I have an imported AT&T Tilt 2, I was just wondering about what sort of compatibility it has with other versions of the Rhodium. I have tried my partner's case (she has a T mobile version) which does not fit my tilt 2. Would a sprint case fit?

The T-Mobile version has a different back cover than all the other device models. You would be better off getting one specifically for the Tilt 2 since it is the only one that has a PTT button. No other model has that button.
Yeah, unfortunately I can't find any Tilt2 cases which suit. I dont mind if the P2T button is covered, it just has to snap on.
I was hoping the sprint version would fit, but thought that someone on here might know.

Well, the Sprint and Verizon version might work properly, but, as mentioned, the PTT button would be covered. This might cause the issue of it being constantly pressed, though. You're the first to come around here with this question, so, if you do it, please let us know how it goes.
Good news, the Verizon ones do suit the Tilt2.
I purchased one of these and it fits wonderfully:

I bought a Silicone case for my daughter's Tilt 2 that covered the PTT button. I just disabled the PTT button, as she did not use it anyway.

They still do not sell the camera cover. But if we can get everyone who needs a camera cover they may start to stock that part acording to the operator I spoke with. HTC does monitor all customer calls. So the more calls they get about the camera cover the better chance we have of getting them.

Hi,
been using my HTC Touch pro from verizon for a little over a week now and love it ( Excluding the lack of Battery Life, RAM and FM Tuner, I am more than satisfied) except that the dialer skin is very ugly. TO add it fits nowhere to the rest of the device.
Can anybody suggest a good dialer skin in BLACK for me to use? I used the 12amos Manila upgrade on my TouchFLO and would like a matching Dialer
P.S. Whats the name of that software that prevents the phone turning on and dialing while in your pocket? This happened to me on three separate occasions

You might want to check out Jugallo's S2A which will force you to slide an icon left or right to accept a call or reject it. As far as your device problems go, you weren't the smartest person around when you bought the Verizon Pro as you could have bought the Sprint version and put it on Verizon's network with more RAM, better keyboard layout, and better look. That's what I did and everything works twice as well as a Verizon Pro. You can also improve battery life by using nueClockControl

I am satisfied with the verizon. It fully supports verizon without any possibility of issues, I LIKE the look compared to springs more iphoneish curve, and I get their accidental breakage warranty.
Also, you didnt mention about a dialer skin which is my priority
why don't you flash a custom rom with the dialer you want. I thought dialer's have to be installed with the rom. Oh and Sprint phone's wont work with verizon as of right now so I'd keep yours plus verizons warranty rocks!!!!

I know it does, but it only will work out if the rom doesnt screw me up
All I've seen were ROMS that are GSM. If I can see a base ROM to start with, I can bake my own customization.
P.S. Will a custom rom give me the GPS VZ Navigator blocks?
Jugallo's has a black skin just like you asked .
Also, how's that up arrow smashed between the M and N keys on your Pro?
I found a balck carbon fiber dialer that looked pretty nice. I don't have my phone with me so I can't get the exact name of the .cab. I also think it replaced the manilla files to a carbon fiber theme as well.
Try searching for HTC Dialer skins and maybe something will pop up.

Actually it does...
I'm not sure if you can warranty your phone if you do (you won't be able to get much verizon tech help), but as of now it works 99.99% on the network
edit: the touch pro does and probably the diamond as well

wow, your kind of a **** aren't you? you do realise that about a month ago Verizon realized what was happening and closed the backdoor so you cant activate the Sprint ones on Verizon service right? Oh thats right, you arent the smartest person either....
Personally I agree with the OP, I don't really care for the looks of the sprint curvy chrome and gray phone. No issues with the keyboard here, (the arrow key and the m key cause me no issues) and I like the black squared look.

I'll one up you on that. And the less memory is not proving to be such a big issue if you know what you are doing. I know that I saved about $200 by getting the verizon touch pro. Sprint wanted to charge me $579 plus $100 MIR, whereas I paid $339 at verizon and got the $100 MIR.
Oh, and the you can active the Sprint Touch Pro on Verizon, just when they ask you where you got the phone, say it was a gift from a friend, and don't tell them it is the sprint version.

Actually yes you can activate. You put their PRI and PRL on the Sprint version, add a few settings in with QPST, call *228, press 1 and you can activate just fine. BTW: I got mine on eBay new for $300 (less than the Verizon one ) and did this. Verizon physically can't close this backdoor as it's a key function of CDMA networks and this is what they use to activate phones bought online (though I do believe that's wrong but whatever). I saved $50 more than you and got a more capable phone. Yes I do despise the look of it and want that Verizon logo but don't call me a **** because I point out facts . Another plus of the Sprint version (not true anymore however) was there was HardSPL. Not true anymore though I will say this: it is your opinion whether or not you like a phone. And I don't know about you, but I know one too many people who buy a crappy phone just because they know it has the Verizon logo on it or aren't knowledgeable that you can just put a better Sprint phone on the Verizon network and use it that way. But that aside: you like the VZW Pro and I like the Sprint one. End of story.
if you're gonna get a sprint touch pro, why not just get sprint service??
And you made a comment about "hows the arrow key jammed between the m and n" it actually works great right there
OP: I installed Carbon Theme with Custom Skin Dialer Cab from here: http://www.thetouchblog.com/TF3D/main.html and now I have a carbon fiber looking dialing pad. When you install that theme, it automatically changes your TF3D look to a carbon fiber one, but you can go back in and change it with the Diamond TF3D Config
I found the real problem with signal issues of the HTC Titan.
I have 2 HTC Titan
I bought a second HTC Titan from AT&T for a penny & I thought of trying the back cover on my first Titan.
The results are astonishing. The back cover was all that was wrong on my device. With the second Titan I purchased from AT&T on the Web, there is no problem with the sigral.
I have now ordered a new cover from Ebay & will try to get a replacement from HTC for my original cover that was defective.
I really think there was a bad batch of those back covers for this Titan & we where the unlucky ones to get them.
If you know someone that has no issues with his Titan, try his back cover on your phone.
Hope this help someone.
Good luck.
Hi, could this solve the WiFi issues?

How can you tell the difference between covers?
Photo please..
There is no difference at all between the covers that I have. The only thing I can figure out is that the contacts tabs on the inside of the covers that does not work, do not make a contact with the antenna that is embedded in the bothom plastic of the cover.
I do not know if the WiFi problem is related to this, (as I think the WiFi antenna is located in an other place on the cover) but for me the slow download speed I was getting before I change the cover, & the low signal or no signal was directly ralated to the lack of good antenna.
In order to come up with this solution, I went great lengths in order to find the right tab that was the antenna. I even install a temporary antenna (See immage) on the outside of the thone & I was getting better signal.
But after receiving my second Titan from AT&T online order I tried the cover from that secont Titan & Voila !! Very good service & signal.
Hope this help.

If someone want to buy a replacement on eBay, I think he should be carefull on choosing the right cover, because on eBay, they sell a BLACK cover & a SILVER like on AT&T, & I think it is because in the USA, AT&T has a different frequency than in Europe.
I was hoping to get HTC to provide me with a new cover, but having install an exterior antenna on it, kind of ruined the warranty. That is why I order one on Ebay from China.
I sure would like HTC to acknoledge the problem & provide us with a replacement back cover. But we could be wayting a long time.
Regards

To answer your direct question, & not to confuse anyone, the new cover that I have installed on my Titan comes from an other AT&T Titan phone.
But for those people in Europe, I know that they have a different Back cover because of the Carrier operation frequency.
Hope this help.
I have 2 back covers at the moment, i got one from china that im using at the moment and im removing the paint and polishing the original, and after reading this ive just tested both of them and found the one from china does give worse reception than the original. But ive found that if your very very gentle and careful you can tweak the contacts on the phone so they make better contact with the case, and now both backs work fine. This might not be a permanent fix as taking the case on and off may push them back but it may be useful if anyones stuck while waiting for a new back .

Hello there,
I just called HTC & they are shipping me a replacement back cover for my HTC Titan.
They do replace one accessory during the warranty period.
So if you still have a problem with your reception, maybe try a different cover that HTC can ship to you.
Hope this help.
Thanks pjodm

HTC Customer service told me that we have 15 days after receiving the new cover to call them back if things have not improve or else.
My hope is high because I have something to compare with.
I took a long time to explain them all what I did to find what was the problem, & told them that there was lots of other Titan Fans that where fustrated with this issue.
Hope the message get across higher echelons in HTC Company.
Spread the word if this fixed your problem.

It is a great phone, i would say go buy it, i'm sure you'll like it. I am very impressed of mine.
I bought mine on AMAZON. It's the black cover (and not from China!).
The frequency doesn't have anything to do with it as it's in the phone's configuration, not the back cover...
Anyway, I'm using it since yesterday and all I can say is.... WOOWW!! What a huge difference. I'm starting to love my phone again !!!
(Before that, I was about to throw it on a wall ....)

At least it solved mine.....
Humor me...
Take your old backplate... at the bottom (shown on this pic)
http://wmpoweruser.com/htc-titan-having-antenna-issues/
scrape it with a file.
I did this... (even accidentally scraped one completely off) and i went from 2-3 bars to 4 and 5, never dropping below 4 on ATT 3g plus (says 4g on US version of titan)
Will test tomorrow to full confirm but i think i just saved myself from buying a new back.
If this improved i may to in on all of the connections to backplate.
After watching a bunch of Youtube video's, reading a bunch of articles and websites, etc about these adapters, I ordered one that is LTE compatible, and simply adds one more SIM to your phone. The app to change SIMS comes with the adapter as well.
Does anyone have any experience with these here? I'd like to hear peoples opinions and reactions to them, good or bad.
The reason I want one:
T-mobile has horrible service in my area, but has WIFI calling and works approximately 1/8 of the places I frequent.
AT&T is my Main carrier, as they have the best GSM service in my area, none of which are available where I live. Verizon is the only carrier that I can get at my house and I refuse to use them.
So, because I currently have a T-mobile Prepaid and AT&T Prepaid accounts active on two phones, I would like to use them both on my Note 3, primarily because my Note 3 has WIFI calling (HyperDrive T-Mobile ROM).
My plan is to use AT&T 95% of the time, but while home, switch to TMO and WIFI calling and forward my AT&T number to it. Sounds pretty in depth, but one phone is for work, the other is mine and I have to have them both anyhow. I mine as well make the best of it and not carry two phones as well. This way I can also USE my phone while home, because if you have ever used WIFI calling from TMO, you know it rocks
Thank you
Would like to know about this as well.
Also curious if it could be squeezed into a ZeroLemon battery case or not.

By looking at the picture on amazon, I'd say that it looks like it will. It's being shipped from china, so when it gets here, I'll post the dimensions and install it with my ZL case/battery and let you know.
OK so I received this today. I immediately installed it, which was easy enough. You simply slide this adapter under your simcard while pushing it into your phones SIM slot.
My biggest concern was if it would work with LTE service, since most I found on line would not guarantee. Well, it works with LTE on AT&T and TMO just fine for me. When you install this adapter and boot up, the adapter installs an apk called SimTools.
This is the app that allows you to switch SIMs and it works well also, but I have noticed that for it to work perfect, you need to reboot after each switch or it will not update operator info. I need to test this more to be sure though. It also has a feature called Auto S/W which seems to be a auto SIM switching feature. This came with no information to read into, so I'm not sure and need to run some tests to figure it out. So far, it serves the exact purpose I needed it to, and cost less than $10 shipped. I would say that its a win/win situation. I need to run some real world tests on this and when I do, I will update the thread. For now, if you need simple, basic Dual SIM support, this is what you're looking for.
I'll add that I'm running CyanogenMOD 11 on a Note3 and have not tested this on a Samsung Touchwiz device. I have seen some complaints that the apk bundled with these adapters may have issues on some phones/versions of Android. Some research is suggested before purchasing, but its cheap enough to try anyway.
Good luck
Edit: This fits fine under the backplate of a Note3 using a stock battery and Qi adapter for wireless charging OR when using an extended battery like ZeroLemon because it has a long ribbon cable that can be folded around corners. I tested it with the ZeroLemon battery/case and it works fine.

Hi all,
Just picked up the Gear S yesterday morning (Verizon), and i have the band out to the last hole and its pinching my wrist a bit. If i move my hand it is moderately un-comfortable and restricts my movement a bit.
Any tips/tricks/suggestions to get this band extended out a bit?? I 've been googling and can not find anything about anyone offering bands other then the gaudy designer/rock band straps on the way, and the new color variants of the same thing from samsung.
Not returning this, but i need it to fit me right! If it had 1 more hole it'd have been a perfect fit, as it is i CAN wear it, but i need to keep taking it off to give my wrist a break (strap indentations etc). =( disappointed!
Yeah bruh....im in the same boot....there is someone that used the strap from a snapback baseball cap to get it to work properly.....but i aint doing that...just gonna wait til someone comess out with larger/longer bands
