You'll most likely have to pay VAT on that as go qualify for Ex-VAT you will need a VAT/Company number. You may also be subject to sales tax in New York.

Ordered mine from handtec (live in Maryland), there's no vat added to U.S. orders. There may be city/state tax, but I'm not sure how NY handles that.

That's my understanding as well.
I ordered online with Radio Shack, and I have the same screen. I called them up, and they said they are not yet authorized to ship.
I'm in black, rep in red.

I'm gonna guess 179.99 and 50 cashback if using BofA add it up. I did the same thing and I had my order since the 6th. I'm sitting here checking my email at least ten times a day waiting for this thing to be shipped already. This can drive a sane man nuts I tell ya!!

Amazon does show it back ordered on the Add To Cart screen, but when you're ready to pay for it the delivery date is June 28th. That's right on spot with their free 2-day shipping.

Most likely bank of america add it up cash back ($50). $180-$50 = 130.
You get $50 in 6-8 weeks if you order it through the add it up website. Wasn't worth the hassle and you can't switch the phone to a different line on your account for the 1st six months or you get charged like $350.

Definitely cheaper in Malaysia; not too sure about Singapore. The S3 costs an exorbitant 500 pounds in the UK(and I'll assume it's the same in the rest of Europe), while it costs 440 pounds in Malaysia. So, if you think 60 pounds is worth saving, then definitely get it in Malaysia or Singapore.

How do you know what is the price in Malaysia?
Malaysia sell Galaxy S3 for 415 pound UK.
But you must noted, warranty coverage in Malaysia only.

That's about 420 to 441 pounds.
You might be able to get an additional 7% GST refund at the airport when you leave the country but you need to find one of those shops which are able to provide you with the GST refund receipt.

Am sure lot has been already said in this thread but just a piece of caution from me... do buy with an international warranty buddy... else the cost benefit doesn't really matter. Apart from discounts do not forget to collect V.A.T. Yes but when converted into UK prices its the cheapest listed today.
In all honesty when has any tech let alone a phone ever sold for its actual rrp? I would expect to get this free on a 2yr £30 contract easy. I may be wrong and I may then get an Ativ S but I really don't see it being more than that (carriers may try more but I mean shopping around).

I do fancy a WP8 device to run as a secondary to my Nexus and the 920 or Ativ S are the best two so far and personally I the 920 would be the choice as it is "different" and no one is going to think it is a S3. The 8X is too small. Given the fact the Lumia 800 is now £150 I reckon I should be able to pick a 920 up for less than £200 in 6-8 months. All I need to do is resist getting the 5" HTC Nexus that could be on the way.
Thats a lot of money for a lot of phone . gonna give it some time till prices get better and then buy me the 920. If i can convince myself to wait !!!

I remember last year trying to pre-order the Nexus 6 was a nightmare, so I want to make sure I get my order in early.
So glad they stuck with the amoled screen and the dual front facing speakers. The metallic build is a bonus too, I found the Nexus 6 felt cheap.

Where is it £450? I watched the live event (still on now) and they didn't mention UK pricing.

Yep, I ordered mine and got the same date for estimated shipping. Ordered 128gb Aluminium and also the Quartz case and new chromecast and chrome audio.
Went for the 64GB in frost. Probably wouldn't have bothered, but with google refunding me for my nexus 5 (3rd replacement!) it won't end up costing me much to change.
Guys be aware that payments might decline if your bank flags them under fraud alert. If you get declined, go to wallet.google.com and check the history as well as checking that your payment information is up to date and if still no joy, contact your bank if they haven't contacted you already. I tried three times and got declined each time. Got an automated call from Santander and lifted the block on the card. Processed on 4th occasion with 2-5 November estimated shipping.

I doubt that it will work but you can try. The only issue is getting to the UK Play Store from Italy. You'll be directed to your home country store so you'll have to figure out a way to access UK store - maybe through VPN?

You can buy directly from Samsung at one of their stores (there are only 4 or 5 in the whole country, though) or online from http://www.samsung.com/ca/consumer/mobile-devices/smartphones/galaxy-note/galaxy-note7/shop/
In the past, I have always just purchased directly from a carrier and then used cellunlocker.net or something like that to unlock it for $15-20. Works like a charm.
Will that work for a US phone?

Have you used that recently and does that void any warranties or anything like that? sorry if that's a dumb question.
After best buy screwing up the last half dozen pre-orders ive done I swore no matter how much cheaper it was not to get it from them this time

No, it doesn't void warranties (it's just like when you finish your contract and your carrier provides you the unlock code). And yes, I have done it recently. That's how I got my S7 edge - bought it from Rogers on a new line, then promptly cancelled my contract.

So if I'm on an installment plan I shouldn't do this?
It is just frustrating having to wait a month from release to sales. I want to get the phone with my carrier and they won't even do pre-orders.

You can do this anytime. Most wireless providers will also give you the unlock code for a price during your contract period (at least here in Canada).
