When i switch on my wifi go to the market i get ANDROID MARKET TERMS AND SERVICE everytime even if switch over to 3g i am able to accept DL apps i have cleared my cache gone into mange app all and cleared the data unitstall updates but it dosent fix anybody got a reason way it is doing this

Other than asking you to accept the terms, is there an actual problem you're having? Do your apps and such reset? Are they not showing up?

I also had the same problem twice.
At first time I have resolved the problem only after factory reset.
But after few days again i got the problem but it has been resolved itself. so if u got the problem again just ignore it and problem may resolve itself.

There must have been some presetting defaulted to clearing your market cache on-close.... Or your device itself was stuck on "clear market cache" each time you exited the app. Good news that your reset resolved it.

So after coming back from vanilla bean to stock using the MR1 upgrade I can't download anything from the market. It just all fails. I really need this up quickly any help would be great thanks!
Fails as in never starts, doesn't install, or what?

It hangs for a few seconds then says "download unsuccessful"
To follow up I have cleared data in market through app management, factory reset, and disabling mobile data and renabling it.
One last update it's randomly kinda fixed... Some are downloading others aren't. At this point I am going to assume it is a server-side problem and get some sleep. Will update when I wake up.

Nope it isn't downloading anything. Any clues guys?
EDIT: I'm really losing my mind over this. I've searched all over the internet. I've tried clearing data on many apps, but cannot find the "google apps" I'm supposed to clear. If I download through my pc (Send it from the android market to my phone through pc interface) it works just fine...
Okay I've removed my sd card and lots more. I started a new google email as I heard that worked and it did, but everything that I've bought is gone... So obviously this has something to do with my current gmail address... I think... Any clues?
just wondering if anyone else has had this issue before??? just started yesterday and tried restarting my phone a few times already to try and fix it but still nothing... anything I try to download stays in "downloading" stage... then a lil orange triangle shows up in my status bar up top... lost and aggravated... any thoughts or fixes is greatly appreciated... oh ya, I'm rooted also if that makes a difference...

Yea this just started happening to me too, and certain apps aren't showing up in on the market for me either like "LED's Hack" which is my main reason for rooting. This is frustrating.

something like happened on my phone too, try clear data on settings/applications/manage apps/ find market app and clear its data
i've cleared data and cleared cache and all that, but all that does is stop the current process... if i try and download something again it comes back... almost like there's no connection between my phone and the market... its really weird...
cuz what im tryin to download is titanium backup... i've downloaded it before but that was before i reset my phone a while back...
Has anyone else encountered this issue? I've been trying to solve it by clearing cache, wipe and replace the ROM. But nothing.
Here's the problem (you may mute, my roommates are loud and make no sense)

Nope, I think every one still got that. The only temporary solution is to reboot. But I have seen it happen then too.
Best to wait a few years till NVidia/ASUS can sort this out... (the coming update is suppose to address this, but my hunch is it wont be a complete fix).

I actually solved this:
The behavior is caused when you terminate the Gmail app via the recent app menu.
The app does not appear to handle that case gracefully (shame on you Google). I've tried everything before (resetting, rebuilding Davlik cache, etc.) and nothing worked. But, ever since I've stopped killing the app via the recent app menu, the problem has completely ceased.
Every once in a while I do it by accident and there's a 100% chance that it will crash on a subsequent use when that happens.
Ok, at least I'm not alone. Sometimes it works, but 70% of the times I can't even read an email.

I would assume that a task killer app (including the asus one) could cause the same behavior.
Have you actually tried Factory Resetting?
EDIT: Stupid questions -.-" Wipe = Factory Reset LOL ...
Have you looked at your logs at all? I'd venture to bet it's the same issue I have ALL THE TIME:

Super frustrating given that I have plenty of memory...
So Ive been having this really weird problem, I restore LBE privacy guard with titanium backup then as soon as I grant it superuser permissions my phone reboots and I cant keep a wifi signal for more than 30 seconds. I got a replacement phone and it stopped doing it until I stupidly did it again. Any ideas? Thanks.

Well ..
After review of the app on market , it points back to several updates to correct a start up reboot issue that the app was having.
Developer claims to have fixed the issue for ICS .....but the app hasn't updated in quite a while.
That's a kick a** application, but I'm thinking it's got a bug ...
Are you using the 1x version, or the 2x ???
Also, did you restore the app only ? Or data as well ??......g

Try clearing the data/cache of the app in menu/system settings/applications/all/LBE and re-boot the phone. If that dosen't work, delete the app in the same directory and re-boot?Restoring app&data causes probs sometimes.I try to get in the habit of re-downloading an app fresh every time instead.

Agreed ...
Data restore from "any " previous build, even if from the same rom or application, is generally a bad idea....g

it doesnt show 1new message onthe lock screen but does on the home screen and when you click apps and can see all the apps

I had the same issue when I installed the Handcent widget and kept the stock messaging app. Here's what worked for me:
1) Go to Settings > Developer Options, and check "Do not keep activities". I'm not sure what this actually does (or how it affects other apps) so I unchecked it after it took away the message notification.
2) After a little while, the problem reappeared, so I found a free app called "SMS Cleaner Free" in the Play Store. That seemed to solve my issue permanently, as it hasn't reappeared since.
I'm not sure if one or a combo of doing both helped, but try it out and let us know.
