[Q] OTA update annoying icon

Hello guys
Today i did an OTA update to ICS.
I Live in Denmark and phone company is Telenor.
The phone downloaded the update, installed it and would not start again.
Was able to install XXLPQ using Odin, and the phone was able to boot and load normally.
I Noticed a small icon that I cant remove, so if any one have any suggestions on how to remove it, let me know.
It's in Danish, but i am sure most of you have seen it (in english) if you did the update.
Whyyyyyyy more threads on this damn ROM? Did you do any searching at all?
Settings --> Applications --> All --> Software update --> Disable.

[Q] S7562 Phone Problem

Hi Guys,
I am having a big problem with my mobile phone. It is a chinese GT-S7562 and was a present of a chinese
friend who wants me to be online when I´m in shanghai.
I was able to change the language to english, but may apps and part of the system were still in chinese.
So I decides to flash a german firmware (my home country).
Everything went fine, I was able to make all the settings and access the play store and get updates from
samsung.
But if I try to make or receive a call the mobile signal gets lost and the simcard shows a circle with a dash
in the middle. After a reboot I have full signal strengh, but after a call attempt it gets lost again.
I tried mulitple simcards in both slots, no change.
I even tried different firmware, even custim ones, but nothing helps.
Currently i am on a stock fw 4.0.4
Baseband S7562ZCMG1
Build number IMM761.S7562XXBMD6
Does anybody have a hint for me how to solve that?
Manythanks,
Jo
Same problem
I also have the same problem...pls help us....

There is a problem with the 3g module, you have to use the chinese firmware.

Another point I wanted to add was...you can easily install the google play in the phone brought from china by rooting the phone and with the help of 'RE explorer' app you can put three apk files in the given link into system/app folder....then reboot the phone thats it....google play will work...follow this link----http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=31236432

Problems with Chinese phone (Koobee Halo H1)

I was in China recently and bought a Koobee Halo H1 but even when the language is changed to English, it still gives system updates in Chinese and won't let me install Google Play or anything related.
I tried flashing it with the official ROM from NeedRom and it seemed to work but now the screen is completely unresponsive (the screen turns on but the touch screen won't respond when it's pressed). I've tried reflashing it, updating it and so on but the same problem always arises.
Would anyone have any suggestions on how I can get it to use an English operating system that can use Google Play?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Question Android 13 bootloop with certain language package

I recently updated the Pixel 6s of my parents to Android 13 via OTA. They are using Turkish language package but both phones were stuck in a bootloop. After resetting one of the devices the problem was still occuring. As soon as i took the SIM card out and restarted the issue was gone (still on Turkish LP) but the devices started to bootloop again when the SIM card was inserted. I don't know why but I changed one of the devices to German and the phone was booting without an error. After changing back to Turkish the device functioned normally until i did a manual restart it then stuck again in a bootloop.
It's such a strange issue and I couldn't find any solution to it why both of the devices bootloop with the Turkish LP
There might be something wrong with the so-called per-app language setting which is no much better than Google said.
Have a look into that topic incl. some possible solutions, it seems you are not the only one experience that problem.
Cheers
Tom
Thanks Tom, i will wait for the September update as it should be available in approx. 2 weeks. I hope it gets fixed by then.
