I tried too. Works perfect. Really fast.
But if you play too much, you would probably f**k the screen with finger force

i'm not surprised since all the psx games i've tried run really smooth on the FPse emulator. i haven't checked the framerates but it's runs at a speed that's faster than my eyes can depict flaws. the Arc's graphics card is truly impressive. it is much much better than the old version in the X10. the FinalFantasy HD trailer that comes bundled with the Arc runs choppy on my Sony Vaio X-Series laptop but plays smoothly on the Arc.
btw, to all you PSX or even SNES gamers, go buy a Datel Wii Retro Game Controller and download Wiimote Controller from the Market (or google it) and you can play your games wirelessly from the couch while the phone is hooked up to the TV via HDMI. it's literally the coolest thing you can do with your phone.

guys try searching torrents for these games...search for paid android games on torrents and you'll find links to all most all the games like Nova, hawx, asphalt, nfs etc..
it is recommended that u should have 2.2+ so try MiniCMRC1 or CM7RC4

Different versions of this games are published on the internet,its not easy to find the suitable size 4 the screen of the X8 dude

Just download the tegra zone app. It has a bunch of them.

i have almost all tegra 2 games, all great, works fine and fast, all awesome =)
scofilde buy it, all avaible to buy in gameloft(vacessing the site via your atrix original browser) or in the market

Riptide GP is pretty awesome. It shows off the phone's graphics power very well. It also reminds me of the PS2 game Splashdown from way back when.
T-Racer HD is available in the market now looks on par with Riptide

I have been hooked on Bang bang racing. Game looks awesome to show off THD, it also has the old mixed feel of Nintendos RC Pro-am and Super off road. Check it out, even has a lite version to try!!!

Hoy guyz! I've installed CyanogenMod7.1 Ba2tF then Google Apps for CyanogenMod 7 md: 1647897d8ac3efb04723d2ad2c361a3f
And noticed that I can't install THD games from market. It says "Your device is not compatible with this application" (This is translation from russian lang as I use this lang on my CM7 Atrix)
Any ideas how to fix it?

If you are using chainfire3d, revert the settings back to is original state and it should recognize your phone.

They cant play psp games. They have the same acces to ported PSX games asthe xperia play.
Im sure if someone were to make an emulator for it much like the nes games and other ones. It could only be a matter of time before we get some psp games on our tabs.

I would gladly take that feature. A stable PSX port of a game, I would pay for it.
I can't find a stable emulator for our phones, I tried psx4droid but it just won't run any of my ps1 games.. FPse does but very laggy, is there a better emulator that works well with the xperia s?
What do you mean FPSE is laggy? I moved from Xperia Play where I spent many hours playing my best PS1 games to Xperia S, on XPS all games looking much better and faster even when I use OPEN GL plugin. Games I tested so far on my XPS:
- Tekken 3
- ISS soccer 98
- Tony Howk Pro Skater 2
- COlin McRea Rally 2.0
- Gran Turismo 2
- TOCA
- Ready To Rumble

U will need to download from the play store PS 1 EMULATOR. I would recommend FPSE. To find any game just use www.google.com

it is not about the money, I havent got created account and I am a bit lazy to do it but if it is the only way to play PS1 games on xperia, I ll probably have no other choices than create the account. in my opinion it is also not expensive at all and totally worth that money

I don't think u can get free / good emulator ... FPSE is not expensive . Btw is worth any money also also developer keep updating app ....

I just found a game on market called PetraVis Lite ... basicly a game inspired by minecraft pocket edition ... so you can try it .. it's pretty cool ...
The thing is that on x8 we can not play mc-pocket edition ... so this is kinda cool
EDIT: googled a bit and found AWESOME GAME ... just like minecraft, litterally, it's "blockworld"

I purchased Minebuilder, and I play with that game. And I love that.
I tried other MineCraft andro version games, but this was the best... Unfortunatelly it has some annoying bugs, but it will be updated soon.

You must have played with a modded version... Or maybe this is a bug or whatever. I have never faced with this problem. Kinda wierd.
Try the MineBuilder games. Its just like a Minecraft game too
