I have a problem.
I connect phone to my computer and connect SD memory. When i disconnect memory all program icons that are installed on SD card placed randomly on the screen, not the way i set them. The same problem is if i restart the phone.
Is there a solution for this?

wen you connect your phone to your pc on your phone it will ask you if you want mount hit mount and your pc should recognize your phone and you should b able to access your memory card
To transfer music, pictures, and other files from your computer to your phone’s storage card, you need to set the phone’s storage card as a USB drive.
1. Connect the phone to the computer using the USB cable. A
notification icon appears in the status bar.
2. Open the Notifications panel. See “To open the Notifications panel” earlier in this chapter to learn how to open the Notifications panel.
3. In the Notifications panel, tap USB connected and then tap Mount.
Note:When you select Mount, the phone will not recognize the storage card when it is connected to a computer. You will not be able to use some of the phone’s applications such as Camera or Music.
To remove the storage card while the phone is on
When you need to remove the storage card while the phone is on, you must unmount the storage card first to prevent corrupting or damaging the storage card.
1. Press HOME > MENU, and then tap Settings. 2. Scroll down the screen, then tap SD card & phone storage. 3. Tap Unmount SD card.
4. Remove the storage card by following the instructions in “To remove the storage card” earlier in this chapter.
Steps
Plug USB into phone
Plug USB into computer
A notification saying "USB connected" should show up on your phone
Tap "USB connected" notification
A "USB connected" message box will pop up (read this)
Tap "Mount"
Your SD card should now be mounted as USB storage on your computer
That should be all you need to do!

Hello everyone, I am having a very strange issue on my phone that is frustrating the hell out of me . So I am having troubles pushing files over to my SD card. I plug in my phone and mount the card. I can easily transfer files from my phone to the laptop. But when I transfer files from my laptop to the phone, it shows perfectly fine on the card until I unplug the cord. I pull it up in ASTRO and my SD card reverts back to what I previously had on it before I made any changes. It does the same thing if I were to use ASTRO and go into my card and delete files. Once I reboot the phone, the card reverts back to the same thing prior. It's weird because I can download songs and listen to them fine when the phone is on. But if I reboot, again the SD card reverts back to what I had previously. I have no idea what is going on? Does anyone have any ideas? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
bump..
I am having the same issue and it's really frustrating me also..I cant even root
Dock SDCard not being recognisedr to recognise my sd card every time i push it in the notification area will flash but it never recognises my sd card. it's really annoying.
Anyone know how to fix?
I would reformat the SD card using your computer.
Save anything that might be on the card first, of course.
reboot? doesn't recognize my usb drive sometimes unless I reboot, likely due to file systems.
I have been using the standard file manager app on my TFP201 extensively during the last month (before the .28 patch however), copying large amount of data from SD(HC) cards (from my foto- and video-camera) to my tablet and the following problems have occurred more than once during that period:
1) The file manager stops copying data spontaneously for no reason (enough diskspace available, battery charged, tablet is left by itself (not moving/using it)) with a vague error like "could not copy the data, an error occurred".
2) sometimes after the failure, data on the SD card "seems to be lost", it doesn't display them in the file manager anymore. However ejecting and re-injecting the SD card shows the data again.
3) sometimes after the failure, data on the SD card "seems to be lost", it doesn't display them in the file manager anymore. After ejecting the SD card and re-injecting it, the SD card is not recognized. Only solution is to completely reboot the tablet, so that the SD card is recognized again.
Has anyone experienced these problems?
HI all
I was wondeing if you can help.
Today, all of a sudden my SD card has stopped working. It has been in use I had music and photos on it. But this morning after being charged last night it seems to have stopped working all togherther.
I have the SD card logo on my notifications bar.
It says 'Bland Card'. I have tried to mount the card in options but it isn't working. NOTHING has changed on my phone at all that i'm aware of.
The phone sometimes said that it was 'preparing the SD card' on the notifications bar but usually works after that but now not so much.
I dont know anything about routed or anything its just out of the box for me lol.
any help to get this working again is much appreciated.
***EDIT***
Also, my phone picks up my songs on the SD card in the music player but it isn't showing photos in the gallery or even regestering that there is an SD card in the phone???
Remove SD card and connect via card reader to a PC and try to recover any wanted data using RECUVA or a similar tool .
Then format sd card as FAT 32 in Windows and try .
