Hi,
I tried making call on a SIP number from the address book but it displays "Internet calling not supported". Does anyone have idea on how to make SIP calls work on Samsung Galaxy Ace (2.3.4).
Details as follows:
PDA: S5830XXKPH
PHONE: S5830XXKPH
CSC: S5830SERKPH
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7-perf-CL260130se.infra at SEI-07 #1
Build : GINGERBREAD.XXKPH
Stiil stuck up !
Can anyone please help me to sort out issue of sip server configuration on Samsung Ace 2.3.4. ??
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.csipsimple&feature=search_result
Did you try that ?
CSipSimple is a separate application but as I had seen on LG handsets with android 2.3.4, they have an option to configure it as part of the basic android calling features where the android registers the handset to the SIP server.
I know about this client and another is VMAS client from Audiocodes which works perfectly well with android sets.
Any take on how to configure it on android directy rather than installing additional application.

This is my first post so hello everyone. I got a sgs2 in china (where I currently live) couple of months ago and it came with no market app. After downloading one (actually I downloaded several version several times) I always get the same problem: I launch the app, it asks me if I want to associate an account and wether I press "yes" or "no", the app shuts down. Is there anything I can do to solve this problem? I would like to download certain apps (like keyboard dictionaries and other stuff) and have never been able to (I'm a huge noob and this is my first smartphone).
My carrier is China Unicom

Are not such capitalist exccesses like Android market blocked on China phones .
jje
lol
I know that market works on devices which have it preinstalled and when i contacted samsung via email they told me that the galaxy s2 supports access to the market but does not support the market apk (?_?). It might be a firmware problem, i don't know
I may be wrong but as i understand China firmware on your phone blocks market .

So if that's the case I have to change rom or firmware and get one where the market is a stock app? Would that do the trick?
Hello guys
Is there any way to pair two galaxy s2's to play multiplayer locally without WiFi as you would a ds?
Been trying to do this for a while now, am I missing something apart from the fact they're not ds's? Tried WiFi direct, created WiFi hotspot and also tried Bluetooth.
The game we're trying to play multiplayer is asphalt 6 hd.
Cheers

I tried the same aswell . . . from my note to my friends S2 . . .doesnt work . . what exactly do thy mean by local multiplayer if wifi and bluetooth doesnt work?
This is what I mean, seems you can only do it through local network, the WiFi direct feature is pointless if this is the case.

Download the latest firmware for your region from Samfirmware site and install via Odin.
Make sure you backup your data first.
If this doesn't fix your problem then take your device to service centre.

Bro...this is Galaxy Note II forum and not Galaxy SII. Posting it there would give you more results.
Also, have you tried flashing stock firmware using odin ?

Hello,
Sorry I look after Galaxy S II then ask about my trouble.
Yes I installed the original firmware more than 3 times through Odin but no-way.
Thanks for your answer.

Hi,
I have a very weird problem on my Galaxy S3.
I bought my phone out of my country. It came with a ROM of Optus (brand of Australia).
I have changed the ROM by one ZTO (no brand) of Brazil.
Since before the change of the ROM, I saw a problem on this phone: the mute calls.
I had done everything, I don't know how solve. What was done:
- Changed the ROM to the original;
- Changed the MODEM for many others from Brazil, Australia, and other countries;
- Changed the ROM to a custom ROM (CyanogenMod, etc.);
- Changed the Kernel to many others, as Siyah, etc.);
Important Info:
- Skype and Viber calls works 100%;
- Videos have sound normally;
- 3G connection (Browser, Facebook, WhatsApp) works 100%;
- I receive and make calls, but without hearing and without being heard;
- If I open the link for the virtual keyboard and type in one of the numbers on the keyboard, it makes a noise keyboard, both for me as for the other people in line.
Current info of my phone:
Model: I9300
Android Version: 4.1.2
Baseband Version: I9300UBELL1
Kernel Version: 3.0.31-Siyah-1.8.9+ [email protected] #7 SMP PREEMPT Tue Jan 15 07:39:27 PST 2013
Compilation Number: JZO54K.I9300UBEMA1
Sorry for my poor english, I'm from Brazil.
Thanks!
