[Q] SC-06D Galaxy S3 USB Tethering DNS Problem

Has anyone else tested the USB tethering feature built into the Galaxy S3 SC-06D Docomo ROM version? The Wifi Hotspot seems to work fine (private IP addresses), but the USB tethering uses a 5.x.x.x IP address and the DHCP does not assign a DNS IP address. I have tried to manually enter DNS IP addresses but I may be using the wrong one because it might have to be local to NTT's network.
I never had this problem with USB tethering my SC-02C Galaxy S2.
Any help would be appreciated.
I have more serious problem:
My S3 SC-06D cannot use tethering by the stock ROM. No usb tethering and no wifi tethering.
The thing is, as long as I turn on the tethering, my 3G or H icon would be disappeared.
Weird enough.

[Q] wifi ip problem

Hi, I'm new here..
I have a problem with my htc desire x wifi configuration. My ip for wifi is 192.168.1.7 and my router have 192.168.1.1 adress. I can connect to my home network but I cannot browse anything, or use play store. My device tells me there is no connection! What should I do? And I can not change my ip address also!
Tnx
The issue is most probably with router settings, not the device itself. Go to rooter settings (given IP address by the provider) and check there.

[Q] My tablet won't connect to my network?

I've been trying to connect to my Wi-Fi network, but for some reason it wouldn't connect. The only way it would connect is by disabling Mac Address Filtering on my router. Is there a way that I can connect to it without doing it? I've been trying to search for answers on google but I haven't found any. My router is the Netgear r6300 if any of you want to know.
The Mac address from your tablet is stated in the router as trusted address??
