Mods please move if this is in the wrong place. I'm on bamf 2.0-5 remix. I have the sensation photo album lockscreen set but I want to set my album art to the lockscreen. I know in settings you can specify what folder to use but the album art I have isn't an actual picture but it's a file with numbers in the name located in a folder called album art on my sd card. I guess my question is how would i be able to turn the album art files into media files so I can use them on my lockscreen.
Most album art is in jpg format, no? If yours aren't, maybe just change the file name to something like albumtitle.jpg and see if that works.
There is probably a .nomedia file in your album art folder. Just make sure you enable "show hidden files" in settings and delete the .nomedia file. After a reboot it should then show up in your gallery and you can use it on your lockscreen.

where should I copy the wallpapers? I copied the images to the pictures folder but when i go to gallery i can't find anything.
Also, is it possible to remove the other pages on homescreen that are empty? eg. homescreen with only 1 page and won't be able to scroll left/right
okay the pictures appeared in the gallery now. no idea why.
still wondering how to remove the empty pages on the homescreen though.
As i hide the medias of portfolios as of GPS and other pastes, the gallery and the player of music of the grt 10.1 ? I have the program to hide .nomedia and even creating the file in Windows and gluing in the files is the same.
Hey, I have alot of books, videos, music, and other files on my microsd card. Does anyone know of a method to add shortcuts on the homescreen to these folders? Preferably within the stock file manager. Icons are also prefered over widgets, but widgets will suffice.
I figured ADW EX would allow for something this basic but unfortunately it doesn't.
ES File Explorer will let you do it.
Just long press on folder and select "Shortcut".

Hey guys I have a quick question: what's the default path for the wallpaper picker in the Google car home app? When I go to settings > wallpaper > select from gallery, it's blank because there's no pictures in that directory and I can't use any of my other gallery apps to choose (I tried clearing defaults already). I just need the path so I can move the backgrounds into that specific folder.
anybody?
I am running ICS Sense 4.0 on my Evo LTE 4g. I ran into the same problem and found a solution. Just install the gingerbread gallery apk. (search gallery3d.apk). Google Car Home will now find the gallery apk it was expecting.
I have some 100s of manga in folders which I want to exclude from default gallery, i can't hide each folder singly.
