Atrix not exiting car dock mode

My Atrix enters car dock mode fine. I have stock rom with root/unlock and Faux's kernel 1.2. I'm too lazy to upgrade and it seems to work fine for me.
My atrix can enter car dock mode fine, but sometimes when I remove the phone from the dock it does not register it as being removed. This means rotated lock screens, home goes to car dock, speaker on phone, and the appearance of it charging even though it is not. (It doesn't seem to sense the mA.., even if plugged into a different charger)
I have recently frozen the car dock app to see if this changes things, but it doesn't. It just now goes straight to home.
Anyone know how to kill the car dock... service? Thing?

lapdock issue

I have the Atrix lapdock modified so I can use the RAZR on it, but when I plug it in, it will load up but the mouse and keyboard are unresponsive (tested USB mouse and keyboard to) and the status bar consistently go's away and comes back.
Im running RAZRX v1.0 by Mr. th3ory (Awesome btw!) and the webtop version is WT-2.0.0-69-DHD_TA-1
Any help would be appreciated.
I have similar issues only when the phone is not fully seated in the dock.
Thats not the reason. It is caused by safe strap being enabled.
Good to know.
BYW my lapdock has been holding sync much better since doing some extra shaving around the ports and edges of the dock.

HTC Desk Dock Mode and ICS SENSE 4.0

Anyone testing ICS/SENSE 4.0 know if the Dock Mode has changed? As others have stated before the current HTC desk Dock Mode is not very customizable and being that the desk docking cradle is now 14.99 on radioshack.com I purchased 3 of them.
Also, has anyone found a good home dock replacement app in the Market?
$15?? How is it that I work at Radioshack (Target Mobile, technically) and haven't heard of this? Literally just ordered one
Yes its an amazing deal may order more being my family has 3 evo3ds.
Oh and by they way, I just downloaded and installed Wave launcher from market after reading about someone using it to improve the dock mode and yes I highly recommend it. Will make dock mode much more useful because you launch any app and the coolest thing I have ever seen in an app, Wave launcher will place any widget you want floating on the dock!

Charging - Difference between stock & custom ROM

Hey all, I recently came back to the ROM flashing world.
When the official JB came out, I went back to the stock JB from Rogers for my i717R.
Although slow and clunky, I lived with it for the past few months mostly for bluetooth functionality and stability.
But enough is enough. I have recently moved to the PAC Man ROM 4.3.
The speed/performance improvement is refreshing, quite stable, and am glad to have the PA features which I love the most.
However, I noticed one thing and am wondering if anyone can help out.
On the stock ROM, the USB car adapter I have in my car pumped out the full 1A charge.
Now on the custom ROM, I noticed that it is only pushing out the 500MA.
I forgot to check if it was showing up as "USB Charging" or "AC charging".
Is this something anyone else is experiencing? Just wondering if the custom ROM's have some sort of different programming from the stock ROM in terms of detecting power sources.
I've installed the Trickster MOD, so I am going to test the Fast Charge option as I have installed Jamie's Uber Kernel as well.
Any help/insight would be appreciated!
Hm are you using a car charger or a USB charger with a car USB spot?

[Request Question] HDMI + AOSP = ?

I have a broken charger port that I discovered this morning (ugh). The question I have is...
How do y'all's notes behave when plugged into an HDMI port while running an AOSP ROM?
If your screen becomes unresponsive...and potentially reboots...
That's what I'm seeing while attempting to charge.
Just trying to narrow down what the heck she randomly decided to do to herself.
Damn thing committed suicide right before the N5 launch. This is making the jump to T-Mobile all the more tempting.
