[Q] Completely restore stock T-Mobile ROM and everything? - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've been searching on how to completely restore my (T-Mobile) HD2 on this forum for a while and haven't came to it, so sorry if I'm repeating any threads.
Basically I'm fairly novice in flashing and things in that nature. I've been flashing updating Energy ROMs on my HD2 for about six months since I got the phone. Which was fairly simple to do. Since WP7 ROMs, I've switched over to flashing those. The problem is that 99%, it'll flash fine, then won't get past the boot screen. And on the rare occasion it does get past it, I can't turn it off, or else I'll have to trying getting past the screen 1000 more times to be successful. I think I have all the requirements to run WP7, but not exactly sure.
So I would like to know what to download and flash/ install for it to be as if I bought this from T-Mobile today.
Thanks!

I need help with this too..I craked my screen and am going to send it to t-Mobile so they can send me a new one, but I want to put it to factory reset. Ive looked all over cant find them...the post a couple up...links are dead

you do realize that if you cracked your screen your warranty is already void. it doesn't matter what software you are running at this point.

Sorry for MY late reply, but I put this phone away for a while and now my dad wants to use it. I've gone though the steps, but I can't get past "6. Hold the volume down key and power on your phone. As soon as the coloured screen changes to grey, RELEASE volume down." It never turns grey. I'm one step from taking this phone and throwing it out my window to see it shatter.

I have done a dozen of flashings on my Tmobile HD2 and works fine so far. Thanks to XDA forum all the tools I need are available right here on XDA !!! You just to search them out yourself (sorry I don't have the links ....... ).
I suppose you know how to flash your phone so I will not explain details how to do it.
In brief, to install WP7 this is what I suggest you should do -
1. Update flash radio to the latest available update from Tmobile US website, regardless of what ROM you have at present (version 2.15.50.14 is the latest, I think).
2. Flash HSPL 2.08 to your phone to maximize 576 RAM usage, if you have it (do not use SPL 2.08.000 as this will recognize only 448 RAM size).
2. Use Task29 to clean out the existing the existing ROM on your phone (this will erase your OS and you will only be booting on the white HTC logo screen). This will clear out those ROM leftovers on your phone.
3. Flash magdlr 1.12 or 1.13 on your phone (press power button on boot to show magdlr menu).
4. On magdlr menu scroll down to no.5 USB flasher, connect your phone to pc and run dwi.exe on your WP7 installer and wait till installation has completed.
I have done these procedures a dozen times already I have not encountered problems so far. I have been flashing and flashing to choose the best ROM (WP7 or WM6.5.x) I want. On personal note, I think I would settle for WM6.5.x cooked ROMs because of usability and handiness (I find WP7 too complicated to deal in terms of tweaks and handling of personal videos/photos file security).
Some notes:
a. You need to flash radio and HSPL only once.
b. Use Task29 every time you need to install a new ROM (your choice, but recommended).
c. After Task29 you can start out clean and flash to stock ROM or any other rom you choose.
d. There are dozens of videos on YouTube to help you flash but I have not seen one using Task29 to start the process of flashing.
This works for me, hope it does to you as well. Good luck !!!

xv6800 ActiveSync & ROM Flash Issue.

Hey, I just tried to install DCD's newest ROM and it looks as if i may of bricked my phone. When i connect it to my PC, Active Sync will not even pick it up. this happened right after i ran Hard-SPL-MFG to unlock the phone... I did try and run the titan_exitbl but no luck. I also attempted to run the relocker but i would not even run.. any ideas?
thanks!
recover from flash
Are you at the 3 color screen? If so you need to unplug the USB and replug it again as per the instructions. You MUST follow the instructions EXACTLY or your flashing will be very scary experience.
If you are not at the 3 color screen, you need to get back to the bootloader by pressing power+camera and soft reset. This will get you to the 3 color screen. Then have a look at the version of bootloader you have. If it doesnt say Olipro 1.20 or 2.40 you still have the locked bootloader and you can flash a stock carrier rom. If you have 2.40 you can flash to the 3.16+ rom and then flash the new radio this way or via sd card install which will be more painless and less scary.
If you dont know what an sd card flash is, I would search the forums here. Over at ppcgeeks you can look up imcokeman's posts and see instructions how to do a sd flash.
If you are are real noob, I would suggest staying with non gps roms at this stage because the change of radio rom needed to enable you to flash a gps rom will almost certainly lead to sleepless nights wondering if you have bricked your machine.
Most important thing to realise is that the machine is almost certainly not bricked. But you might have a few more scary moments before you get your machine back working again. You might also need to call your carriers service desk a number of times to get your provisioning data back working.
Check all the way through these two posts and dont sweat too much. With effort you will get your machine back. The answer to your problems is listed in one of these threads, but you need to dig a fair bit to find it. The posts contain lots of problems that people had flashing this rom, and I am sure your exact problem was there and solved. Its I believe somewhere in the second link I have listed here.
Good luck. i feel for you.

It doesn't need to active sync. Once it switches to USB you are ready to flash.
Stuck at Verizon Screen/HTC Mobilty Screen
If you are stuck at the VZW screen then you have only flashed one of the two essential parts. You need both (ROM and RADIO) to make it work. 3.16+ ROM will not work with the old radio. You need 3.27 radio.
Use the camera+power+soft reset and you can flash the one (new radio or new ROM) that you are missing.
See dcd's thread about the 2.3.2 rom. He has added a HUGE new disclaimer.

Well nothing really worked so i used a sd card to flash back to the stock verizon ROM, i then attempted it again and got it all working!!!

ROM update failure, sync problem??

Hi,
Sorry to stat a thread on this but can't find anything similar.
I've flashed a lot of ROM's prior. Thought I was fairly comfortable with it.
Currently, I have EnergyROM 6.5 and wanted to try another.
I can establish the connection with phone/computer (1st beep), then the second beep happens (activesync). Then I run the AthenaWrapper and it starts. It restarts the phone. I hear the first beep but never the second. The progress bar stays at 0% and eventually there is a communication error.
This happens with NATF's 6.5 ROM as well as the stock ATT rom.
Any suggestions on fixing this problem?
PS - the 'contacts' button at the bottom of the home screen... are those remapable? I have a mandatory program (Good Messaging) which has its own contacts program. Once I've installed it, the contacts button goes to it instead of the built-in contacts. That's not what I want.

I had no idea what "Athenawrapper" was until I Googled Athena. The good news is I've solved your problem. The bad news is that you have a PEBCAK
error.
"Athena" is an entirely different piece of hardware from a Raphael , so it's RUU WILL NOT WORK with a Raphael. Frankly, I think you're lucky you didn't succeed in bricking the phone completely. You need to use the RaphaelWrapper to flash a Raphael.
On the off chance that you actually have an Athena, and are trying to flash it with a Raphael ROM, then you're still begging to have your hardware bricked. Most ROMs are not compatible outside of the hardware for which they are written.
You need to:
Figure out what hardware you have.
Go to that bulletin board.
Read the sticky threads there to learn how to flash properly.
Get to work.
Hi,
Well your explanation makes sense... however, the stock ATT ROM I downloaded from the raphael ROM development section and have successfully flashed a prior Fuze with before (I had to return it for warranty). It is the same file that worked then, that is not now.
But it is not working now AFTER I tried the NATF ROM which I'm pretty darn sure I directly downloaded from a link in the Raphael section. Perhaps it was a misguided link or something, and then it damaged the phone such that previously working ROM's now won't flash?
Chris
addendum...I know for sure it was the NATF ROM from Raphael section...
it is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=539513
If you did a HardSPL to load NATF's ROM, then you cannot flash back to the OEM ROM without first removing HardSPL.
So (and this is the second time in as many days ), here's my recommendation:
Myrddin Wyllt said:
Here's my recommended procedure:
Back up your PIM data, if needed.
Remove HardSPL.
Run your service provider's ROM installation.
Install HardSPL.
Download the NATF ROM (YES...DO IT AGAIN)
Flash the ROM.
Hard reset when you get to the screen alignment.
Yes, I know I'm yelling, but that's because you don't appear to be paying attention.
It would also be helpful if you'd put your device info in your user signature.

Re-downloading the NATF ROM ensures that you don't have a corrupted copy.
Myrddin,
Interesting name, how do you pronounce that?
1) I learned from you today about the HardSPL having to be removed. That I did not know, so thank you.
2) Back on the computer I flash with, I confirmed the wrapper files... first line does say Raphael Wrapper, under that it says Athenawrapper, then under that it says LSD creations.
3) I'll assume since you quoted your previous advice, the yelling and not paying attention comments were not directed at me
4) I'll do what you instruct master!
That's why we like the wise sages of the forum!
chris
It's Welsh, and it's pronounced Merlin, most of the time (Merthin is more accurate, though).
No, the yelling was not exactly directed at you, just at newbies everywhere. Take no offense, I merely wanted to place a great deal of emphasis on certain aspects of the process. It helps us help you.
M
Hi,
Well, somehow I managed to get back to the stock ATT Rom. I'm not sure how to remove HardSPL specifically as searching that topic doesn't bring up any specific threads (at least in the Raphael forum).
I thought since I had got the ATT rom to work, I coul ddo a 6.5 ROM, but I'm running into the same communication error I had before.
Very specifically, everything starts up fine. It causes my phone to restart.
The USB connection noise happens, but then I never get the activesync alert noise, so the download indicator stays at 0% and I get a communication error.
If I just plug my phone into the computer, it starts up activesync just fine.
Any suggestions? And if it is HardSPL, where's the instructions to remove that?
Thanks again,
Chris
Well shoot,
It must be my lucky day.. I did find some instructions for hardspl, did that.. and I think things are about to be working...
Nevermind on the last post for now!

Hey everybody,
My phone is stuck in an infinite restart loop when i tried to revert back to the original rom without replacing the hardspl. Is there anything that can be done for that?

Most often this is the result of a bad flash or a corrupt ROM. Try putting the phone in Bootloader mode (see the wiki for instruction), and download the ROM again (delete your old copy to avoid confusion). Try the flash once more, and don't forget to do a hard reset when you get to the screen calibration the first time.

[Q] The first time I've ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unflashable HTC HD2

After thousands words, hundreds attempts I'm giving up and bringing up this discussion on this forum..I really hope your experience and deep knowledge of subject finally will help me..I live overseas and use to order HTC HD2 T-mobile for my friends and some times just for sale..It was my 7-th T-mobile HTC HD2 when I got problem with flashing custom ROM...I installed HSPL 2.08 and started to flash my usual custom ROM via USB for T-mobile 1024,I took out sim card and memory stick before flashing..When I finished I did a soft reset and got frozen STICK TOGETHER screen...Phone just stuck...Forgot to say that before flashing I format device with Task 29..So I format it again and flash one more time, process itself was successful , but again I got STICK TOGETHER and that's it...I decided to flash another radio, CORRECT one (50) special fot T-mobile 1024, after several updates error phone just died..I got a brick, I couldn't even go to bootloader mode..I reanimate device with JTAG, and tried almost all official ROMs, I flashed them via usb, using memory card..Sometimes during flashing it stopes and I have to reboot, sometimes i got a sign on screen that update is completed, but when I turn device on nothing happened..I tried MTTY method, didn't help...I don't really know what to do now..May be I missed something important but as I said I'm not a noob already, and have red tonnes of information regarding flashing ROMS... Any ideas would be highly appreciated, i still hope that is just software problem not hardware, otherwise I can just throw it away...thanks for reading this story

Yeah, you either need a new motherboard or use JTAG to reflash the bootloader..

[Q] HTC HD2: erratic stuck in bootloader

Hi All,
I have a HTC HD2 TMobile USA. I'm experimenting some issues when rebooting the phone.
The phone works fine but when I reboot it, it stucks (lots of time) in the bootloader screen. Sometimes, after rebooting several times it works. Other times, I have to hard reset and then it works again.
I tried the following and it didn't fix the problem:
* Flash new radio (now 2.15.50.14)
* Flash new ROM (now last Energy with build 29xxx)
Any thought around this issue?
Thanks,
Pipaman
Please help with this issue.
If you need any clarification just ask me but the issue really exist and I cannot send the phone to the service because I'm in a different country.
If I was you I would firstly Reinstall your T-Mobile stock ROM follow by a Hard reset and than reinstalling a Custom ROM follow by a Hard reset.
I don't get in what way that is different to restore the TMobile original ROM. I did that several times before installing a new ROM.
I did that:
* I flahed a stock rom: Now I'm back to stick together screen.
It was working fine until I reboot after a couple of days. Then, it doesn't start again: stuck in 'Stick together' screen.
It's very weird because if I hard reset the phone it works again but it's impossible to live with a phone that cannot be restarted.
I tried changing the SD card to see if that was the problem and the same: after some time using the phone I cannot restart it.
i have t_mobile also and this thing happend to me after flashed back from wp7. and android,....i did task 29 then frelash custome rom .reflash radio.reformat sd,took my sim out and clean it,and now its good, dont know if this thing will back, hope not ; )
I tried that but the same. After using sometime the phone it doesn't reboot again. I tried everything here, I'm near to throw it to the wall

Just a question, do you have good battery connection? are the pins in normal state?
Thank you for your answer.
Yes, all the battery pins are fine. To clarify this point: if I hard reset the phone it works fine until I use it normally. I mean, if I reboot the phone after hard reset it reboots perfect.
However, if I start using it installing any stuff, set-up facebook profile or email accounts, the phone works fine until I reboot it.
Now, I'm using a stock ROM:
TMOUS_3.14.531.1
Radio 2.15.50.14_2
I tried different ROMs and different Radios and it's exactly the same: after using a couple of days if I reboot it, it will stay in the bootloader forever until I hard reset it again.
I found that if I don't configure facebook profile the phone lasts more but it's very weird and annoying.
Hey i got the same problem as you did. It's behavior is erratically. Given the fact that the phone is out of the box. . dude i didn't mod. I feel uncertain using such device when it can go back to "stick together screen" at anything. If i were you, I would just send the device for replacement. That's the reason why people buy iphone. I can see there are tremendous info flowing around here, but ppl seems too busy with developing, no one seems to care about troubleshooting.
Good to hear that I'm not alone with this issue. Unfortunately, I've bought the phone in the US in a trip and I'm in Argentina now so replacement is not a possibility
I understand now why people buy iPhone even. My problem is that I like to hear FM Radio and in my country the best GPS maps are for Garmin that has WM support.
For me this phone was exactly what I wanted. Of course, if it works!
At this point I tried everything: different Radios, different ROMs, not installing anything, etc. but it always happen again.
Now, I try not to reset the phone and I'm very careful to charge it everyday! It looks like I bought a tamagotchi.
What is the SPL version in Bootloader mode?
I'm using SPL 2.8 but the same issue was happening with the default bootloader.
I am just a bit confused, you say you have SPL 2.08(.0000 or .HSPL) and a 3.14 TMOUS ROM.
If that is the case then the RAM would be very low and possibly running Facebook would freeze it.
I'm using:
SPL 2.8 (I cannot verify exactly the version because I don't want to reboot the phone )
OS Version: 21913.5.0.94
Manila: 2.5.20181424.0
ROM: 3.14.531.1
Radio: 2.15.50.14
Protocol: 15.42.50.11U
I identified that Facebook was generating some lack of stability so I don't use it at all, not even to show the photos in the contacts.
I tried to use different ROMs but the stuck at bootloader was the same and I got some problems when the phone became locked: I was unable to unlock it so I had to reboot and guess what happened in the bootloader (I tried Energy ROM with both OS versions, I tried also Task29 before flashing)

BINGO. your absolutely right about that.
Issues with hanging and rebooting have been popular and if you try sd card ROM installation and "RSA radio fail" comes out while flashing then its probably a hardware problem and theory is that it is from heat so advice, get a replacement. I think there is a batch of hd2 phones that have faulty manufacturing

[Q] HTC Titan Fully Unlocked (DFT Freedom ROM V1 Eternity 24 Langs Pearl Edition)

Hello. My HTC Titan is fully unlocked as I installed a custom ROM, right? That gives me the right to download XAP's from the inbuilt browser on my phone. I have installed Supermusic, XAPhandler and Devstore7 on my phone. Now, when I turn the phone off, and try to turn it back on, it stops at the HTC boot logo and the red mini-light on left-top corner is on. The only way to use my phone again is to go to SPL mode and factory reset everything. I have been doing this for a week now and Iam getting so irritated.
Does anybody have any idea what it could be?
Also, when installed a custom rom, the apps on your phone get access to your full device. Does this increase the usage of RAM? I know that my phone is morevulnerable for malware because it is running a custom Rom. Is there any sort of antivirus app or software I can install to reduce the chances of getting infected?
I would be very greatful if somebody who knows about fully unlocking a device could answer my questions.
Thanks
I recommend flashing the ROM again.
Remember, when flashing a ROM, your computer should be doing nothing else but that. Close off processes if you have to in order to free up RAM before flashing.
It isn't uncommon to get a "Bad" flash or even a bad download before the flash. So re-download and then re-flash from a Flash-ready computer.
Hope this helps ya, let us know.

I really REALLY REEEEALLY hope that it doesn't work for you.
The custom ROMs were awaited hopefully so that we could support our homebrew community that make some fantastic functionalities available on our phones. If you want to pirate stuff, kick developers' balls and then expect other developers to help you when pirate xaps f*** things up on your phone - I think every second anyone helps you, a cat dies somewhere in this world.
Please pay for the apps and support the developers instead of stealing their hardwork. It costs them their normal lives, eyes and hours of football matches.
MOD Notice
Do not discuss obtaining paid for apps for free, we do not support piracy on XDA. Support the developers, purchase the Apps!!
I am sorry
Right. I am sorry. I will buy these apps from now on
Pardon me for my bad behaviour, it wasn't meant to offence anybody.
Sorry once again.
And Btw, can I install things like homebrew apps now, because I have fully unlocked my ROM? What about Devstore7 and such? Any good idea how to tweak my phone with the registry editor? I am trying to set the WIFI to always on, is that possible?
I am only wondering, no offence to anybody.
Thanks,
Tabbii
Did you solve the reboot hanging problem? I'm not using any shady apps, hell I'm not using many apps at all at this point. Waiting for the HSPL fixed (mine is one of those stuck on 2.5 and can't flash HSPL or custom ROM).
Any way. Mine just started doing some weird ****. Some of my zune content can't be synced successfully (meaning it syncs and when I look for it on my phone it is a black box only. Some pics and music are just black icons, no labels and not there.) I connect to zune again and it says do more with a zune pass. I have a zune pass. Any way. I reboot the phone thinking that was gonna help and when it came back up, it had done a half ass hard reset (meaning nothing was there and had to go thru the motions of setting it up again, but in settings/about only 3GB was free)
So I flashed the stock ROM again from RUU not gold card (last time I did it thru gold card) upon completion, I set it back up, sync a couple songs and pics to it and I reboot it, no problem. So I sync some more to it, no problem after reboot. so I'm thinking it's good. So I do a FULL sync and install a few apps, then reboot. all good!
Then I install a few more apps and all have a problem and say needs attention, click here. I do and retry, but failed on all of them. so I reboot the phone (knowing what was gonna happen) well, this time it sat on good bye forever, never completely shut down, so I take the battery out and put it back in and start it up and for the first time it hangs on the HTC screen. So I go into SPL mode then try to boot again, hangs still. So I go back to SPL and so factory reset and now Im setting my phone up for the 3rd time today!
Any ideas?
I didn't want to give every app access to my phone so I installed Ultrashot's ROM. It has a root manager application to choose which apps have root access. Since you're gonna reflash anyways, I suggest trying Ultrashot's. I think it has more features than the DFT ROM, but you can decide that.
Good luck!

Any ideas?

Geez, it seems that 98% of people who have the ATT Titans are having problems. I guess I must've lucked out when everything went A ok for me. I haven't been reading lately, so I am assuming you tried to debrand the device first by flashing the Euro stock rom? Did you try to upgrade the SPL to 2.6 from the HTC website?
Anyway, alright you said you flashed back to stock ROM -this is the ATT rom I'm assuming right? If so, try flashing BACK to the EURO rom. And do it through goldcard. After flashing the Euro rom...do a hard reset and see if it boots normally. Then I would try to upgrade the SPL again? to 2.6. If that doesn't work. Try to flash BACK to the ATT rom...do a hard reset and see if it works.
Wow, I must say that this is the craziest thing I've ever seen! It just reset again! This time. I was syncing an auto playlist (And I knew it was gonna be jacked up when the device summary screen had this "just removed from device (1 item)" and upon opening that up to see what was in it, it was blank!) and my wife sent me a text, I tried to unlock the screen, and it wouldn't unlock, in fact it seized the device up. The lock screen was partially slid up and stuck. So I waited with no luck.
I unplugged from PC and took battery out, then booted it back up. It took forever to boot up and was presented with setting up device for first time use (I figured). When I did and I get that same new device setup text, I noticed that there were still texts from yesterday in there and went to home screen and all my tiles from apps were still there but I when I tried to launch any of them, the screen just started to animated as if it were about to launch the app, then stopped. So couldn't launch anything.
I'm thinking that there is something with my zune setup doing this. So this time, I am booting my PC into Windows 8 and installing zune and try to sync the same content and see what happens!
Now before Mango, sometimes when I downloaded albums with zune pass on my HD7, some songs would lock up the phone. Meaning that the music would suddenly stop playing and if I hit play, skip, next or even played new playlist, it would seize the phone and force a reboot. I still have those songs on my PC and they play fine on the PC and the phone now since Mango, but zune did freak out a few months ago and created this random playlist named ".rcszasdfaskl23" some weird name starting with a ".rcs" and in that playlist were those songs that caused the phone to seize. The weird thing about this playlist is, it is in zune as content, but it is not listed in the playlist folder in windows explorer.
Any way, I'll report back after syncing with Win 8.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1386926 this sounds like the problem you're having. There might be something useful on there!
Good luck!
I was just about to update this and say I think that it is a memory capacity issue! That's exactly it. Thanks eeeelliott

Hey xconomicron,
What were your exact steps that you followed? This is the first time that I heard an ATT Titan owner installing a Euro ROM first. I ordered all of the parts to install using y-cable but I'd rather install via software only.
Never mind. found the answer I was looking for. Sry.
@xconomicron
Thanks for reply. Upon receiving my y-cable and having my gold card all ready to go with the DFT SPL (2.05) on it. It did that first (just as all the directions said to do) after success, I tried the HSPL. The PC screen said success, but the Titan said otherwise. It comes back to SPL2.5 (really 2.05 but showing 2.5), This SPL will not allow ANY other ROM other than US Cingular 1.10 to be flashed (I've tried them all Gold Card method or RUU method). I've tried the HTC SPL 2.6 and it too says success, but the phone says NOPE!
So, I'm stuck with this AT&T crapy ROM that is locked out and the only thing I can do is force update it to 8107 (which only keeps the keyboard from disappearing as far I can tell). And now only to find out that my phone also has this memory capacity problem (when I fill it beyond 70% the phone freaks out and must do a hard reset to remedy).
I know that Cotulla is working on the SPL thing (asked for testers last week) and if I can, I plan to hold out to see if a custom ROM fixes this memory problem.
Thanks
You have to install HSPL to flash custom ROMs. Its in the Windows Phone Development forum as DFT HTC Second Gen HSPL or something

I realize that, but for whatever reason, mine and a few other AT&T Titans will not accept the HSPL. The SPL 2.05 will not downgrade back to 1.10 or accept HSPL or OSPL or custom ROM or EUR ROM. I've tried all by gold card and RUU.

So you're having an issue flashing the compatible SPL with GoldCard?
There have been many problems with that. Make sure you made your GoldCard correctly and the cable configuration is correct. Y USB cables usually have one thinner wire, and usually carries only power, so it's most likely that the power will go there. Then the SD card (or flash drive) and phone go in the other two. Mine worked with the power on the thin wire, phone on the middle port that's connected to both, and the flash drive on the other end. This wasn't the configuration in the GoldCard thread, so the guide's might not work. Really, there's I think 6 possible configurations so it wouldn't hurt to try them all.
Good luck!

I believe that this issue with AT&T Titan arises for those who directly flashed (through goldcard) DFT spl 2.05. Once the DFT spl 2.05 rom is installed there is no way of going back to stock cingular rom spl 1.10 or ability to debrand phone to euro version (even goldcard method will not work). Debranding At&t Titan to Euro rom v2.5 first before flashing the DFT spl2.05 is the best route to take, it also ensure that the phone is fully compatible with all the known custom roms, except for nhathoa rom, all are based on euro rom and radio version.

It would be in your best bet to go and read the other threads. One in particularly...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1693334
Basically, MOST ATT branded devices are having problems installing the DFT 2.5 SPL+HSPL. In fact, those that have tried to directly flash DFT's 2.05(2.5) SPL -without debranding the device to the EURO rom listed in the link- are usually stuck on the 2.5 SPL without being able to flash anything else at all. -Which means, no installing roms, upgrading/downgrading SPL's.
The steps I used are on that thread. Habnzrot has also listed the steps he used to successfully debrand his device and install DFT's HSPL/Custom Rom.
Follow the steps carefully...Debranding your device is your number one priority BEFORE doing anything else!
If you need any help just ask.
Okay guys. I think somebody should post a thread that explains how to install the original OSPL and stock rom to their device. Many are having issues. I have this memory capacity issue myself. I hard reset my phone at least 3 times a day.
Could anybody WHO knows how to install stock OSPL and rom post a guide for that? I would be very glad if somebody could.
I have started this thread "Install OSPL(and original rom) after installing any custom rom with HSPL." in Titan windows phone development. I hope you guys will participate in that thread.
Thanx
