i was able to install certain apps from the market without any problems. but when i uninstall them and decided to install them back, i'm unable to. i get message in market that says that the app isnt compatible with my device... i dont get it! how can i fix this?
Hey I had the same.issue now what Rom are u using? In the rcmix3d runnyv3.3 page 565 starting just go through them me and a few others had a whole convo about this hope this gets u started

yeah i got virtuous unity 2.39 on my htc inspire 4g. i dont understand this phenomenon. its so MOD EDIT strange

sorry it was late when I post this but the runny v3.3 rcmix3d is in the desire hd thread. But yeah it could be in the build prop settings but be careful with the change but im sure it has something to do with the I D of the phone in your file explorer in the sys folder you will see the buil.prop once your their you will see all the way to the bottom stuff like ro.model.= as example. I also have inspire 4g and i had this issue but when Capychimp updated his rom it was fix

hi negrobembon.. i didnt change anything in the build file. but i did install 'font changer'. and this does change the dpi. but, i changed the dpi back to normal and i still get the same issue.

I was getting same problem and it was getting annoying. I fixed it by logging into the android market on the web and tried to install an app that said not compatible. Hope that helps.

Using old market fixes the dpi problem on phone.

Im using the sony sketch fonts
Also your market problem is very weird, try to restore and old backup from before u deleted the apps

orb i appreciate your work on xda.. but keep in mind that i put my question in the forum that i thought best. there are many forums here and many times ppl dont know where exactly to put their question or issue. honestly, i dont know the difference between q&a and general forum. to me theyre so similar that theyre the same. i thought i posted my question in the forum that i thought best. you cant ban or punish someone for posting a question in the forum that they thought was a good fit . its not theyre fault.

It is their fault if they have their threads moved over and over again. General forums are for general news and info. Hope this helps in your next thread posting.
I recently installed an application on my motorola droid pro but is unable to find it in my list of applications. However i can see it as an installed application in Manage Applications option. How can i get this app working?
Try reinstalling the app if you haven't already.

This can sometimes happen if the app is named something differently than how it's listed in the Market. Go through your app drawer to ensure it's not named something else. If that fails, try a reboot.

Oh darn, I thought I posted this in the q& a section. Sorry about that, however it isn't in there either. When I choose windows it allows me to make another browser windows or a incognito but no menu options. At least not on my phone.
Mod, please move to the q&a section.

I'm on stock and for the life of me I cannot find it. I'll check the version and report back.
