What happen when I press that reset pinhole? Does it boot into factory setting for everything? Will it fix my "damaged internal storage" problem?
I will open another thread for my problem.

So I want to format the internal storage. Got some folders and files from uninstalled apps that I want to remove.
I tried the soft reset(privacy options), checking the option to erase all the data, and I still have those items.
Tried a hard reset(volume +, home button, power button) and those items are still there.
Any other way?.

lol ..Ok when you are doing factory reset you are only deleting the 2 GB reserved for the ROM and apps.To format your internal card ..go to settings>>Storage>>Format USB storage
warning:everything will be removed(pics, music, etc.,) .Keep backup
Rooted phone and cwm boot to recovery mounts and storage format cache data system sd card phone now empty flash stock rom via Odin .
Tried a hard reset(volume +, home button, power button)
Thats recovery not hard reset .

This article seems to indicate that a "master reset" performed through settings or stock recovery deletes all data on the internal sd card. I know that a custom recovery wipe/factory reset leaves internal sd card intact but I'm not convinced that stock recovery would. Does anyone have this experience? I can test it in a couple days if I get disagreement in the responses to this question.
Tally so far:
0 - Yes a "master reset" done with att stock recovery does erase internal "sd card" data including camera pictures (but not external card).
2 - No wipe/factory reset only ever erases system data and settings and does not touch the "internal sd card" no matter which recovery is being used.

Hi all,
I have LOST my onboard USB storage. For work, I needed to Encrypt my phone. I was on JellySNAP Rom. I went through the Encryption which then failed. I tried pressing the button to Reset but that didn't do anything. I was System UI Stopped messages. So I tried a reboot which brought me back to the same screen. This time, the phone rebooted and it appeared to be doing it's thing but then proceeded to get stuck in a boot loop.
I tried re-installing the JellySNAP rom which is where things started to go wrong. In Settings > Storage, for USB storage, it said about 7mb used and had the option for Mount below it. No joy pressing it
I tried wiping Cache and Dalvik - nothing
I tried formatting /system, /data, /preload etc .... from the options in Apolo Kernel - nothing
I re-installed a Stock ROM via Odin. I did a Wipe Cache / Factory Reset but the USB Storage now shows absolutely nothing. In Settings > Storage, I just have the USB STorage Heading and NOTHING under it. Directly below this heading is a heading for SD Card.
Any suggestions as to where I go next to reset everything ?
EDIT: I went in to Settings > Backup and reset > Factory data reset
Happened after i did a system update. I tried, rebooting, and factory resetting and nothing worked, would try to reformat if that were even an option, for some reason even after i unmount SD card the format option doesnt even show up anywhere in the storage settings. Finally i tried a system restore to go back to the previous version of android but i think that the factory reset i preformed earlier wiped all that data. So im at a loss right now, is there anything i can try to solve this? Thanks in advance.
Try backing up your data and formatting the card on a computer. That will most likely fix your issue.
Thanks, is there a guide out there i should follow to walk me through this process?
Hello people I have a big problem. I format my mobile by qfil, but now only detect 9 gb internal memory, and my phone have 128gb. What the problem and how to resolved? Thanks all
Solution: Only open TWRP->WIPE->CHANGE FORMAT PARTITION->DATA->CANCEL, after this the data stay with 110gb
Just do factory reset from recovery
I do factory reset but stay the same but I try again
