It's on page 33 of the manual, it says:
Adding and Removing Primary Shortcuts
You can change any of your primary shortcuts with the exception
of the Applications and Home shortcuts.
1. Press to activate the Home screen.
2. Tap to display your current applications.
3. Press and tap Edit.
4. If the Reorganize icons screen is displayed, tap Switch.
5. Read the Edit applications information and tap OK (this only
displays the first time you edit the Applications menu).
6. Scroll through the list and locate your desired application.
7. Touch and hold the on-screen icon, then drag it over the
primary shortcut that you want to replace. The new
primary shortcut then appears at the bottom of the screen.
The old primary shortcut will return to the application
menu.
8. Press and tap Save.
9. Press to return to the Home screen.
The new primary shortcut will now appear on all Home
screens.
there is WAY to many steps to do that.

Here's a little tip to make the NC's lockscreen a little bit more comfortable:
1. Go to: Settings->CyanogenMod settings->Lockscreen->Lockscreen gestures
2. Hit "Build gestures" and then "Add gesture"
3. Click the "Action" button and then choose "Shortcut or activity"
4. Select an app or shortcut you want to be able to launch from the lockscreen
5. Draw a gesture
6. Hit "Done"
Of course, you can also set an unlock gesture which will allow you to disable the unlock sliders in the "Unlock options".
You can now launch your shortcut from the lockscreen by drawing the assigned gesture. This is often faster and more convenient than "unlocking and launching" for your most used apps.
A few examples from my setup:
- circle (or O) launches Opera Mobile
- "P" launches Pulse
- "U" launches Unifies Remote - extremely useful when watching movies.
There is other crazy stuff you can do, for example launching GScripts, but I haven't figured out anything useful for that yet. Maybe you can give me some input on this
I hope you find this tip useful. Please share your ideas about how to make the most out of those lockscreen gestures!
I'm looking for a way to simulate pressing the "Home" hardware key at the bottom, to return to the Sense home tab, without actually pressing that key. I have seen several programs which can take over things like taps on the "X" button or even top taskbar clock, but although they can be set to close or minimize the active program, they don't seem to be able to achieve the same effect as pressing the "Home" key.
The closest I've been able to come is wktask which can assign the "Show Today" action to the "X" soft button, but it doesn't work so well with WM 6.5.X versions due to other glitches and incompatibilities, so is not ideal.
Is there any such program that can simulate the "Show Today" action, ideally by a tap on the top taskbar clock? So that the hardware key can be bypased?
quite easily:
you can create a link to Home link (found in start Menu) which will return to home sence tab.
This can be linked to anything that can select a shortcut as a function.
Example being Utask, this gives extra function to x screen-button & start menu button by long press on these screen buttons, long press mapped to Home.lnk & you got what you want.
Mortscript could also be useful in setting these sort of things up.
Thanks for the reply and advice. However on the rom that I am using (Artemis) there is no "Home" shortcut available via the start menu. In another rom (Energy) I do see this shortcut in the start menu, but am unable to find it as a file in \Windows\Start Menu\ and so I have no way of creating a link to it or pointing to it in the options for uTask.
Can anyone provide instructions for finding or creating this "Home" shortcut so that I can implement it as desired? If anyone is able to locate it as a file/link on their rom, is it possible to upload it here to this thread so that I can copy it onto my device?
Or any other ideas?
The home link is basically a link to: ManilaShortcut.exe
with parameter: home
You can set this up in utask to one of its touch buttons by setting it to launch- ManilaShortcut.exe
found in windows folder & adding parameter- home
If you do not have ManilaShortcut.exe I will upload it & shortcuts I have for it.
Thanks Mister B, the instructions as posted above worked as desired and I am now able to switch back to the Sense Home Tab at any time from any application, by tapping on the top taskbar clock. This is exactly what I wanted to accomplish.
Doing a "minimize" was already possible by default with uTask, but that would not always take you right back Home if you had other apps open and running behind the current foreground one. Now it's one-click to return home while leaving everything open and running.
Very much appreciated.
When using the alternate SystemUI file to make the n button function as a home button, how do you then get to those items on the default B&N quick select menu? Things like B&N store, web browser, library, etc. Is there an easy way to make these same items appear as links on the home screen itself? I have the app manager tweak, so I know how to put side loaded apps there. Just haven't been able to figure out how to put the default B&N apps there.
Thanks!

On allmost all smartphones it is possible to screenshot what is currently shown on display by pressing VOLUME-DOWN + ONOFF
Moreover my old non-Samsung smartphone offers an additional button "Scroll" which (when tapped) let the capture procedure automatically scroll down to capture the whole dialog/window
How can I achieve this auto-scoll-down+capture in Samsung A52S?
It should be exactly the same way. When you take a screenshot, a little toolbar appears at the bottom and you tap the button that looks like a down button. If you don't have the toolbar, check your settings by going to: Settings > Advanced features > Screenshots & screen recorder > Screenshot toolbar. Make sure the toggle is on. If you still don't have it, check you have the app Samsung Capture installed and if not you can only download it from the Galaxy Store.
Ok, thank you. I found the button.
BUT; When I tap on it the screenshot procedure behind scrolls down only ONE page.
If it is a loooong page I have to tap 5 or 6 or even more times to capture really the whole dialog.
Thats user unfriendly.
Is there a way to tell Android to capture everything automatically until the bottom of the dialog after first tap?
Is this scroll feature a Samsung feature on on ALL Android 12 smartphones?
