I was just playing around with the phone and I went to my homescreen. And under 2 of my icons a small rainbow line or different color line appeared. It was about the lenght of the icon itself.
I hope the screen isn't going bad...I guess I'm going to have to really watch for that again if it pops up. I rebooted the phone and the lines isn't there anymore. So we'll see..

I had my screen go wacky after trying the spider man game. I didn't exit the game properly and just backed out of it. It was like the 3d only half shut off and things looked like a hollogram. I went back into the game and actually hit exit. That fixed it.

Happened to me when I exited a 3D youtube video except it was the whole bottom third of the screen. It went away after a reboot.
Sometimes if u quickly leave an 3d app or something the 3d effect will still be goin for a bit.. was even on my lockscreen, user error so no need to whine, so I didn't lol

anyone find weird multicoloured lines on the bottom of phone popping up on phone when connected to USB or at some instances temporarily for some seconds?
I do when playing a certain game, dont remember which one right now though

Its only that one game/app that does it for me. I thought it was the app, don't see it anywhere else, and the chuzzle game is misaligned.

Yeah its just screen tearing from the exploit being ran. No big deal iv had way worse when cooking my own ROM and kernels for the og 4g

On the television commercials for the EVO 3D, they show the main screen in 3D, is this possible for us to do? I apologize up front if this has been discussed already.

One day I was taking pics in 3d and hit the home button and power button at the same time. When I tried turning it back on the home screen was in 3d. Some kind of lag issue but was in 3d non responsive. Had to reboot

First...I'm not a Dev, but thought I would share.
I believe its possible. I had to return my first evo becuz the 3d effect would not "turn off". Leaving me able to navigate all of the phone homescreen and menus with the double imaging or hologram effect....still wasn't exactly 3d though. I called sprint they told me my phone was "defective" and I returned it the next day for new one.

honestly, if the screen was always 3d i would go crazy. don't get me wrong i love the 3d media and games. and the picture make it feel like ur still sitting there where you were when you took it, sort of frozen in time. but i noticed from playing the games and watching the green hornet it... after a few minutes i start to get a headache from 3d... i don't know everything about 3d but the principal is it looks 3d because you are actually seeing two images but your eyes interpret them as one. thats probably what causes the headaches or slight dizziness after extended time of exposure. everyone who plays with my phone agrees with me that if it was always 3d it would suck. it would be cool to be able to turn the entire os into 3d on command but always in 3d wouldn't be very appealing to me.
my phone sometimes goes crazy and starts pressing random buttons and its on the left side of the screen and most of the time my q on the keyboard doesnt work, does that mean my digitizer is messed up??

Have you tried switching keyboards to see if its the keyboard acting up?
I use swiftkey and sometimes random keys wont want to work and it will go crazy but it goes back to normal after a while.

before you do that have you tried cleaning your screen and if you have a screen proptector... is the screen below it clean... fingerprints alone can be a mofo....

Every time I buy screen protectors I buy a couple of them because I know the first one will never come out perfect. Btw if you are interested in screen protectors, they are super cheap on ebay. But then again so is anything small like that. Ebays your best friend if you have patience.

ya i have tried swiftkey as my keyboard and it still acts up sometimes and the only way it stops is for me to turn the screen off and wait a few minutes or restart the phone

My previous evo3d had the exact same issue. It wasn't consistent but sometimes just turning the screen on I could see the unlock ring going nuts. So would the keyboard or if I opened up dialer it would call one of my listed contacts. I would battery pull to make it stop.
I took it to the sprint store and they replaced it and acknowledged it was defective. It happened on any ROM.

for those of you who ended up taking it into a sprint store. how did this exactly work? how long have you had your phone? did you need to have insurance on the phone? did they charge you the deductable?
did you put stock rom back on it before bringing it in?

So i got my new EVO LTE June 3 . Every thing seemed to be going smooth until i started to notice like a red flashing square everytime a page was loading in cluding pictures,music,and videos.Next when im on a call and take the phone away from my face the screen wont turn on it stays black! And now im noticing that the camera doesn't focus to well! Any suggestions on what to do thanks.

do u have a screen protector on it?? cause i saw that for some people it was the screen protector messing with the sensor..
If I were you I'll just take it back where ever you got it from and get a new 1

Well, for the red square flashing....that's a setting in developer options. Make sure "strict mode enabled" is unchecked. And as far as the screen not turning back on after a call or during.....like the other guy said, do u have a screen cover?? That could be a cause.
Troubleshoot your problems before you prematurely freak out and return this awesome phone.

So when I'm on the phone, my screen will black out.. give you a good example: was talking to my wife this morning about an accident.. I was trying to take a pic while on the phone, but every time I tried to use the camera, my screen kept shutting off.. as soon as I hung up, it worked fine.. not just the camera, anything does this.. this a normal issue, or something worse?

Sounds like the proximity sensor, try playing with it in phone settings

Put it on speaker phone next time. Cause its the sensor. The sensor is next to the speaker on the top of the phone. So next time just put it on speaker phone

You don't have your thumb over the sensor do u? Mine is pretty sensitive as well. If my hand even gets close to the side of the sensor my screen goes black.
This issue has been discussed in the forums before but I can't find the link I was looking for. Apparently this issue w/the proximity sensor was on some, not all, early model HTC EVO 4g LTE's and required you to send bak to manufacture for fix. I have the same issue n this works for me 'most of the time'... Just take your phone away from your ear, in upper lefthand corner wipe screen a few times with thumb/finger. I'm not guaranteeing it will work for you. Like I said, works for me.
