Should I? - HTC EVO 3D

I'm sure this is a question only I could answer... but I have a couple of questions.. maybe you could guide me...
So... right now I have the evo shift.
Whatever phone I get I'm buying off contract.
Then switching to verizon june 2012.
So...
Will the evo 3D have a lot of dev support, as the orgianl Evo had? More?
I'm just debting wheather or not I should get the evo3D. Is it really a good phone? Ignore the 3D part... does it hold its own against other high end devcies?
Should I wait till an icecream sandwhich devicecomes out?
Input?l
Thanks

If your buying off contract why not just switch to VZW now? Maybe they'll hook you up with a credit to pay your etf.

Given the processing power of the Evo 3D, it will likely get an ICE CREAM Sammich update when it's ready. Most of the benchmarks aren't tailored towards a dual-core chip so they're inaccurate anyway.
This phone is fast, fast I tell you! It's definitely worth it if you LOVED your EVO 4G/Shift. Battery is better for most people, Sense UI 3.0 has finally been coded properly and done right.
Verizon wants me to pay them a $1000 dollar deposit to get a phone with them. I laughed at them on my way out of the store. They have nothing, NOTHING worth a grand.

with only a year before switching carriers, it sounds like your tired of the shift, and/or have the money to spend since your buying out of contract...with that said, the evo3d has lots of devs support from my perusing of these forums...many came from the evo4g...cant say whether their are more or less than the og tho...still have my rooted evo4g and love it, my new 3d is also fantastic! So i think for you, a rooted evo4g, or a 3d stock/or rooted would fit the bill for the next year

as one who was on the shift (as is my wife still) from the pre-root days I'll speak to the community aspect of your question.
To put it in a visual...
3vo = Phantom menace opening day
shift = revenge of the sith a month after release
in regards to the off-contract...that's your $, your call

Whoa! I have never heard of a deposit of more than $250. and the max deposit that is in the system is $400! You must owe the company money? that sounds very fishy to me. Was this online? If not id try to open an account online first. With the way the economy is in the USA right now, most cell providers are lax on their criteria. a coworker who is 1.7 mil in debt (due to horrible budgeting and defaulting on loans) which is a NO NO, he got a verizon account last month with no deposit at all. just FYI... But sprint has the best data plans for the money, but I wish their 3G speeds were what they should be. Im not being rude, just letting you know that I think someone was taking advantage of you!

At&t wanted 500 per line
Verizon wanted 400 per line
Sprint no down payment but i have a spending limit
Tmobile had nothing down and obviously no spending limit

yeah, I hear you there, I did the same thing, I maxed a $250 line credit card out when I was 18 and didnt pay it off till I was out of college. but that is long gone for me now.. over 10 years ago. I was just saying VoXHTC that $1000 is more than the MAX sec dep that verizon can charge per their TOC.

Yeah I think ATT max deposit is like 800 or 900... But that is if you have a prior unpaid balance .. so its your unpaid balance AND the 800 deposit... For being "high risk default"
I wasn't trying to prove him right or you wrong just adding more input :b

yeah, I totally understand, I was just adding my input. I think $1000 is ridiculous. the whole "we think we are above god" complex that most.. **cough verizon ATT cough** have developed is stupid. Ive been with sprint twice now. got my first line with them in 1999, then again in 2009. they have changed a lot and I simply love their customer support. Call me a sprint fanboy, but I have been with tmo and att and both were horrible. Im glad to be in the sprint boat at the moment!
Another thought.. I think ATT puts a high deposit on some queries because "we can make more money off them on our pre-paid systems" so lets put a HUGE deposit on them, then before they walk out offer them the pay as you go phone!

Yeah ATT offered me a go phone or w.e they call it after I about pissed my self when they said 500 dollars per line... Uhh I may have a defaulted credit cars from 5 years ago... But I'm not a complete moron..... :k

I think you should just cancel Sprint I got just over a year and my etf is only 90$ and I got Verizon thunderbolt (is just like the EVO but better processor ), the data speeds on Verizon 3G are so much better then Sprint considering that they have way more customrs, Sprint wasn't bad till in april, they been having some speeds that I don't like (0.25/0.35 mbps download ) and there 4G is a joke , LTE download speeds are outstanding and it stays connected 99% of the time here in las Vegas , yes the prices are higher but their network is better, Sprint needs to do something pronto, the EVO been my favorite phone so far and the only the could match it is my old iPhone, but if the network sucks there is no point is like having a lambirgini without gas, I'm just waiting for this month bill to cancel my line , I'll be paying more for less minutes but then again i don't use my phone to talk much and I got a company phone so is all good . BTW I got it without deposit at all only bought the phone

No preorder? Sprint may have enough for you!

I just went into my local sprint store (southgate shopping center, colorado springs) they still had plenty for people to preorder. If you are nervous about getting one just call up your local store, chances are most people went to best buy or radio shack.
just thought I would throw that out there....

I doubt I could wait until after work.
I was excited (thought I was gonna puke) when the UPS man showed up yesterday! I was first in line at that store last year to get my Evo. Would have been sitting outside the store at 6 a.m. again this year if they didn't do the online thing early. Phones are my only vice.

well, I didnt even plan on getting it till today. So waiting a couple extra hours wont hurt too much... i dont think
also, if anyone didnt know yet sprint is still offering $125 service credit for porting your number over. Even better reason to ditch tmobile...
When the Evo was released there was such a rush that it brought down the activation system for awhile. It's been speculated that the demand for this phone isn't as much as the OG Evo but be mindful none the less.
The East coast stores will be in full swing by the time it becomes your turn in the mid west, so allow yourself some time.... Enjoy.

I dont think enough people know about that. With that discount and a giftcard that I get for signing up for service through my work website, I will be making money off getting this phone $100 gift card + $125 service credit+ selling my tmobile G2 which is in great shape will net me a bit of profit.
the original evo was in very high demand because it was actually one of the only phones available with the specs it had. No other carriers even had anything close to it. Now almost every carrier has 4.3 inch screen and well spec phones. Normal person really doesn't even know anything about processors, like bunch of my friends. They always ask me what phone they should get. mostly people go for screen size and android, ram processor is the last thing they care about, all they know is the 2ghz is faster then 1ghz.

Sprint still has tons for online sales. As my thread made awhile back there is no shortage of ev3d.
I ordered another today with the sprint premier link and had to call in to validate and the guy said it would have no problem going out today. And they had many leftover from the SP pre sale so online or sprint store either of them will have plenty.
Just saw that thread (it was on page 13 so forgive me for missing it)

Evo 3D Sales

Figures are not definitive but just a observation. I have a friend who is a district manager for a few Sprint stores in the Tri-State area of PA, DE & NJ where I live. Not corporate stores, but those authorized retail stores. A few of his stores reside in some of the more popular shopping malls in the area. Anyway I was at one of the stores yesterday picking up a new battery for my Epic & I asked how the 3D was selling compared to the Evo 4G & he said they weren't selling anywhere close to how the OG Evo did last year. Not even that many people coming in asking for it. He said a couple of the stores still had original stock from release day, where as last year they couldn't keep them in any of the stores. He also said that he has seen more returns for the phone also. Not for the locked bootloader but other reasons. So that magic number of 10%, that people around here keep tossing around as the percentage of people who actually want a unlocked bootloader may be actually higher when you factor in that the phone isn't selling like Sprint/HTC thought. Like I said in the begining, none of this is definitive, just a observation from a friend who is in the know, at least at the 10 or more stores he oversees.

I dont think the bootloader has much if anything to do with it. The reason is simple really.. when the Evo came out last year it was the first and only of its kind. There werent any other 4G phones out with the massive screen. It took the other carriers a while to catch up but now you have Tmobile with its own Sensation, Verizon with its own Thunderbolt, Charge, Iphone and soon to be Bionic. AT&T with its own Infuse, Inspire, Atrix, Captivate, etc. So the Evo doesnt really have anywhere near as much luster now as it did a year ago. Add to that the fact that a ton of people are still locked into contracts and there's your answer.
I knew they didnt expect sales to be big when they allowed employees to get the phone only 3 days after it released so im really not surprised and I dont think they are either.
If anyone actually thought the 3d would sell better then the og EVO is dilusional.
The 3d wasn't as heavily marketed and hyped like the OG EVO also. And yea the EVO was first of its kind.

I totally agree. Back then the Droid and EVO where really the only ones that stood out...now the rest of the others played catch up, and the field is scattered with selection of phones that are nearly identical to the OG EVO. Now we have a huge selection of them AND we still have the OG EVO. Sales are good..nbut not nearly the amount of the original. Also...how many really have the cash to upgrade. If they do not have full upgrade? I mean...contracts are 2 years and many of them still have another year or so to go. I still have mine left with 14. Months to go. I paid cash for. mine and after I sell my OG EVO still cost me money. But I did not use a upgrade..beings I do not have one. My 2 cents worth
The EVO was under produced. That's why everyone was sold out...

I hate to finally admit it, but my 2 3D's are going back tonight. I love the phone, We are taking them back simply because the data from Sprint in the Buffalo area is unusable - Web pages take minutes to load, cant stream radio, etc ...
All Sprint can tell me locally is 4G towers should be up by the end of the year - but by that point Ill be locked into a contract and if they fail to upgrade, Ill be stuck.
I hate that the return will reflect on the phone due to a return, but its not the phone in our case.

Don't forget that alot of evo4g users are in a 2yr contract and probably weren't aware of the option to upgrade to the 3d for a limited time. Also the evo4g may be enough phone for a lot of people as well.

Consider also the fact that those who got the 4G are still on the 2 year contract. Those who actually lurk these boards may have taken advantage of the upgrade reset.

I did....many, many times...at corporate stores..private ones and online. Then I figured...it was not worth to lose it. And the upgrade was just as expensive as to purchase one...400 for the evo 3d..subtract 250 for my old evo...150 dollars. I started with sprint nov of last year. 150 was just right to get me in.

Where are you having trouble with the service? I moved from Buffalo not too long ago and I got great service from Sprint there. I used to live just off Hertel near Military and never had any issues. Really the only places that I didn't get good service were east of the zoo, and out past Amherst.
Anyway, on topic... Of course they didn't sell as well, as everyone else has stated, they just aren't as "wow" as they were last year. Many people also just simply don't have the full upgrade yet, and aren't willing to pay the extra money.
Your friend who is in the know? Lol. Does he go around to the stores? Or does he just tell the managers what to do? Try asking someone who spends a lot of time in the stores...
I have to disagree on some of those points. I never said the bootloader had anything to do with it. I said that the supposed number of 10% of people who want a unlocked bootloader is a lot larger when you figure in that the phone hasn't sold a lot of units. I don't think people being locked into contracts had much to do with it. The Hero and Moment were big sellers and a lot of people upgraded from those phones to the Evo which came out barely a year later. (Hero - Oct. '09/Moment - Nov. '09/Evo 4G - June '10) And if you don't think that HTC/Sprint anticipated this being a big seller you are being foolish. What company doesn't bank on following a successful phone with another one? You think Apple goes into production assuming that the next iPhone isn't gonna sell at least the same amount if not more than the previous version? If that was the case why spend the money to develop and put in a new processor, GPU, screen, 3D camera, more RAM....Why even call it the Evo? You include all of those new features and call it the Evo hoping to bank on the name and success of the OG Evo IMO. I mean I'm no business major but that sounds like good business to me.

Actually he does a lot of travelling. I usually call or text him when I have a problem to see which store he is gonna be in and what time. If he is gonna be out of the area he usually lets the tech/sales person at the store nearest to me to expect my visit.
this is true bc i was conversing, friendly btw, with the girl at the sprint store i went to. long story short, i asked about reservation amounts. She said the Evo tore this phone apart in first day sales, not even close. Anyways to add a funny note, she goes okay im going to update your phone with this OTA. Im like no i dont want it thank you. Shes like why are you going to root it? I was like oh man if only my girl was interested in this stuff lol, na jk. But it was pretty cool to meet someone like that.

I need a friend at a Sprint store. Any Sprint employee's in NC want to be my friend
So he doesn't sell... he does a lot of traveling... spends his time in a care or whatever he uses to travel. He looks at reports and goes around to make sure people are in uniform, the stores are clean and addresses any concerns with employees. I'd say less than 10% even know what a bootloader is... you're wrong, he's wrong, stupid thread that has nothing to do with anything. You just think you're right because you think he's "in the know"... Come on now...
There are more returns on the 3D? False.
4G outsold the 3D in mass numbers? True.
So let's say 30 - Evo 4G's were sold in a month and let's estimate that there is a 1 in 9 return rate... do you're at approximately... 3. So around 10%...
Let's say 10 - Evo 3D's sold in a month... and to be honest, I'm making these numbers up. But I can personally say that I've never seen one returned... So that makes it 0%. Maybe 1 might be returned in the next week and a half... but there's nothing proving that there are more returns...
No one in this thread, including myself has provided any sources for numbers. Everyone is pulling numbers out their asses.
Not a single 3D has been returned at the store I work at. That's a actual number. 0.
How many went out, I can't say. But I can say release day stock was sold out and fulfilled by pre-orders within a hour of store opening.
We've been lucky to keep 1-2 in stock.

[Q] Worth the upgrade from thunderbolt or wait?

I'm able to upgrade from my Thunderbolt to the Rezound for $99 (I can't seem to stomach the 2-yr contract even at that price!). I like my Thunderbolt but I have the itch to upgrade.... I can probably even sell my Thunderbolt on Ebay and make $100 lol. Anybody coming from a Thunderbolt wishing they stuck with the Thunderbolt and waited for a quad-core?
It's head and shoulders better than the Thunderbolt, but you may as well wait. With only two-year contracts these days it's worth the wait.
I've owned both, and I love my Rezound, but I got it as a replacement. I wouldn't have bothered otherwise.

It was kind of a mess, and it took a week of ****ing up customer service, executive customer service, and some nasty emails. I don't recommend it.
Did you get your TBolt on a one-year contract? That's probably the problem. They told me they pretty much wouldn't give someone who was about to be off-contract a new phone. They eventually did, but it was awful.

Exactly the problem. I paid extra for a one-year contract so they told me the same thing: We can't change your phone if you are able to upgrade. I am more than happy to go through the process if it means me not having to be in a stupid 2 year contract lol
Here's the best question...what would you be waiting for? All of the announced HTC phones aren't for CDMA carriers. Who knows when the next crop of phones would be hitting and what they would be.

There will be an HTC One on Verizon soon enough. The MSM8960 SOC supports CDMA and LTE.

rumored HTC fireball is CDMA and modeled ADR6410 which would be a successor to the Thunderbolt. If it's quad-core and coming in the next 4-6 months it may be the way to go...

I was only able to because a CS agent ****ed up. Or, rather, did their job, and Verizon claimed they ****ed up, and so I appealed to a higher power.
A Verizon CS promised me a Rezound as a replacement, said it was in the mail, blah blah blah. I called a few hours later when I realized I wasn't sure if had included a battery and back in the package. The nice lady I talked to saw the order for the Rezound and no order for a battery and a backplate. So she ordered that and sent it to me.
Two days later I get two packages. One with the Rezound battery backplate and battery, and one with a Thunderbolt. One of those wtf moments. So I called in, asked what happened, and after hours on the phone they finally determined that the original CS agent was not authorized to give me a Rezound, and so the order had been cancelled, and they just sent me another Thunderbolt, all without telling me. All the while they gave me at least three or four different reasons, the first being that they had never ordered me a Rezound in the first place. So I asked the obvious question of, so why did I get a Rezound battery and backplate?
In the end they wouldn't budge. Only a Thunderbolt for me. No Rezound possible, despite them promising one to me.
I was kinda pissed, so I wrote executive CS an email detailing the situation. They called me, sorted the story out, and shipped me a Rezound.
I think the only reason I got a Rezound was because of their enormous series of ****ups. Without that they probably would have given me the same brush off they gave you. Well, they tried to give it to me. I'm not sure you'll have any luck--my situation was pretty particular.
Ironically I have a very similar issue. The customer service rep lied to me and said there is no other 4G HTC that is any better than mine so my option was to downgrade to a 3G HTC or take another Thunderbolt. I said "what about the rezound?". He told me the screen size was bigger on the Rezound so that is not possible. I responded by correcting him about the size. He said, "Ok fine, I will try to ship you the Rezound and you may have it by Tuesday but it will probably get denied. I will call you tomorrow if that happens". Sure enough, I was on the phone with his supervisor the next day because he never called me (shocker). They basically told me to pound sand in nice words. Eh whatever...

That's weird to me. Because if you're able to upgrade then your contract is coming close to being up and you would be free to go to another carrier. A long time ago on Sprint or Cingular my phone broke when my contract was over and they said they didn't want to give me one for free (I had no insurance or anything) but at the same time they were unable to diagnose what the problem was since it couldn't turn on. So I told them if you can't tell me what's wrong with it and you won't replace it I'll just go get a free phone from another carrier. Within 5 minutes they were giving me a phone. They offered me a particular one and I asked about a different one that was the same price and they let me have that. This was in flip phone days, still it was $100 price on phone.

I'm able to cancel in June... Verizon allows you to upgrade 4 months ahead of contract renewal.
It probably depends on your usage habits. My wife has a year left with the TB, but it's a great phone for her. The Rezound screen and camera are leaps and bounds better, but the battery life and overheating issues make me hesitant to say its a substantially better device.
If you are a power user who will really appreciate the screen and speed, upgrade. Otherwise wait for the next batch of phones that we're sure to see late summer or so. May as well stay on the cutting edge if you have the option!

Don't take this as a wiseass commnent or anything but...Doesn't the Rezound have GSM hardware? When (other than the iPhone) has a manufacturer retrofitted a phone to work on Verizon?
From my experience and other's, they will pretty much only bulge ONLY if you are still a year or so ahead from the contract being done. People where able to upgrade from a Droid Charge to other 4G devices, same with the Bionic. Im getting my wife her 3rd Droid Charge replacement, it keeps dropping 4G like there's no tomorrow whereas my Rezound is perfectly fine. One more complaint and they guranteed me a different 4G phone.
From reading a bunch of other similar posts like mine, I think I'm gonna make the jump. @ $99 for such a powerful device, I'd probably be crazy for passing it up when it very recently came out

I agree, I do have a feeling the Rezound will stay the best HTC phone on Verizon until the summer and even then still stay relevant.
Don't tell that to Verizon, they did a piss poor job of marketing the phone.

[Q] Any discounts available for a new customer?

I am thinking about coming to Verizon. I am on Sprint now with 2 lines with data on both. Because of a recent billing change I can get out of my contract until Saturday, March 10th. Sprint has went downhill in my area over the past year or so, but their prices are still good. I am looking to get a discount of some sort to help deal with the price difference. I will be getting 2 smartphones with data (likely used month to month at first until newer phones come out). I work for a small electrical contractor in a small town so I won't be eligible for a employee discount. Is there any tricks I can use to get a discount? Maybe somebody else's work email or something like that? If anybody knows anything please post or PM me with details/ link to thread/ anything. Thanks
I don't plan on signing a contract immediately because I would like to wait on HTC's next big phone. I have had the Evo3d since launch day and am a smartphone junky, so I don't think I could handle such similar phones for almost 3 consecutive years with no upgrade. I would like to go ahead and sign a contract now, use a used phone in the meantime and have an upgrade waiting on me when I get ready to use it, but the customer sales rep for Verizon said that wasnt possible. If anybody has any input, info, or advice please help me out. I have to swap carriers and get my 2 numbers ported before the end of the day Saturday, or I'm stuck with Sprint for another 14-16 months...That would be AWEFUL!
Thanks!
Can't you terminate your contract with sprint, but just stay on month to month without the contract?
getting discounts here isnt as easy as it was on sprint. i came from sprint, all you needed was an email and you were set. here they want proof of employment or if they use email, they send confirmation to that email from what ive seen. not to your own email. but those are few companies that do that so its harder. lol

No.. What they do is waive the ETFs AFTER you've ported out in a case like this.
Trust me.. they more than pushed me out last month with their attitude about the whole thing.
Sprint did indeed go downhill and while it is cheaper and truly unlimited.. you AREN'T getting what you're paying for anymore. VZWs 3G speeds blow away sprints and let's not even talk about 4G because it's night and day too. Sprint isn't even going to expand their current 4G network (wimax) because of the soured relationship with Clear. Oh and by the way... my 4G works just as fast indoors as it does outdoors. After 9 years with sprint that contract change was the final straw.
Make sure you get in during the double data deal because i'm not sure i would be comfy with a 2GB monthly cap.

unfortunately not. The guy I talked to said I have to be off the network completely by March 10th or I am stuck for the remainder of my contact. I have read that a few were allowed to go month to month and many that had 30 days after they called, but the rep told me it is 30 days from the February billing cycle. I just found out about this today and called right after work. So I have basically 3 days to have my numbers ported over to Verizon or I am out of luck.
Anybody have an account with no discount for 2 lines, 700 minutes, unlimited text, and 2gb(4gb under promotion) on both? If so what does it end up being after all taxes, surcharges, etc? I pay $167.XX on Sprint right now, and really hope Verizon can keep it under $200.
What if you port to att or verizon off contract? Then just port the number back to sprint off contract.

Somehow I think that would be a nightmare-ish idea.. especially if the OP needs his line for work.
If you need to port that quick you'll also need to do an in-store purchase. I think $167 for the package you stated is probably close to doable. You'll also get much more friendly/helpful customer service with verizon. Playing devil's advocate you should also be aware that verizon's mobile to mobile only includes other VZW customers unlike sprints any mobile to mobile.

That sound very tempting to try, but just sounds risky. I know I have read somewhere that if you cancel your contract on Sprint and come back within 30 days that you basically are just on your same old contract again. I maybe wrong, or whoever said it may have been wrong, I don't remember where I read it. But if someone has experience doing something like this I would love to here about it. It would at least get me through until HTC releases a quad core, or s4 based phone.

If you like HTC phones like i do.. just compare the specs of the verizon phones to the sprint phones (htc->htc). You'll see that verizon has much better specs on the phones than sprint too.

The on network mobile to mobile is now problem, because 90% of the people around here have Verizon anyway. The package I put together online was about $173 (before taxes and surcharges) , but I think I had insurance for 2 rezounds for that price.

I have to disagree. My Evo3d is very similar to my coworker's rezound . It has basically the same processor only .3ghz slower, same amount or RAM, same screen size, QHD screen vs 720p (the difference is honestly not noticeable when held side by side) and it came out about 4 months before. Don't get me wrong I really like the Rezound, but I feel it hardly has much better specs, slightly better specs at most.
That's what originally drew me to Sprint, they get the hottest phones first, and low monthly costs. But their service has let me down recently.
Please don't take offense to this post, I mean no disrespect
Well if it's close.. I would say to you exactly what I told my wife when I dropped Sprint. Sprint has done NOTHING to keep my account. They have not done anything with their local infrastructure. They never respond to trouble tickets. Their status quo really sucked bad.
Verizon on the other hand, has done extensive network upgrades and is very responsive to any problem you have.

Sprint discounts

Despite re-upping my contract 2 more years LAST YEAR with studentrate, sprint is asking me to reaffirm my eligibility right now. I currently have 23% off listed as "employee discount". I'm not sure why I wouldn't get studentrate's discount for my full 2 year contract considering that was most of the reason I did it through them..?
At any rate, does anyone know what discounts are out there if I can't get studentrate to renew mine? I used to have a 10% one that everyone gets, but it would be nice if there's a way to do better.

Its probably worth noting that Sprint's changed their policies on getting/keeping corporate discounts. If you start a new line of service or upgrade an existing line of service, you need to prove you're eligible for the discount. This can only be done online at www.sprint.com/verify. If you don't go to this website and complete the verification process within 30 days (pretty sure it's 30 days, might be 15) of starting the new line or upgrading, the corporate discount will be removed from your account.
This might be hard to believe, but it turns out there were a ton of people who claimed to be employed by certain companies, or claimed to be students at a specific school, who weren't - they just told sprint they were in order to get that company's or school's discount. In the same respect, a ton of people are no longer with the companies that got them a discount, or are no longer students, but never told Sprint that they shouldn't be getting that discount anymore.

Wierd - it's supposed to be company-wide at this point. How long ago was "just"? Did you go through retentions or anything? Keep your eye on your bill - I wouldn't be surprised if they notify you in a bill insert that you now have to go to that site to verify your discount since you just upgraded.

You do realize that Sprint's plans are the biggest bang for the buck, right? Just because people are getting discounts that they're (mostly) entitled to, doesn't raise the price of the service. In fact, it's probably one of the cheapest services around without discounts.

Well, they're not doing it with the cost of service, because it hasn't fluctuated in a long time. The price of TEP has gone up, but only because of the price of phones going up (and probably because people are constantly returning them for stupid reasons and they accept just about anything as a replacement).

I wouldnt blame it on that as much as id like to. I understand that prices havent fluctuated in awhile but a few months ago i do remember a revamp if you will of the plans especially the family plan that changed how it was billed but not actually the price of it. I do know that i dont recieve my discount on the other lines like it used its only applied to my primary line. My previous statement about price rise wasnt just talking about sprint but all across the board whether it be cell service groceries or anything else. If a company is getting cheated out of money they have to make it up somehow so they strategically raise prices or add charges (i.e. 10 smartphone charge or whatever its called) to make up for losses of either false discounts false insurance claims theft or any other reason for lost profits. Ok i think thats enough for right now lol
