Here's a little tip to make the NC's lockscreen a little bit more comfortable:
1. Go to: Settings->CyanogenMod settings->Lockscreen->Lockscreen gestures
2. Hit "Build gestures" and then "Add gesture"
3. Click the "Action" button and then choose "Shortcut or activity"
4. Select an app or shortcut you want to be able to launch from the lockscreen
5. Draw a gesture
6. Hit "Done"
Of course, you can also set an unlock gesture which will allow you to disable the unlock sliders in the "Unlock options".
You can now launch your shortcut from the lockscreen by drawing the assigned gesture. This is often faster and more convenient than "unlocking and launching" for your most used apps.
A few examples from my setup:
- circle (or O) launches Opera Mobile
- "P" launches Pulse
- "U" launches Unifies Remote - extremely useful when watching movies.
There is other crazy stuff you can do, for example launching GScripts, but I haven't figured out anything useful for that yet. Maybe you can give me some input on this
I hope you find this tip useful. Please share your ideas about how to make the most out of those lockscreen gestures!

I'm running Launcher Pro, I have my notification bar hidden, and I'd like to have a shortcut on the launcher to open the notification bar. I'm not sure how to go about doing this.
I tried to go through Launcher Pro's activity list, but I didnt see anything for the notification bar. I could probably figure out how to create a Launcer Pro shortcut if I knew which command was being executed to open the notification bar.
The alternative is to press the menu key and then the notification button, but pressing two things is harder than simply pressing one...
Any help would be appreciated.
Pretty sure you can map it to the home button

You can do it through LauncherPro. When you click on the LauncherPro dock, select Swipe gesture action and then you can pick open notification bar. Then for the button on the dock you just set this to, you can swipe your finger up and it will open your notification bar
You have a couple options for this.
1:
A. Long press any of the icons on your Launcher.
B. Select "Swipe gesture action"
C. Select "Open notifications"
D. Now when you swipe up on that icon, the notification bar will open.
2:
A. Press "Menu"
B. Press "Preferences"
C. Press "Behavior Settings"
D. Press "Home key action"
E. Press "Open/Close notifcations"
F. Now when you press the home key, the notification bar will open.
G. You can set it to still send you to your home screen first by selecting "Home key to default screen" on the "Behavior Settings" page.
I knew there would be smart people here who had figured this out. These worked and solved my problem. Thank you!

I don't take credit for this, just found it and wanted to share if anyone needs it. Follow URL below

It's on page 33 of the manual, it says:
Adding and Removing Primary Shortcuts
You can change any of your primary shortcuts with the exception
of the Applications and Home shortcuts.
1. Press to activate the Home screen.
2. Tap to display your current applications.
3. Press and tap Edit.
4. If the Reorganize icons screen is displayed, tap Switch.
5. Read the Edit applications information and tap OK (this only
displays the first time you edit the Applications menu).
6. Scroll through the list and locate your desired application.
7. Touch and hold the on-screen icon, then drag it over the
primary shortcut that you want to replace. The new
primary shortcut then appears at the bottom of the screen.
The old primary shortcut will return to the application
menu.
8. Press and tap Save.
9. Press to return to the Home screen.
The new primary shortcut will now appear on all Home
screens.
there is WAY to many steps to do that.
I enjoy that it is easy to access the themer menu easily, but it triggers very frequently when I am using the dialer widget. Is there any way to disable the menu?
Have had same issue as have others m8,the developers are looking into it
For the moment, you can uncheck "Lock homescreen Widgets" in Advanced Settings > Desktop, I think that's a little bit more slowly to appear.

The problem is that Themer has "double tap" for Themer Menu in the Gestures. When using the Dialer widget you type the first 2 numbers and it thinks you double tapped. Wish I could disable this gesture.

Well I find that it triggers much too easy as only a long press menu as well. In your case, just disable the double tap gesture in the settings.
But yea, that menu is popping up all the time for me when I don't want it to. Would like more settings for this. I have it set to pop up with long press on the home button. That is good enough for me. No need for it on the screen. An option to disable would be great.
Also would like an option to get rid of the red X on long presses when widgets are unlocked.
Hi I love theme and so far it has been working very well for me with limited bugs. However I have one big issue with the design. I frequently accidentally open the themer menu by long pressing the screen when I'm trying to interact with widgets or other on screen elements. It is especially cumbersome when dealing with apps that create on screen overlays . I really like how Nova allows you to choose how to open their menu. Even if you don't change how the menu is opened can you change the long press delay. I feel if it was a little longer, like the stock Google launcher it would be perfect.
Themer with Nova Launcher? Dont know what you mean.

Hi,
Are you sure you are long pressing on the homescreen and not double tapping? You are able to disable the double-tap gesture in the Gesture settings (via the Themer Settings) however the long press gesture is built into the app. In the future this gesture might be added to the gesture list. Sorry for the inconvenience.

No I have disabled the double tap gesture. I just wish I could also disable the long press gesture or even increase the long press delay just slightly. Thanks for the information though.

On allmost all smartphones it is possible to screenshot what is currently shown on display by pressing VOLUME-DOWN + ONOFF
Moreover my old non-Samsung smartphone offers an additional button "Scroll" which (when tapped) let the capture procedure automatically scroll down to capture the whole dialog/window
How can I achieve this auto-scoll-down+capture in Samsung A52S?
It should be exactly the same way. When you take a screenshot, a little toolbar appears at the bottom and you tap the button that looks like a down button. If you don't have the toolbar, check your settings by going to: Settings > Advanced features > Screenshots & screen recorder > Screenshot toolbar. Make sure the toggle is on. If you still don't have it, check you have the app Samsung Capture installed and if not you can only download it from the Galaxy Store.
Ok, thank you. I found the button.
BUT; When I tap on it the screenshot procedure behind scrolls down only ONE page.
If it is a loooong page I have to tap 5 or 6 or even more times to capture really the whole dialog.
Thats user unfriendly.
Is there a way to tell Android to capture everything automatically until the bottom of the dialog after first tap?
Is this scroll feature a Samsung feature on on ALL Android 12 smartphones?
