Using the updated version of linpack, hit 120mflops consistently using the multi thread test. 49 on the single thread test.
Curious where the tegra 2 and galaxy s 2 fall here...

Does anyone that has a 3vo wanna run this new benchmark test that was made for multi-core phones and see what the 3vo gets? I no benchmarks don't really mean anything but I am interested to see what comes up.

No takers?
I'll go
Edit: so first attempt, I got a native score of 9k, a java score of 2600, and an overall score of like 5.3k I think. Not great but ill try from a cold boot

Is anyone else CPU clocking at 1.188mhz
Or 1.1GHz instead of 1.200mhz or 1.2Ghz. I used antutu benchmark on the market and clicked info to see the CPU frequency. I'm taking swapping it out at radioshack.

My 3D shows the same thing.. Just as my 1.0GHz Evo 4G showed 998mhz. Your phone is running perfectly normal.

I just wanna be sure I'm reading this right... Op is complaining about 24mhz? Seriously? As in 12mhz per core? I don't think that its gonna make much difference in the performance of the phone.... That's like complaining that your car was advertised to have 1200 horsepower but you only have 1188.... Oh darn those 12 little ponies!

That's normal, just the way processors work it is very rare to get an exact number. You will be wasting your time taking it back because they are all exactly the same.

its normal, stop worrying abou it too much, some programs read it differently then others. Mine says the same thing, is it really worth the trouble exchanging, some of you guys just amaze me on how picky you get lol.
is at 600mhz because the evo3 misses a core

Does the Photon run on both cores at all times......or does it run like the EVO 3D and use one core for everyday use and both cores during gaming???

It is dependent on load. But there is a script shabby wrote to turn it on when ever you want to.
Also is the Qualcomm S3 processor in the 3D better than the Tegra II?? Would you trade a 3D for a Photon???

Wouldn't touch a 3D with another mans testicals. Tegra - I think is a better SOC.

Download system panel from the market, allows you to monitor your system including load on both cores, available ram, etc. also doubles as a task killer

I need it cuz I'll get a ONE x+ which has 1.7 preloaded. Also with loop device pls?
Snapdragon S4 pro 1.5ghz vs Tegra 3 1.7ghz. What is so important that you need that extra .2 ghz?

Clock speed isn't everything. Krait does more work per clock cycle than tegra.
Sent from my Inspire 4G using xda premium
1.7 GHz should be possible. Stock + or - 200mhz is typically most stable, but it could go up to 1.8 or 1.9. That could murder battery life though. We'll have to see when we get custom kernels.

That's a speedtest. Not a benchmark. Benchmarks are taken with Quadrant and Antutu.

I've never bothered much with benchmarks before, but I've also never had a phone that was this powerful so I gave it a go last night.

I ran with the performance governor, I also changed the scheduler and tweaked that. Don't know how much credit goes to each.
Oh okay I ran with performance but didn't mess with the scheduler so maybe it did help

Why do we need so many "Benchmarks" threads? There's one already http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2442467 Will we make a hundred more maybe?
