed. I told you, flash radio
At the end which radio did you flash?
N_01.77.33P_can_bell.zip is the radio I got to work.

Welp, title says it all.
The infamous, unresolved issue of Wi-Fi saying "error" under it in the settings.
Issue occurred first on unrooted stock(when I was give the phone), so I rooted it in hope I could somehow fix it via kernel flash, rom flash, or by other means.
I've practically flashed every kernel, every rom, tried several apps, and still running into this issue.
I would rely souly on Wi-Fi for internet access, seeing how I do not want Big Red up my arse with a contract(sticking to my Optimus V on Virgin Mobile running JellyBean).
The phone has no SIMcard, a 2GB sd-card, and is running the newly leaked BAMF ICS rom(installed in hopes of at least using bluetooth tether with my Optimus V for internet, but BT is broken on the leak).
I've searched every android forums on the web, read several dead end threads, saw even more that were unanswered.
Its as if this issue is purposely avoided being resolved.
I at least want someone to attempt to help, or give me the definitive answer of "you're poop out of luck, and there is no solution."
sent from my Zom-"Bean'(CM10 JellyBean).
It's usually fixed by a kernel flash so im assuming its a hardware error

I've flashed several different kernels(mixing and matching several froyo & gingerbread kernel/ROM combos), which would you recommend?
BT working on the ICS leak with the .19 radios.
